With a cold drink for Ye Yao in one hand and the atlas in the other, Lu Xun walks towards the small balcony where Ye Yao is resting.
He will not help that man to hide the evidence from himself. Only when Ye Yao is alerted can he be ruthless when confronted by the man who knows no better.
What if Ye Yao is ignorant and falls prey to his rhetoric again?
He could not expose Ye Yao to such unknown risks just to make himself look good.

Ye Yao lounges on a lounger watching the birds flying outside the window, listening to the sound of Lu Xun's footsteps coming closer and closer.
The wall of the still cold glass touched his cheek, and Ye Yao reached out to press the mischievous hand down, looking up.
The palm of his hand is pressed against the back of his hand, and Lu Xun flinches slightly.
"You used to ...... not be so direct." Lu Xun said.
When he used to put water on Ye Yao's face, Ye Yao would just take the water and when he was in a good mood, he would slap him jokingly, without touching his hand.

Ye Yao doesn't deny Lu Xun's claim that in high school Lu Xun was indeed known as a cool, high school boy, not interested in such physical needs.
It was later, when he was at university, that he and Lu Xun went to the bathhouse together to scrub, and Lu Xun started to get into the swing of things.
It was he who started Lu Xun's desire and need for this, but Lu Xun knew nothing about it in high school.
Ye Yao couldn't just say that Lu Xun had learnt the pictures to practice with him, so he had to soften his voice to persuade Lu Xun "Look, you're over thirty, you're an energetic male, it's normal to read books like this, isn't it? Even if you're looking for someone to start a family because of it, it's normal."
"Normal? I don't think so." Lu Xun, who was standing, looked at Ye Yao with half-lidded eyes. He noticed that Ye Yao didn't think he was looking for someone outside and his voice became colder, "I don't need to find someone else to vent my desires."
Ye Yao is silent as he remembers the days of his former friends.
As a best friend, Lu Xun wouldn't let him fall in love and would chase away anyone who tried to get close to him. Lu Xun himself adopted the same criteria, banishing all those who wanted to get close to him, leaving him alone.
Lu Xun does not accept anyone to come between them as long as they are one-on-one.

Realising that his tone was perhaps too aggressive, Lu Xun took a deep breath: " Ye Yao, I don't put you first, and you don't have to do the same to me. You don't have a date and I don't have a date either, that's only fair. If I ever find someone outside in the future, you can stop giving me face."
Ye Yao's heart was moved.
Lu Xun's words are entirely from his point of view, and Lu Xun could not have said them if he had been a little selfish.

If he ever neglects Ye Yao again, I'm sure Ye Yao will gradually realise that it's not worth it and break off with him.

As Ye Yao's best friend, he has no problem being Ye Yao's human cuddler for as long as Ye Yao wants.

Lu Xun's mind flashed with suspicion when the bathroom door snapped open and Ye Yao came out of it, immediately diverting Lu Xun's attention.
Ye Yao smells so good after the bath.
Ye Yao is going to sleep with him again.
Ye Yao's mouth is so soft.
The blood flows faster, and Lu Xun lies in bed with Ye Yao again as if nothing had happened.
After a bedtime chat with Ye Yao, the bedroom light is switched off, leaving the room dimly lit by a faint nightlight.
The beds are soft and fragrant, the rooms are quiet, and it's a great place to sleep, but Lu Xun doesn't feel the slightest bit sleepy.
He waited in the darkness, and after a while Ye Yao, who seemed to have formed the habit of sleeping with a cuddle pillow when he was growing up, rolled over on his side.
There was still a little distance between them and Lu Xun moved towards Ye Yao and was able to get on top of him as he wished.
Feeling the heat, Ye Yao leans over and buries herself in Lu Xun's arms.

Lu Xun's eyes dropped and he stared unblinkingly at Ye Yao's lips for a long, long time before he was compelled to slowly reach out his hand.
Did he feel wrong this morning and it wasn't actually that soft?
He then touches it.
...... Ye Yao's lips are so soft.
After an unknown period of time, Ye Yao, who had been quiet, moved, and Lu Xun's whole body stiffened, stopping his movements.
Ye Yao seems to have spotted something on his lips in his sleep, and he reaches out and takes Lu Xun's finger in his hand.
His hand will be removed, I think.
As Lu Xun thought this, he saw his hand being moved to his cheek.
The palm brushed against the warm flesh of his cheek.
The person who caught him did not repel him, rubbing gently against him with dependence and affection.
In that moment, Lu Xun's mind went blank and his heart felt like it had been struck by lightning.
