(Haiii! How are y'all? So I've decided to make my birthday a part of this chapter as this episode was released the same day as my birthday. Anyway, hope y'all enjoy!)
I yawn as I eventually wake up from my dreamland. I sit up and look around but Sonic is no where to be seen. I look around and find a note on a table not too far away. I jump out the hammock and pick up the note. It reads
Hey Laika,
If you are wandering where I am I just went to visit Tails. You're welcome to come round if you like. Love Sonic
xxx
Hmm, I haven't been round to Tails' house in a while. I decide to get ready and head over. Once I arrive I meekly push the door open to find everything dark.
"Sonic, Tails? Hello?" I call although I get no response. I walk over to switch the light on and when I do the whole gang jumps up and yells,
"SURPISE!!!"
I gasp as I turn around abruptly to see everything decorated and the gang grinning.
"Oh my gosh! You guys didn't have to do this!" I laugh happily.
"Course we did. It is your birthday after all." Sonic says, slinging an arm around my shoulder. After the whole temple fiasco, me and Sonic have grown..... closer, let's say.
"It's also your first time celebrating with us!" Amy smiles.
"Aw, Thanks you guys." I smile.
"So, what do you wanna do first?" Sonic asks.
"Hmm, how about we just head to Meh Burger?" I suggest. Everyone agrees.
I then suddenly jump on Sonic's back and he stumbles, holding my legs to make sure I don't fall.
"Onwards Hedgehog!" I laugh, pointing forwards.
"Whatever you say, Princess." He rolls his eyes playfully and we all head to Meh Burger.
(Time Skip)
Me, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks are sitting at a table. Sonic, Knuckles and Sticks are eating burgers and Me and Amy just settle for a chili dog. Orbot and Cubot suddenly come up to us.
"Hey, dudes!" Cubot waves.
"What are you two doing here?" Sonic asks.
"We're hoping for service, despite the fact that we have neither shoes nor shirt."
"What's Eggman up to?" I raise a brow.
"Aw, we're done with Eggman! I swear!" Cubot says.
"We'll prove it! By revealing something Eggman wouldn't want you to know!" Orbit adds. Cubot begins to recite a list.
"Yeah, uh, let's see... He sleeps with an evil night light, he sings in the shower, there's a hole in the lair's defenses below the-"
"Stop." Sonic raises a hand.
"HE'S BALD!"
"They're telling the truth. I knew about that hole in the lair's defenses." Sonic says.
"And I knew he was bald." Knuckles adds. I shake my head.
"Alright, you guys can stay."
"Yes!" Cubot cheers.
"So, who's up for charades?" Orbot holds up three fingers and makes a chopping motion on his arm.
"Oh, that reminds me, I gotta chop my arm off!" Sonic runs off.
"Sonic, you forgot your axe!" Amy picks up a pepper dispenser and runs after Sonic.
"I have to go build traps for when you ultimately betray us all." Sticks runs off.
"Yeah I have to go, um, take a shower." I think of a lame excuse and run off.
"Sorry, guys, I've gotta go think of an excuse not to hang out with you." Knuckles runs off, leaving Orbot and Cubot to stare at Tails.
"Uh-oh."
(Time Skip)
Me and the rest of the gang are sitting at a table, drinking milkshakes. Cubot and Orbot come running up again.
"An evil virus is taking control of Eggman's lair, and he's about to destroy the entire world!" Cubot yells.
"And why should we believe you?" Sticks asks.
Cubot points up at Dr. Eggman, who is attempting to escape from a horde of Bee Bots in his Eggmobile.
"That'll work."
We jump into action as Eggman lands the Eggmobile. The Doctor emerges from the hovercraft and attempts to hide behind Sonic. The swarm of Bee Bots draws closer, and Sonic attempts to hit them with a Homing Attack. We begin fighting off the Bee Bots, who have begun a full-on assault.
"How many of these things are there?" Sonic asks.
"Too many! We need to go directly after the virus." Eggman says.
"You mean like a cyber attack?" Amy asks.
"I can do that from my computer! Hold them off as long as you can!"
Me, Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, and Sticks continue to fight the Bee Bots as Tails, Dr. Eggman, Orbot, and Cubot run into Tails' Workshop.
"Yeah, and no slacking! I'll be back to check on you when the battle's over!" Cubot says.
Inside the workshop, Tails opens the computer. A loud pinging sound is heard.
"Ooh! I've got mail!" Tails exclaims.
"And you're the smart one." Eggman says.
"It's no good! I can't neutralize the virus from outside your firewall!" Tails explains.
"We need to get inside the computer. But there's no way to do that!"
"There is, if you have an artificial brain!"
Orbot and Cubot jump back in surprise.
"They're artificial, but they don't have a brain between them." Eggman says.

Outside, We are fending off the Bee Bots. Back in the workshop, Orbot and Cubot are hooked up to Tails' computer.
"Is this massage Swedish or deep-circuit?" An electric shock goes through Cubot, causing him to twitch.
"Ooh, shiatsu!" Cubot passes out as Tails transfers the two robots' brains into the digital world. Tails' computer screen displays several wireframes and other digital imagery, and pixellated versions of Orbot and Cubot fall down from the sky into a pixellated landscape.
"Cubot, might I say, you look dashing in sixteen-bit!" Orbot says.
"Actually, it's seventeen-bit!" A large robotic fish resembling a Chopper comes up to Cubot and gnashes its teeth. Orbot and Cubot run away from the robot, which chases after them, continuing to gnash its teeth.
Outside, we attempting to fight the Bee Bots. Knuckles punches one of the robotic insects, smashing it to pieces.
"Next time, you should "bee" more careful!" Knuckles says.
"That wasn't funny the first sixty-seven times you said it." I say, swing a crab bit into a tree.
"Next time, he should "crab" more careful!"
"Okay, now you're just trying to annoy me."
Back in the digital world, Orbot and Cubot are running through the digital landscape and come across a digital version of Tails' Plane.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Orbot asks.
"Yeah, what if the Princess is in another castle?"
"Get in the plane!"
Orbot pulls Cubot into the digital plane, and it takes off. Back in the real world, Tails' Plane also takes off. Orbot and Cubot make the digital plane do a barrel roll, which causes the plane to do the same in the real world. The plane flies back down towards Tails' Workshop, nearly avoiding running into Knuckles and Amy. Orbot and Cubot do another barrel roll, causing the real plane to knock Sticks out of a tree. In the digital world, Orbot and Cubot crash the plane into a tree, causing it to explode in a cloud of smoke. The two fall out of the plane, collect themselves, and continue down the path. They enter a digital arcade, which has a bright red button in the center of the room.
"Button!"
Orbot presses the button, causing Burnbot to activate its jet boosters and fly off into the sky. Large brick walls appear around Orbot and Cubot and begin closing in. The duo tries to push the walls away, but to no avail. Back in the real world, Orbot and Cubot's bodies start to twitch as Burnbot lands in front of the gang. Cubot hops up and down on the button, causing Burnbot to fire lasers from its eyes. As the walls are about to close in on Orbot and Cubot, the two dejectedly attempt to push the walls one final time.
"Any last words, friend?" Orbot asks.
"Yes!" Cubot says. "Up-up-down-down-left-right-left-right-B-A-start!"
A beeping sound is heard, and the floor beneath Orbot and Cubot disappears, dropping the two into the area where Nominatus is stationed. Nominatus laughs maniacally as a burst of flame appears behind him, and gets into a fighting pose.
"I ain't fightin' him!" Cubot backs away.
"Neither am I!"
Nominatus laughs once again and beckons for the robots to face him.
"Rock-Donut-Thursday?" Cubot suggests.
"Rock, donut, Thursday, shoot!" Cubot makes another "O" shape with his fingers, while Orbot displays an open palm.
"I win! Donuts are half-price on Thursday!" Cubot says.
Nominatus drops his fighting stance and looks on in confusion, a speech bubble with an upside-down question mark and exclamation mark appearing beside his head.
"No, the donut store's closed on Thursday!" Orbot retaliates.
Nominatus continues his confusion, with another speech bubble with hand performing the "Thursday" sign popping up next to him, followed by a hand doing the "donut" sign.
"This game... It makes no sense!"
Back in the real world, a swarm of Bee Bots attempts to surround Sonic, but the hedgehog dashes out of the way. The swarm begins to circle around Sonic, trapping him.
"Rock, donut, Thursday, shoot!" Orbot and Cubot extend their hands again, with Orbot performing the "rock" sign while Cubot performs the "Thursday" sign.
"Rock smashes Thursday!" Orbot says.
"You can't use Thursday! It's not an object!" Nominatus yells.
"Ooh, nice move! But you forgot about Leap Year!" Cubot says.
Nominatus starts to glitch. "Logical reasoning impossible... Game incredibly stupid... Too stupid... Fatal error..." Numerous speech bubbles appear as Nominatus' head explodes. All the robots attacking Tails' Workshop deactivate and fall to the ground. Dr. Eggman and Tails cry out in joy and hug each other, but realize what they are doing, stop, and walk away awkwardly whistling. Orbot regains consciousness and gets up.
"Once again, I've led us to victory!"
"Hey! There's no "I" in "multiplayer"!
Tails, the Doctor, and the two robots emerge from the workshop, coming face-to-face with the rest of us. Eggman crosses his arms.
"So, I guess we should fight?" He suggests.
"Eh, I'm all fight-ed out." Sonic says.
"Me too. I'm going home to prepare a new diabolical plan while you give me a sponge bath!"
Eggman points at Orbot and Cubot, who huddle together and shudder in disgust.
Eggman turns back to Sonic.
"As for you, I will destroy you! Mmm... Let's see..." He pulls out a black and red schedule book with his logo on it.
"How about next week? Does next week work for you?"
Sonic is looking at a blue notepad that is shaped like his head.
"Yeah, I'm open."
"Great! Destroy you then." Dr. Eggman boards the Eggmobile and takes off. Orbot and Cubot grab onto the bottom of the hovercraft, and the three of them fly off.
(Time Skip)
I walk into the shack with a few presents. Amy got me perfume, Knuckles gave me a coconut, Tails gave me this gadget I can play games on and Sticks gave me this... weird shaped twig? I mean it's something.
Sonic turns to me as I walk in.
"A few presents, huh?" Sonic asks.
"Yeah. Not sure what this is though." I hold up the weird shaped twig Sticks gave me. Sonic chuckles.
"Well, I have my own present." He stands up. I raise a brow.
"Close your eyes." He says. I close them and soon feel something cold being put around my neck.
"Ok, now you can open."
I look down and see a beautiful necklace in my favourite colour.

I gasp as I realise it to be the same necklace I saw once in the village.
"I remember you saying how pretty it was so I thought I would give it to you as a gift for your birthday." Sonic smiles.
I smile and pull him into a hug.
"Thank you so much!" Sonic smiles.
"Happy birthday, Laika."
