#synopsis! : Y/n had a meeting with the Yuheng, Keqing for almost 4 hours later that day. As the Annual Lantern rite approached, Keqing wished to keep a few foolish businessmen at bay and since Y/n was the one who kept checks of this, she was called for the work.
Exhausted Y/n meets up with her platonic friend, Kazuha who had then returned to Liyue, while she was walking back home and they declared to have a reunion drink at the tavern, where they also met Kaveh.

"KAZUHA YOU'RE BACK?" You ask in surprise as you walked by the Harbor, running into the familiar Inazuman.
You were just going back home after a long day of work until you decided to take the route through the harbor for a much relaxing trip back home but to your surprise you saw your friend.
The sight of his silver-white and strands of crimson red hair, tied together into a pony to the back of his head was visible to you from a distance. At first you rubbed your eyes twice to see if it's him or not but then you began pacing forward faster.
Upon hearing him speak to a merchant, you couldn't help but shout his name out and realize you made no mistake about the person
"Oh its you, hello Y/n? How have been faring lately?" He turned around to notice you run towards him, breathing heavily.
"YOU'RE ALIVE? AND WHY HAVEN'T YOU EVEN SENT A SINGLE LETTER?" you said as you pointed at him, heavily panting.
He seemed a little taken aback. "Um..I had some matters to take care of?" He said slightly chuckling and rubbing the back of his neck.
You sighed. "A wanted criminal goes back to his homeland, who apparently was my friend and never sends a message back to tell if he's alive or not. Sounds like someone."
He slightly smiled looking at your annoyed expression. "My apologies. You're right I should have at least asked Captain Beidou to let you know I'm alive. I arrived few hours ago."
"All right weed sucker, let's get going we are drinking tonight. I need to know how you managed to return back from Inazuma without even a single scratch." You immediately suggested although the other man slightly seemed hesitant.
Nonetheless, he agreed to his friend's request. Or he knew he'll see your wrathful side....

"I don't know if you are really disappointed that I came back with no scratch or....happy about it.." Kazuha said as he took a sip of his fruit juice as he didn't want alcohol. On the other hand you were already tipsy and began blabbering out random things.
"Me?..pff you're mistaken Kazuha! I'm rather happy." You brush off his statement.
"Really Y/n? I heard from Captain Beidou that you were the first to ask her if anything happened to me or not.." Kazuha said as he held a grin on his face.
You nearly choked on your alcohol. "You. Man I literally gave you lessons on how to run away from officers who may come after you in discreet......Of course as your teacher I wanted to know if my student did well or not!" You huff and slam the table slightly.
To your surprise, you heard your fellow architect with artistic block's voice.
"Y/n? I didn't know you were serious about drinking tonight." Kaveh said as he entered the tavern to see you and Kazuha together.
"Welcome, Welcome Kaveh! oh Kazuha meet Kaveh, he's a student of mine and actually APPRECIATES me for helping him out......" You said sarcastically to Kazuha.
"Look, I..." Kazuha tried explaining again only get interrupted by you.
"Enough weed sucker. Kaveh this is my first disgraceful student whom I taught a lot of things yet I'm never appreciated by him. Congratulations you are my favorite student now."
Kazuha looked at Y/n in disbelief. Kaveh chuckled looking at the two. "Well, a pleasure meeting you Kazuha." He says as he took a seat down.
"Cut with your damn formalities and start with your story WEED SUCKER! oh and BOSS TWO GLASSES OF <some alcoholic drink> FOR THIS MAN HERE!" You shout as you raise your hand getting the attention of the attender who brought drinks for Kaveh.
Kazuha began narrating his whole story that happened in Inazuma. Y/n kept giving him compliments while Kaveh silently heard the entire story.
Once Kazuha was done narrating you began clapping. "Wohoo, I cannot still believe you've come back without a scratch especially after facing the shogun!"
"..you again sound disappointed about it." Kazuha remarked.
"Whaaaat no, I don't! It's a good story though everything you said were real." You said as you drank your beverage.
Kaveh on the other sat quietly. His drink remained untouched for a while now. You couldn't help but notice this unusual aura from him as he always sounded chaotic and loud.
"What happened to you now?" You ask looking at Kaveh. He snapped out of his train of thoughts and looked at you.
He replied. "Nothing. Just thought how much Kazuha must have gone through being your student."
Kazuha who sat across the table slightly chuckled in approval.
"When will I ever meet a person who would actually appreciate me. I take whatever I said back about you Kaveh, you are as disgraceful as Kazuha."
"I did not insult you, now did I? It's just you are very unpredictable. One moment you'd be the happiest person and then go on about how life is meaningless or how you want to destroy something." Kaveh said back.
You were completely called out by the blonde man. You gave him a threatening glare. "Talk more and I will hit you with a glass bottle."
"See that— You've already proved my point." Kaveh huffed and sat back.
"Shut up and drink up the alcohol Kaveh or you are paying for it. Don't tell me you are a lightweight or cannot tolerate alcohol." You said with a smirk on your face.
Kaveh was slightly agitated by that. "Of course not! I can drink more than you."
"Prove it."
"I'll do it." Kaveh said boldly, looking into your eyes. You give him a smug look.
And so began the drinking contest between you and Kaveh. The deal was that the loser would pay for the drinks while Kazuha sat between them as a referee.
The bartender brought over many bottles of Alcohol as you both began chugging down the drinks. Kaveh had a rough start up while you were already tipsy and drunk so you didn't care.
"What's the matter, can't drink anymore?" You ask as you finished drinking your sixth glass in the challenge while Kaveh was still on his third glass.
His face went completely red and his eyes were showing drowsiness. You were right, he was indeed a LIGHTWEIGHT!
"S-Shut..u...up..." He managed to mumble out as he forcefully poured his fourth glass. Kazuha kept insisting him to not drink if he cannot.
Soon the other customers in the tavern noticed your's and Kaveh's commotion there and began the intense cheering. Some supported Kaveh while most kept cheering you on to drink.
When Kaveh was on his sixth glass, you were already on your twelfth glass. You had to appreciate Kaveh's determination to drink despite being completely unconscious about his surrounding.
As Kaveh was about to pour his seventh glass, Kazuha held his hand and began dragging the bottle away.
"Ka..— KAZUHA.. give me....I cannot...lose.." Kaveh said as his drowsiness completely took him over and he fell asleep on the table.
Kazuha sighed in relief. He then also noticed how you were also asleep on the table.
FROM THE CORNER OF THE TAVERN:
"Yelan, I cannot believe the two of them just had a drinking contest." Yanfei said as she looked at the two.
Yelan laughed. "It's entertaining. Two architects challenging each other to a drinking contest."
Yanfei immediately turned around and looked at Yelan with an surprised look. "Are you sure that they won't get into a fight?"
"Of course not. I did some background digging on Kaveh to prevent anything like the past from happening again to her."
"..and?"
Yelan picked her drink up and took a sip. "I felt like I was reading about Y/n. They both are just too similar in all ways. From the bickering habit to being serious with work."
"That...doesn't help at all. They still would argue and bicker at the smallest matters." Yanfei said as she face palmed.
"Don't worry, I don't think Y/n would make a mistake twice. Some where deep in me, I wish that they actually worked out..." Yelan said as she looked at her reflection on the drink.
Yanfei sigh in approval. "I too wish she continues to be happy like she is with that guy. Someone whom she would have common interests with and could discuss her interests."

a/n : In the end both, Y/n and Kaveh did not pay for the drinks. Yelan paid for it because they were knocked out.
