What the hell?
My phone started ringing.
Ah.
This must be Mari.
*Phone Call with Marionette*
"Hey Mally."
"Hey Mari. How are you?"
"Not good. I'm exhausted. The beds here are terrible. At least the food is decent. I've mostly been eating snacks. I've been drinking a lot too."
"Why'd you lie to dad?"
"I'm worrying him enough. He knows I'm lying I bet."
"Yeah. He kinda does. Oh I saw Raven today."
"Oh god. How is he?"
"He's fine. He's worried about you."
"Don't lie to make me feel better. J-just don't do that."
"MJ...I'm not lying. He's really worried."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I have his number. I thought, you'd like to at least tell him something."
"Y-you have his number?"
"Yeah. You wanna talk to him right?"
"A bit yeah."
"Alright. Then hang up with me and call him. Do you have anything to write on?"
"No. Why?"
"I'm gonna tell you his number."
*Malakai says Raven's number*
"Got it?"
"Yeah. I-I actually want to talk to you for a bit."
"Okay. What's wrong?"
"I'm miserable here. I-I-I'm so fucking tired. Mal I just wanna sleep for 8 hours like, a normal person."
"Hug a pillow and think it's Zed."
"I hate the fact you just suggested that."
"What? Don't act like, you're not trying to do that."
"I'm actually not."
"Go call him. You know you want to."
"Ugh. Yeah...y-you're right."
"Call him then go to sleep. Love you."
"Love you too."

Marionette's POV
I hung up then called Raven.
*Phone Call with Raven*
"Hello? Who is this?"
"H-hey. It's Marionette."
"Oh! Hey! How are you?"
"I'm tired of being asked that. Everyone here has asked me that."
"Oh. I'm sorry then."
"You're good. So...you're worried about me?"
"Yeah. I really am. I also heard, you're scared of men now. Is that true?"
"Jesus Christ...did he seriously tell you that? Yeah. It's true. Why?"
"Just wondering."
"I've gotta go. It's time for bed. I'll talk to you some other time."
*End of Phone Call*
I stood up and dragged myself back to my room. I laid down on my uncomfortable bed.
Why is he worried?
He's gotta be just doing this to boost his ego.
Yeah.

I didn't sleep again that night. When I went home, I ran up to my room. I showered for a while. When I was done, I got out and got dressed. I walked downstairs. I saw Malakai and Roxana setting the table.
"Hey."
"H-hi."
When I went back to school, I kept to myself.
"Hey! You're back!"
I looked over my shoulder.
"Hey Zed."
"Oh shit. I probably just scared you."
I shook my head.
"It's fine. You didn't. Just...don't get offended."
I shut my locker door. I started walking away.
"Hey! Wait up!"
I didn't stop. I was pulled into an empty classroom. I started shaking.
"Hey! W-what was that for?!"
I felt hands going around my neck. I started trying to pull the hands away from me.
