Two years later
"You can't run anymore. Just give up, already." The fanged guy said as thirst is visible in his eyes.
His victim is now doomed, they are in a dark alley and no one is around in this set of time.
"Any last words before I give a taste of your blood?"
"Look up." The girl said which made the vampire frown.
As he did that, he saw nothing but a tall building. When he set his eyes back on his prey, he was surprised to see that his victim multiplied.
"Boo!" The girl playfully utters as she runs towards the vampire.
The vampire didn't expect it. He was in shock, which made it easier for the victim to turn the tables. She didn't waste time and thrust the core of the vampire with a sharp dagger.
She watched as it turned down as soon as she pulled out her weapon. She pulled down the hood of her cape and kept her dagger in her pocket.
Hooking her phone, she called a number on her contact.
"One down, next to our village."
["Go back now, the others are already here."]
"Copy."
She pulled a lighter from her pocket and lit it before throwing the fire on the vampire's dead body.

"I think the village next to us is getting cleaned up now. We can ask Sejun to have a talk with their leader and merge their village with us." Haewon suggested as she arrived at their meeting place.
It's been just a couple of years and their progress soar high than they expected. They didn't waste time and sit around knowing vampires could be just around.
Y/N and her friends kept their plan to search around to hunt down vampires. Of course, they made it carefully. Sejun also finds out about Y/N's doings but that makes everything fast-growing coz Sejun provided the girl's weapons and a place to stop. Technically they became the police of their village.
"Now that fast. I think we should go to the next village and live there for a couple of days. To observe too. We can't just make a move after killing some vampires in there." Y/N said.
"Y/N, in case you needed, I got a map of the village next to us. Gaeul and I have been going back and forth and we got some information there." Karina said as she laid a self-made map she and Gaeul made.
"I was with Sejun when he got a talk with the leader next village. He seems sketchy, I don't think we could trust him easily. Sejun is also not comfortable with him." Lily said.
"Well, we two have been observing around our village. Our people are cooperative with reporting if there are suspicious and possible vampires around. None so far." Kyujin said she looked at Leeseo.
It's also been two years since they set positions for the group, Leeseo, and Kyujin go around to patrol with the other people of Sejun to make sure the village is vampire-free. Karina and Gaeul study villages nearby. Lily is working on Sejun to look after him and also see possible allies in villages nearby. For Y/N and Haewon, they do most work of killing vampires as they got powers.
It was a big adjustment but still a worthy one. Especially that they can see the progress.
Already been ten years in total and Y/N can't believe that she's slowly working on getting back life for the people around her. Not fast but still progressing.
"We can settle down for now. It's a bit alarming that we barely see vampires. They probably sense our actions." Y/N said.
"I think so too. Even if they can go out in the morning, they are being cautious." Haewon said.
"Anyway, Y/N, you mentioned before that the family you left saw your work, right? The serum allows them to step to light. What happened? Do you think they are using it now?" Karina asked.
"Probably. I regret that I didn't hide it well from them. I just know that because of that, they can also be our problem."
"But we are ready, right? No need to worry." Leeseo said.
"We can't be assured of that. Sejun already knew this about this."
The girls nodded and they decided to go back to their house. There, the little child and the dog are waiting for them.
"Unnie!" Amy called as she saw Y/N. She ran with Yoree and enveloped her arms around Y/N.
"Uncle Sejun said you'll be late, so I waited for you."
"It is pretty late, Amy. It's not good for you to stay up late."
"Stubborn like her sister, I guess." Sejun sighed and walked out of the kitchen.
"Food is ready, Amy ate already," Sejun announced and the other girls thanked the older while they head to the kitchen.
"Lily said you had a meeting with the leader of the next village," Y/N said as she lifted Amy in her arms.
"Yeah, I don't think we can merge with them. Anyway, I knew some villages that we can trust."
"No, we can't jump on another village away from us. Haewon and I will check it next time. We just decided to lie low. Vampires are becoming elusive."
"I understand. I'll go now, I just stopped here since Lily said you were all in the meeting a while ago."
"Thanks for looking after Amy."
"Not a problem, Amy played outside too so it wasn't a problem."
Y/N looked at Amy who was just listening to them and smiled. The good thing is that the village they are now living in is safe.

After days of stopping hunting vampires, Sejun got a report of a vampire attack from the village next to them. About six members of people were found dead and according to the report, Vampires' doing.
Later that day, it was announced that the six people did something else and not because of the vampires. Contradicting what Sejun found first. He found it strange so he said it immediately to Y/N. They come up with plans and are now up on hunting again.
The girls went to the suspect village with Sejun as their frontman. He set up a meeting with the suspected village and brought the girls with him.
While Sejun is busy talking to the leader, Gaeul, Karina, and Haewon searched the building for some suspicious activity.
Y/N, Lily, Kyujin, and Leeseo are with Sejun.
"Are these your..."
"My people. They are part of the huge progress of my village. "
"Oh, good for you then. So, what brought you here?"
Y/N studied the guy sitting across from them while she also observed the surrounding.
No signs of vampires around.
Sejun laid his plan together with the other leader as he didn't get a sign from Y/N. After some talks and considerations, they ended the meeting and left the building.
As they got in their car, the three are already waiting for them.
"All clear, nothing suspicious in the building. I guess they already hid the evidence." Haewon said.
"What's the plan now?" Sejun asked.
"Continue the work? We have to show their leader that we're capable of protecting them. That will only happen if we merged. Still, we should be up with our security with our people. We can't risk all."
"Right, if their leader saw what we can do, I'm sure he'll say a word."
"You think we should just tell Y/N is a vampire and you know... " Leeseo asked.
"Too much risk. But we can continue hunting down vampires. I'm sure these people are just stuck with what they can do to protect themselves and their people. They have no choice." Sejun said.
"I also think it's a good thing we merge into their village. We can go back and forth without them thinking we are up on something. Next thing, we can go to the other village and hunt." Karina said.
"And we can find more people who have powers. Convince them to help us." Haewon added.
