Third POV
"I can't get a scent of Cynthia anywhere..." Natsu sighed.
"Well try harder." Gray rolled his eyes at him.
"What was that?!" Natsu roared.
"I said you need to try harder."
"You two. That's enough..." Erza sent a glare to them, and their faces drained in blood, which everyone to sweat drop at.
"H-Hai..." they squeaked.
"Do you know where Cynthia-chan and the others were suppose to go for their job?" Lucy asked worriedly.
"Apparently Cee-chan told me that it was only two hours away from our guild." Sting muttered, trying to take a whiff of Cynthia's scent.
"But the scent of trees are in the way." Rogue huffed.
"I hope Cynthia is okay... I'm getting this bad feeling." Lucy said.
"We'll find her. Have hope Lucy." Erza patted her back for reassurance but it seemed that Lucy couldn't handle it and fell forward. "H-Hard.." she screeched.
"I'll fly up to see if we can find anything!" Happy interjected.
"I'll come to! That way it can be faster." Lily added.
"That's my cat for you!" Gajeel smirked.
"Lector, Frosch... if you can." Sting muttered, motioning for them to tag along.
"Already on it, Sting-kun! Let's go Frosch!" his red furry partner nodded and brought out his wings.
"Fro thinks so, to!" he added and began to fly up with the other two exceeds by their side.
"This is such a drag. We don't have any hints of Cynthia's whereabouts." Laxus grimaced.
"What if the enemy cleaned up the scene before we could even figure out?" Gray chimed.
"Whoever it is... will dearly pay." Sting growled and everyone darkened their looks.
"Believe Sting. We will find her. One way or another. We will get her back." Natsu said.
"I know we will... Natsu-san."
"Oi Happy! Lily, Lector, Frosch! Did you guys find anything?!" Natsu hollered as the four exceeds all came in front of us with worried expressions.
"Any luck?" Gajeel asked.
"Frosch?" Rogue muttered.
"Well we found something that is a little farther from where we are..." Lector mentioned, turning everyone's attention towards him.
"What is it, Lector?!" Sting asked.
"It isn't too far, maybe a couple of minutes."
"Fro thinks so, to!"
"Well... what are we waiting for?! Maybe Cynthia is there!" Natsu grinned.
"We need to hurry." Rogue said.
"B-But the thing is..." Happy interrupted.
"What? What is the thing?!" The White Dragon Slayer arched an eyebrow, getting ready to run full speed towards the direction.
"There was... blood." Lily grimaced.
"B-Blood?!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Oi! What do you mean?!" Sting snarled, but was held back by Rogue and glared at him so that he could let him go, but shook his head and Sting sighed in defeat.
"G-Gomen."
"Was there something else other than blood?" Erza asked this time.
"There were a pile of demons that seem to be unconscious?" Lector said.
"Demons?" says Laxus, who raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah... there was even a small cottage there, but it wasn't attacked or anything." Lector cautiously said.
"It wasn't demolished?" Rogue said.
"Aye." Happy answered.
"How can that be? If Cee-chan were to fight that enemy... that cottage would've been destroyed already!" Sting stormed.
"I'm not sure..." Lily said and placed a paw under his chin to think.
"That's weird..." Gray said.
"More like something suspicious." Lucy said.
"Well let's go! I can't sit around and think too much of this. We need to find Cee-chan!" Sting aggressively said, and everyone knew that his patience was getting bitter by the minute.
"Yeah. I'm with you Sting." Natsu said seriously.
"I'm leaving to that place. Lector show me the way! You guys can follow." Sting bickered and ran as Lector was flying to show me the location.
"Oi! Kid! Wait for us!" Gajeel called after him, but Sting ignored it and got a faint scent of Cynthia's blood clogging his nose.
"Lector, I can smell her blood... we're almost there!" he choked.
"Hai Sting-kun... it's up ahead."
"Cee-chan!" Sting roared as they came up closer to the view to see puddles of blood, a skid of dirt that looked like someone was thrown and rolled afterwards.
The two Sabertooth members seem to have noticed a few of those demons that Lector and the others mentioned. They looked out cold. But Sting's eyes and mind were only determined to search for her. He took a large inhale to pick up the scent of Cynthia's, mixed with others. It was quite a mess to figure out who it was. Though, he does know it was definitely Cynthia's, Wendy's, Carla's, the demons scattered on the floor and another scent that wasn't known. It reeked of darkness.
"S-She's not here.." Lector frowned.
"Where can she be?!" Sting growled.
"Sting!" a voice called over to them which it appeared to be Rogue behind him and along with the Fairy Tail rescue team behind him.
"This is..." he started.
"Yeah.. most definitely the place where Cee-chan and the others went out for a battle." Sting said while clenching his fits and jaw. He couldn't believe he let this happen. Sting promised her that he would protect her, to be by her side. But he felt like he was stupid enough to not be there for her. She won't forgive him...he thought. Little did everyone know, Sting felt like he was a horrible boyfriend. He gave out a loud sigh in frustration and felt a hand to reach his shoulder and he tensed up.
"Her scent ends here..." Natsu growled.
"Yeah...I'm not giving up. I need to find her." Sting said as he walked towards the terrain that was damaged and scouted to find anything else that could help them to lead to her.
"Found anything you guys?!" Erza asked as everyone splitted up, investigating the scene.
"Nothing!" Lucy shouted.
"It's like a dead end." Lily piped up and Gajeel grunted.
"Seriously. Her smell is mixed with others... it's difficult to figure out." Natsu sighed and crossed his arms over his chest.
"What would the enemy even need Cynthia for?" Gray nonchalantly asked and stared over to the demons that were dead.
"Don't know." Laxus said.
"This is hopeless." Rogue muttered under his breath making his Dragon Slayer to flinch but seethed out in anger. In a flash, Sting ran up to him , grabbing his collar in a fist and bared his fangs at him.
"Rogue! We can find her! I just know it! She needs me... I need her. Don't tell me you're giving up!" he confided to see him glare back.
"I'm not giving up. I'm simply saying that we're have no clue or anything to help us find her." he argued as an irk mark appeared on my forehead. Sting was getting pissier by the minute.
"Clues or no clues! We need to find her! I don't care if it takes hours or days. I just want to find Cynthia! My mate!" he growled, getting ready to aim a punch.
"Oi! Sting calm down!" Gajeel grunted in annoyance.
"Calm down? You're telling me to calm down?! How can I?! I'm getting restless here!" he shouted.
"Kid! Listen, we understand what you're feeling. Just take a deep-"
"I will not listen! I want to know if she's safe or not! I will beat you're asses if I don't find her soon! If you guys give up, then I will find her on my own!"
"Sting-kun..." Lector whimpered.
"Take a deep breath Sting." Erza mentioned, but Sting couldn't help but to glare in her direction.
"Don't tell me to take a deep breath because I won't, you crazy equipped monster redhead!" Sting shouted, making her to shrink in size and twitch in shock.
"Oi oi. Why are you-" Gray said.
"Shut up Ice stripping boy!" Sting snarled.
"I really think that you should think about-" they heard Lucy to say.
"I need to think about Cynthia and stop bothering me, you annoying celestial mage!" Sting blurted and her face went blank.
"Seriously. You're making everything worse as it is." Rogue muttered.
"Me to make things worse?! You guys are not even doing much! So shut your trap Shadow emo man!" he glared in his direction and he looked at me in shock. On the sidelines, Lector and the others exceeds went blank at Sting's sudden outbursts to everyone.
"Geez." Laxus and Gajeel grunted.
"Iron face and Lightning beast don't even get me more pissed than I already am!"
"W-What did you just call us...?!" Gajeel growled.
"I called you an Iron Face! Get it through your thick Metal brain!" Sting snickered.
"You wanna say that again pip squeak?!" he pressed his forehead against the angered White Dragon Slayer.
"Dare me!"
"Sting." a voice was heard, breaking the glaring competition between Gajeel and Sting.
"What is it?!" he asked annoyed.
"We're going to find her, you need to trust everyone. We're comrades." Natsu explained.
"How!? I'm getting annoyed by all this chatting and not being able to get close to her! She's important to me! I need her in my life! I don't want anything to happen to her! I won't forgive myself!" Sting growled but was interrupted with a fist contacting on his left cheek, making him to fly and crash onto a tree. He grimaced in pain as he felt the contact to dig into his back.
"S-Sting!", "S-Sting-kun!", the others called out in shock.
"What the hell was that for?!" Sting yelled towards Natsu, who held a fist to his chest and look pissed but on the other hand, Sting only sent a glare to him while he was trying to stand up from the attack.
"You have to calm down. The way you are now isn't getting you anywhere near Cynthia." Natsu sneered and came up to him a flash and kicked Sting's side. He flew again and rolled on the grass at the impact making him to wince at Natsu's powerful launch.
"You need to have trust." he punched his gut and Sting wheezed out for air but was grabbed by the feather boa on his jacket, to see Natsu who held Sting close to him. It appeared that Natsu, had veins popping out on his face. His eyes dilated but were serious while glaring daggers at the Master of Sabertooth.
"Natsu-san..." Sting started to say, but kicked him in the abdomen and sent him flying up in the air. Then he rushed himself up above Natsu and punched his face, making him to fly and landed roughly on the ground. As a result from the sudden punch, it made Natsu to create a crater underneath him and dust was surrounding him.
"You two! Stop it right now!" Erza hissed, but was ignored and noticed to see Sting who rolled his eyes and aim towards Natsu for another punch. Trying to knock some sense into him, but was cut off by an uppercut of him.
"Fire Dragon's Claw!" Natsu roared, sending Sting to the ground with a huge thud.
"Seriously?! They're having a battle without us?! Raios. Let's go. Geehee." Gajeel smirked over to the Shadow Dragon Slayer who had a nervous look.
"That's Rogue.. and I think I'm fine where I am." he gulped.
"What? Are you afraid that I'm gonna kick your ass again?!"
"It's not that! This is a serious manner. We need to search for Cynthia-chan and stop the two from biting off each other's heads. We all know what happened during the Games." Rogue argued.
"Rogue is right. Gajeel do something about those two." Erza snickered.
"Yeah yeah. I'll put Sting in his place. Oi! Salamander! Kid! That's enough!" Gajeel roared but was completely ignored by the two Dragon Slayers.
"That's it... Roar of the Iron Dragon!" Gajeel roared as his magic gust was sent towards the two Dragon Slayers but they dodged it in a swift.
"Watch where you're hitting!" Sting argued towards Gajeel.
"You wanna pick a fight too?!" Natsu glared before charging towards the Iron Dragon Slayer but was cut off by Sting who gave Natsu a direct hit. Thus, the Fire Dragon Slayer was forced to make contact with the ground once more.
"You idiots! You need to get through your thick heads" Gajeel shouted in annoyance.
"Gajeel is right. You need to stop!" Rogue hissed.
"No way. Not yet. I'm only getting started!" Natsu hollered and got himself up from the ground.
"Let's see what you got Natsu-san." Sting snickered as he held a finger, to motion him to come forward, in which he did.
"Seriously? Won't they listen." Lucy wailed.
"Aye..." the four exceeds answered solemnly.
"If they don't stop right now, I'll have to knock them out." Laxus volunteered but Erza stopped him.
"No... I know how we can stop them. We wouldn't want anymore Dragon Slayers to have a full out battle right now. Gray you know what to do and Lucy I'm counting on you."
"Hai. Leave it to me, Erza!" Gray smirked.
"Alright." Lucy smiled.
"Don't even get in my way!" Both Natsu and Sting yelled in unison.
"Geehee. Let's do this battle again once more! A rematch from the games!" Gajeel smirked and ran towards them, forcing Rogue behind him.
"H-Hey! Wait a minute!" Rogue muttered.
"Karyuu no Houkou!" Natsu roared.
"Suryuu no Hokou!" Gajeel added.
"Hakuryuu no Hokou!" Sting shouted.
"W-Why am I dragged into this?!" Rogue screeched.
"Rogue!" Frosch cried.
"It's certainly like another game..." Lector mentioned.
"You could say that again." Lily sighed.
"Aye..." Happy sweat dropped.
But before the four Dragon Slayers could even slay an attack towards one another. They were missing each other's aim and were somehow crashing into each other. At the sudden contact they were shoved and pushed around before sliding on the cold floor. Natsu was on his stomach gliding and swirling around giving him motion sickles. Meanwhile Sting was twirling on his bottom and crashed into a tree. Gajeel and Rogue were getting motion sickness and tripped over each other.
"Ice: Make... Floor!" they heard Gray to chant. "Ice: Make... Ice Wall!" he added, making the ice to travel and surround the four Dragon Slayers who were incapable of moving and made them frozen, impaling them in place.
"H-Hey Gray, you Ice Princess! Let me go!" Natsu squeaked in sickness to a smirking Gray.
"That's playing dirty!" Sting growled as he struggled in the frozen ice.
"Oi Gray! Let us go!" Gajeel huffed.
"It's so cold..." Rogue muttered, his face drained in blood.
"Good job Gray. Now all of you... Damare." Erza said terrifyingly, as she cracked her knuckles. In return, the four Dragon Slayers who were cooped up in the ice trembled in fear, their faces drained in color and shook their heads as a yes, to the scary Titania.
"No problem. A-Anything to stop these idiots f-from fighting." he mocked shakily, as he felt Erza's aura to darken and became more menacing.
"Minna! I've found a way that can help us to find Cynthia." Lucy beckoned as she stared towards her celestial spirit, the Southern Cross, Crux.
"He's sleeping!" Sting and Rogue sweat dropped who were still stuck in Gray's ice.
"Right?!" Lector and Frosch added.
"Oi Gray you Ice pervert! It's freezing cold!" Natsu growled, his flame breathing out from his mouth and struggled to get out. But to his avail, it didn't work at all.
"Natsu... urusai." Erza sneered as a dark aura surrounded her once more, making him to tremble in fear and the ice at the same time.
"S-Scary..." the four Sabertooth members said.
"He's thinking!" Lucy hushed them, making them to shut their mouths. "So? What's the information about these demons?" she asked her celestial spirit the key, whose floating in the air and his booger bubble popped, waking him up in the process.
"These demons are part of the Book of Zeref..." he said.
"Z-Zeref?!" everyone gasped, however Sting clenched his hands into tight fists beneath the ice, his jaw clenching at the name being said. Lector stiffened up at the name, and knew that it would have to deal with Cynthia who came into their gudl last time, which Sting explained to him. Things were slowly fitting into place.
"Yes. These demons were summoned from someone who seems to be a creation of Zeref."
"Deliora..." they heard Gray to mumble in hatred.
"Do you have any idea where they are or located?" Lucy asked her celestial spirit.
"That I cannot say so much. However... I do know that they are located in a palace that is farther from here... to be exact, West of where you are all standing." he coughed.
"Oi! Can you tell me if Cee-chan is safe?! Is she hurt anywhere?!" Sting yelled over with a worried expression and tried to escape from the ice's grasp. But failed.
"Darkness.." the Crux said seriously, his eyes were now open and gazing at each and every one of them, who were looking back at him anxiously.
"Darkness...?" Rogue muttered.
"Can you detect who the person actually is? The one who kidnapped Cee-chan?!"
"He fell asleep!" Lector and Happy chimed with a sweatdrop.
"I-Iie... I think he's thinking." Gray said.
"Fro thinks so, to!"
"N-No... he's actually sleeping." Lucy scratched her cheek nervously with a sweat drop, in which everyone looked at the her celestial spirit in disbelief.
"Oi Old man! Wake up! We need to find out who did this to her!" Natsu yelled in frustration.
"Cee-chan..." Sting sighed.
"We'll find her. Don't worry everyone. I've got a compass with us!" Erza grinned.
"That's a start." Laxus mentioned.
"Iron Dragon Club!" Gajeel roared as he struggled against the ice which shattered into pieces. His iron arm extending, so that he can escape and gave out his signature laugh. Meanwhile, Natsu, Sting and Rogue glared over to the smirking Iron Dragon Slayer.
"Let us out!" the three yelled in unison.
"I think you should let them go now..." Lily sweatdropped.
"Y-Yeah... I forgot." Gray said innocently as the Dragon Slayers who were still encased were glaring daggers at him. Few seconds later, Gray released their grip from the ice, letting them to topple onto the ground.
"Finally!" the three grumbled.
"That's what you get for not listening." Laxus grumbled and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Why you!" Natsu glared.
"Let's get going everyone. We need to save Cynthia before something happens." Erza said before taking a step with the others behind her.
"I got it. Sting... let's go bring back Cynthia." Natsu smirked over to the White Dragon Slayer.
"Yeah. Natsu-san, everyone. Let's go!" he smirked back.

Time Skip!~ 1 Hour Later
"You know... we haven't been going anywhere." Lucy exclaimed.
"I'm hungry!" Natsu grumbled.
"I want to eat fish..." Happy sighed.
"Me too..." Lector grimaced.
"Fro thinks so, to!"
"We just had a quick bite not too long ago!" Rogue muttered.
"Then eat your fist." Gray nonchalantly said, making an irk mark to appear on Natsu's forehead.
"You wanna go!"
"Bring it on Flame Brain!"
"There they go again." Lucy sighed.
"You two shut up already!" Gajeel commented and face palmed in annoyance.
"What did you say?!" they both barked at him.
"Geehee."
"Mataku..." Era sighed.
"You going to do anything about it?" Laxus grumbled.
"What's the use? They're always at it." Lucy answered for Erza.
"Sting-kun... there's no sign yet of Cynthia..." Lector murmured.
"I know... but I have hope. I have the strength to protect Cynthia." he answered solemnly.
"We should take a small break." Rogue said and turned into a trail that had a few rocks for all of us to sit on and gather our thoughts.
"A picnic!" Erza admirably said, her eyes twinkling in amazement.
"Err... we just ate though.." Lucy sweatdropped.
"Fro thinks so, to!"
"There's nothing wrong with a little snack!" Erza muttered and in a flash, the whole seating area where Rogue was sitting, was already decorated with picnic needs. Soon, Natsu and Gray charged towards the picnic area and started to gulp down on the foods, leaving none for the others.
"Seriously?" Laxus said unamused and raised an eyebrow.
"Natsu... Gray..." an angered Titania hollered from behind, making them to gulp thickly. Before they could even run away, they were dragged back by the collar. In the process, Erza smashed their heads together, making their faces to drain in blood.
"Is it always like this?" Rogue coughed.
"Aye sir!" Happy chirped with sweat beads forming on his face.
"Get used to it. Geehee." Gajeel smirked over to him.
"How can all of you just sit around and not look further for Cee-chan! You call yourselves comrades but you're not even doing as much, as I thought you Fairies would!" Sting yelled, making everyone to stiffen up and glare over to a pissed Sting.
"Sting-kun..." Lector nervously said, trying to calm his partner down.
"I've had enough of this! I'm worried sick about her right now! She could be in danger! The person who dares to touch MY Cynthia will suffer great consequences." he blurted, turning his fists pale white.
"Oi Sting! Calm down. We've been through this already!" Natsu hollered.
"Natsu-san... How can you all sit around and eat again?! We're in a middle of an emergency! Get it through your brains!"
"Calm down." Laxus said as he rubbed his temples.
"You all have already told me to calm down and I did before. But this time, I'm furious with everyone not even rushing or thinking seriously about Cynthia who has been captured!"
"Sting. Do you wanna go at it again?!" Natsu raised an eyebrow before gulping down a plate of food.
"I would! But you're wasting my time to find Cynthia, Natsu-san!"
"Why you...."
"Bring it on!"
"I'll get you for that!"
The two began to start bickering at one another and grabbed onto each others collars. Meanwhile, the others were annoyed and a few of them were trying to stop the fight, but were either knocked out or they were dragged into their mess. However, the five dragon slayers stopped in tracks looking out into the air. Including a freshly new scent that was coming closer to them.
"Do you guys smell that?" Natsu asked, as he released his hold on Sting.
"Yeah, Natsu." Laxus said seriously making the exceeds, Erza, Lucy and Gray to stare at the Dragon Slayers in confusion.
"This scent is so familiar." Gajeel snickered, trying to pick up the scent.
"What scent?" Erza asked.
"It reeks of darkness." Rogue stated blankly but with a hint of worry.
"Darkness?" Gray chimed.
"Yeah. This scent.... It's most definitely... of Zeref's. Can you guys sense it now?" says Natsu, turning to face his comrades who didn't understand the situation, but gradually tensed up to the nearby dark magic. It was getting eerie, dark, and the air was so tense that it was hard to breath.
"I'm getting a bad feeling about this!" Lucy wailed.
"I wonder where it's coming from..." Lily said.
"It smells like..." Natsu added.
"Cynthia!" Sting shocked and ran towards the presence while the others called out for him and tried to catch up to him. But they were all cut off by the same presence again. Closer this time.
"Everyone! Stay on guard!" Erza beckoned, making everyone to get into position.
"Cee-chan! Doko da?!" Sting called out.
"Zeref must've been behind this." Natsu growled.
"Whatever it is. It's coming fast." Laxus interjected.
"Sting! Watch out!" Rogue called out, and thankfully Sting managed to avoid the sudden attack of dark magic.
"What the..." he started.
"There's more coming!" Gajeel grunted.
"Lightning Blast." Laxus murmured and striked down 3 demons from behind them.
"Here they come!" Gray shouted.
"Pipe down! We already know! I'm all fired up!" Natsu smirked as Erza equipped her sword, slashing towards a demon.
"Shadow Dragon's...Waxwing Flash!" Rogue said as he turned himself into a shadow and crept up onto a demon, and assaulted them with his bare hands.
"There's so many of them!" Lucy shouted as she used her whip to lash at one of the demons.
"Don't give up! We have a goal we need to complete!" Erza bickered.
"Holy... Ray!" Sting shouted as he joins his palms together before light was generated in the hollow part of his clasped hands pointing towards five demons that were charging at them.
"Karyuu no... Houkou!" Natsu roared.
"Iron Dragon's Sword." Gajeel chanted as his right arm became his weapon and slashed through a pile of demons.
"Everyone step back. This would be easier..." Erza glared as she equipped into her armor, Heaven's Wheel.
"Frosch, Lector, Happy, Lily! Careful!" Rogue shouted to the exceeds who were getting ready to embrace the impact, but not before that Lily transformed himself into his battle mode. Making all of the Sabertooth members to gawk at his new form.
"Don't worry about them! I'll handle it." Lily said.
"So big...." Lector gasped at Lily in front of him.
"F-Fro... thinks so... to." she quivered in shock.
"Circle Sword..." Erza equipped, making the swords behind her to form a circle at her commands then spun rapidly as she sent them flying towards the demons one by one.
"Powerful..." Rogue muttered.
"Oi Erza! Don't be a show off!" Natsu barked who was idiotic to not notice a demon that was about to pounce on the side towards him.
"White Dragon's Claw!" Sting yelled as he charged after the beast that was a few feet away from attacking Natsu, and landed a powerful blow. Making the demon to squeal in pain as it crashed into it's other team mates.
"T-Thanks Sting..." Natsu said childishly and crossed his arms.
"Natsu-san. Keep your eyes and mind open." he waved a finger at him, making Natsu to growl in irritation.
"My my... Looks like Fairy Tail and Sabertooth are hitting it well by working together, huh?" they heard a deep voice to chuckle.
"Where's Cee-chan?! Are you the one whose behind this?!" Sting roared furiously trying to look around his surroundings for the source of the voice.
"What if I am?" it snickered, making everyone to tense up and darken their facial expressions. Sting looked like he was about to burst his top, he was devastated, pissed, upset and worked up about hearing his precious Cynthia to be in this persons hands.
"Show yourself!" Erza shouted.
"We aren't afraid of you!" Lucy added who held out one of her celestial keys that she is about to call out.
"Such optimism." the voice laughed as it came out of the shadows making Sting and Rogue to lock their gazes coldly at the figure that is appearing before them.
"Who are you?" Gajeel broke the tension.
"You better have not hurt Cynthia." Laxus said in hate.
"I am Master Kurai. One of Lord Zeref's creations. A pleasure to meet you all." Kurai plastered on a sadistic smile, which made everyone to shiver in fear.
"Zeref huh? Tell me... is he here?!" Natsu glared.
"Not as of right now."
"Can the chit chat! Where is Cynthia?" Gajeel barked.
"Are you really wanting to have her back?" Kurai raised an eyebrow as everyone got into a ready position to launch an attack.
"Of course we do! That's what we're here for!" Lucy exclaimed.
"That's right! We want Cynthia-chan back!" the exceeds chimed in.
"What if she doesn't want to come back with you guys?" he snickered.
"The hell with that!" Sting yelled in irritation.
"Oh?"
"We will definitely bring her back!" Natsu roared.
"Because she is our..." Rogue added.
"Cynthia is our comrade!" Lucy and the exceeds shouted in unison.
"Cynthia is my everything! My mate, my childhood best friend... my girlfriend!" Sting hollered with a deathly look on his face.
"We'll have to see about that."
"He's coming. Get ready again!" Erza shouted.
"Ice: Make... Lance!" Gray shouted.
"Gate of the Bull, I open thee! Taurus!" Lucy summoned her celestial spirit, who couldn't help but stare at Lucy's and Erza's body. Complementing them with hearts filling his eyes.
"Seriously?!" Sting and Rogue said in unison, looking at Taurus in disbelief.
"Now's not the time!" Lucy yelled.
"Mooooo... Anything to protect Lucy-san's nice body!" he mooed and began to attack more of the demons that were still chasing after them.
"Sounds like a pervert..." Lector grimaced.
"F-Fro thinks so, to..."
"Hakuryuu no Hokou!" Sting roared out his white laser beam, along with the other roars of the Dragon Slayers. Hoping that it would work to reach out to Kurai who still held a smug grin, plastered on his face. But that attack didn't seem to reach him, instead something else blocked the attack, making a huge pile of dust to cover to whole scenery.
"D-Did we get him?" Rogue asked as he panted to take a breather.
"Not yet..." Gajeel said.
"Something doesn't seem right..." laxus grunted.
"You all want Cynthia back? Well then...I think you need to ask the Queen of Darkness for her permission!" Kurai chuckled.
"Who's your damn Queen?! Let me at her!" Natsu roared.
"We'll knock her until we can barge in to get Cynthia back!" Sting added in.
"Why don't you ask her yourself... Isn't that right my queen?" Kurai walked up to the clouded figure in the dust and held out a hand for him to gently reach.
"This scent... it couldn't be..." Natsu's eyes went as huge as dinner plates.
"That's right. Meet my Queen. The Queen of Darkness and her evil magic will help me to destroy this humiliating world!"
"N-No way!" Lector stuttered as the other exceeds were grimacing and trembling at the figure in front of them, as the dust became clearer.
"This can't be true!" Lucy shouted in shock.
"H-How?!" Gray added, making Gajeel and Laxus to stare in shock and weren't thinking straight of the person. But Laxus held a very pissed and sour mood.
"W-Why..." Erza muttered, her eyes dilating.
"The shadows took her...." Rogue growled.
"I won't believe this! I cant! This isn't happening or true right now!" Sting staggered, unable to register and skeptical of the Queen in front of them.
"C-Cynthia?!" Everyone yelled out in unison.
"There you have it...This is the truth. Let me introduce you properly to this exquisite woman." he said as he gently lifted her hand in his and gave a small kiss at the back of her hand, making everyone to glare in anger. While Sting hissed in pain and fury."This is Cynthia, Queen of Darkness and Evil, also known as my betrothed fiancee. Where we shall rule the world together...Your once pure and innocent mage, who's turned her side against you." Kurai grin wickedly as everyone was frozen in shock, and dominated by the new appearance of their once full of life... Comrade.
Cynthia, a helpless and empty girl who gave a cold and deathly stare to her once friends.

Cynthia's POV
"Why won't you believe me Cynthia? I love you. Only you." Zeref said sadly.
"I have no intentions of running away with you. Get to the point Zeref. I would be your friend but as lovers, that is something that I cannot return." I sneered seeing him to tense up.
"You said so yourself... you can't help it but fall for that person, and I did. Wasn't that right, Cynthia?" he raised an eyebrow.
"That's right.. but still. You can't force someone to love you."
"Getting it through you, is tough." he chuckled.
"That's because I am fighting for what I believe in. That is my only concern."
"Look over here Cynthia..." he smiled, making me to gaze up to a bubble mirror of some sort, showing off my reflection.
"I'm looking at myself... is that all you want me to stare at, Zeref?" I crossed my arms.
"Look closer."
"I don't see- What!" I gasped in shock.
"You can see that you're friends are already conflicted to fight."
"Why would they?! They wouldn't hold back!" I shouted.
"They're holding back because of you." Zeref chuckled as he made the lacrima vision to focus to a girl who had long black silky hair and red blood eyes. Almost like it was Zeref's evil side. But something about her, got the chills running down my body. Something doesn't seem right and I knew what the answer was.
"I'm presuming that you're wondering who that is?"
"I'm not going to believe your tricks Zeref!"
"Oh? But that is you. You turned yourself into darkness, that is why you're here with me in your conscious."
"Cut the crap! I won't believe it!"
"Then... shall we go see it in person?"
"What do you mean?"
"This." he beckoned as our surroundings were fading to a bright light and soon our vision came to a clearing of the familiar scene. "Over there." he stared out to a couple of people who were being pushed back by the girl. The one with blood red eyes who held no emotion but a similar giant spear in her hand that was pure black.
"Cynthia!" I saw a familiar salmon pink hair, to shout.
"We can't hurt her!" Erza grunted.
"What a pain!" Gajeel sneered.
"Cee-chan... come back. Go back to your senses... Please... we need you back! I need you back!" I had a familiar voice to yell out in worry and frustration. My eyes lingered to see a familiar Master of Sabertooth, with blonde spiky hair, blue eyes, a scar on his right eyebrow, and his usual attire he's always worn. He looked shocked and miserable at the newly form that my body was overtaken by darkness.
The rest were there behind or beside him. There was Team Natsu with Gajeel and Laxus, which I am surprised to see them here but very happy! Probably because they already knew the news of my disappearance by Wendy and Carla. I'm glad they're taken back to the guild to get treatment, since I already know they weren't here to back everyone out. Forgive me... Wendy... Carla.
Back to Laxus and Gajeel who looked pissed towards Kurai who held a smug look, even if Master didn't give them orders, they would've already sprinted to bring me back home. I noticed to see Lector and Frosch who was sulky and confused at the new me that was gazing at them. I felt so helpless and I can't believe that the shadows overpowered me.
Rogue was tense and worked up at the sight. I knew he was bitter about the shadows to make me fall into the wrong hands. Rogue was a shadow Dragon Slayer after all.
Staring at myself, known as the Queen of Darkness... my eyes were now ruby blood red and shimmering as she/I was staring intently at everyone and my long luscious sand brown hair that I love, was now pitch black. I knew that everyone was dominated by the new powers that my body was . That I was consumed by the darkness.
"S-Sting..." I whispered hoarsely. "Sting I'm over here!" I shouted, trying to get his attention or anyone's.
"They can't hear you and nor can they see us either." Zeref chuckled.
"So you're saying that we're practically ghosts...?" I asked.
"Yes. Basically we're only a shadow to watch over them." he said as he kept watching the scene being unfolded.
"Everyone..." I whispered and tried to reach out for them, but I couldn't even move. I was glued to the state where I was. Beside Zeref.
"This is a troublesome." he sighed.
"Then why won't you help me to get back to them so I can beat Zurui's ass? Why did you even let this happen in the first place?! Zeref, I demand an answer!" I mocked.
"That's not what I meant." he snickered and I frowned.
"Then what?"
"How the world always revolves around conflict and it never ends. Even if I don't want to kill... there's always bloodshed. For example... This right now... and it was my demon that simply brought you into this mess."
"Demon my ass, you could use your power to stop them you know.For your information, the world would always revolve around conflict. That's part of life. The way how we humans live... to fight for the right and to protect our comrades, our earth. There will always be evil... Humans aren't perfect Zeref. Neither the world, nor me or you. Nobody's perfect but perfect as who we are." I sighed but kept my attention towards everyone who were struggling to see me... the dark me.
"Everyone rejects me. Then I will reject them too. You of all people, should know that by know." he monotonously said.
"That is why, I am going to stop you myself." I glared.
"Cynthia..." he murmured, as we were being drawn back into a dark space once more. No longer seeing Sting, or the others.
"I'm not holding back Zeref. I will fight." I sneered and got into a stance as I quipped my spear.
"Come."
"I gladly will..."
"However there is one thing I need you to answer before we begin..." he said seriously, as I gave a poker face.
"What would that be?"
"What is your wish...?"
"My wish...?"
"That's right... Now, tell me what it is that you really desire for."
"I desire to get out of this hell hole!"
"There's something more than that Cynthia."
"My wish huh...?"
"Ah."
"I would only say this once. So you better listen well. I'm not going to repeat myself Zeref."
"I'm all ears."
"My wish... is to destroy you and to go back to my friends, my family... to Sting."
"I see..."
"... Is that all you needed?" I glared, tightening my grip on my spear as it ignited with my gold dust.
"Try to defeat me." he brought up a hand and lifted it towards me.
"Here I come, Zeref!" I yelled and charged towards the dark mage who chuckled.
"I'm ready for you... Cynthia."
