A little later, Ryujin got back and colored with Nako again.
"Nako-chan~ come and take a bath now please" they heard, Nako then stood up and cleaned up her table, putting the crayons away.
Chaeryeong entered the room and Ryujin gulped, Chaeryeong's hair was in a bun and Ryujin thought that Chaeryeong looked really beautiful especially that she was already wearing her specs.
"Time for bath already Nako~" Chaeryeong said
"Nae" Nako replied and then got some clothes she wanted to wear, she headed off with Chaeryeong in the bathroom.
Of course Ryujin just stayed out of the bathroom, cleaning up the coloring books and crayons.
She then heard the two talking to each other but in Japanese.
"I saw Ryujinnie's phone"
"Really? what did you saw there?" Chaeryeong asked as she rubs soap along the kids' arms, she was currently bathing the kid in the bathtub
"It was a picture of the two of you" Nako said
"Us?"
"Mhm, it was back then when you were in performing class, I remembered that you told me you and Ryujinnie became dance partners"
"Yeah we did" Chaeryeong said and chuckled
"You told me that you used to like Ryujinnie, what happened?" Nako asked, she wondered why both of her aunts didn't end up together. Chaeyeon would always talk about the two since Nako would always be curious.
"Well, at that time, your Aunt Ryujin was dating someone else" Chaeryeong said and bitterly smiled at the kid.
"Who?" Nako asked, Chaeryeong was already washing her hair and she kept playing with the toys in the bathtub
"Remember your Aunt Lia?" Chaeryeong asked and Nako just hummed
"She used to be your Aunt Ryujin's girlfriend" Chaeryeong said sadly
"But isn't she Yeddeongie's wife already? Mama told me that they have a child now" Nako said as she played with the rubber ducky on the bathtub (a gift from Yena lol)
"Things didn't end up well for your Aunt Ryujin and Aunt Lia but they did became friends again" Chaeryeong said
"Then why didn't you confess to Ryujinnie yet?" Nako asked
"I didn't confess to her because..... I'm afraid she still likes your Aunt Lia" Chaeryeong said and then rinses off the shampoo from Nako's hair
"But... that can't happen, Lia-yah is married already" Nako said and looked at Chaeryeong, she noticed how Chaeryeong was already teary eyed.
Chaeryeong would always talk to Nako how she and Ryujin were when they were in highschool and senior high.
"Nako-chan, sometimes, when a person loves someone, even if that person she loves gets married, they can still have feelings for them" Chaeryeong said and Nako just nodded
"Okay... time to dry you off" Chaeryeong said and then lifted Nako out of the bathtub and then dried her off with the towel.
"But Chaeryeongiee, how did you felt when Ryujinnie dated Lia-yah?" Nako asked
"Of course I got sad, but I was happy for your Aunt Ryujin, she was able to date the girl she likes" Chaeryeong said, she then remembered that time
Flashback......
Chaeryeong was currently getting her things from her locker, she was just waiting for Ryujin to get back since she said they would go back to the dorm together
"Ryeong!" she heard, she turned her head and smiled, it was Ryujin, running towards her excitedly
"I'm guessing something nice came up, what is it?" Chaeryeong asked and chuckled, she closed her locker right after.
"I asked Lia out and she finally said yes!" Ryujin said with a big smile. Chaeryeong's heart suddenly shattered.
"Oh.... well, that's great Ryujin" Chaeryeong said and just let out a smile
"I know right?! I've been a coward for not telling her I like her and then I got this, she said yes for me to have a date with her" Ryujin said and smiled happily
Yeah, I'm a coward too
"So, heading back to the dorm?" Chaeryeong asked
"Well actually, the date is today Ryeong, I'm sorry if I can't walk with you back to the dorm right now" Ryujin said and scratched the back of her neck
"Ah really? its okay, I'll go meet up with Yujin at the dorm, have fun with your date" Chaeryeong said
"Yeah, well, thank you, because of you I was able to tell my feelings to Lia and finally we can date now" Ryujin said and hugged Chaeryeong
"Y-you're welcome Ryuddaeng" Chaeryeong said and just hugged the other girl back.
She went off to the dorm, fighting back her tears. She got inside and good thing no one was there yet, she went to her room and closed the door. As soon as she got to her bed, she cried her heart out. She blamed herself for not at least telling Ryujin how she feels about her.
"You're such a coward Chaeryeong" she said to herself, she hugged her legs close to her chest and continued to cry.
She never thought it would reach to this, she knew she and Ryujin will slowly drift apart and then would spend less time with each other.
Later on, she heard someone entering the room, she hoped it wasn't Ryujin.
"Unnie?" yep, it definitely not Ryujin. She looked up and saw Yujin, Ryujin's sister and their dormmate as well.
"Why are you crying?" Yujin asked worriedly, she sat beside the older.
"It's nothing, just stressing out again" Chaeryeong said and inhaled deeply.
"You know Yujin, at least tell me when- Chaeryeong?" Natty got cut off when she saw her close friend crying.
"Poor bubba, what's wrong?" Natty asked worriedly, she didn't hesitate to hug the other girl.
"Its nothing, I'm just stressing out again" Chaeryeong said and bitterly chuckled.
"I know when you're stressing out or not Chae" Natty said and looked at Chaeryeong, Chaeryeong's eyes could tell, it was showing something else, a tear fell onto her cheek again. Knowing what was wrong, Natty asked Yujin to go out of the room first.
"Yujin, is it okay if you go and hang out with Yuri first at the living room, me and Chaeryeong are just going to have a talk" Natty said, Yujin understood so she left the room as she locked the door from inside.
"So... what happened?" Natty asked, Chaeryeong continued to cry as Natty held her in her arms
"She went out with her huh?" Natty asked and Chaeryeong nodded. She knew about Chaeryeong's crush on Ryujin, she also knew about Ryujin liking on Lia.
"I'm so sorry Chae" Natty said
"Its not your fault, at least you got someone you like" Chaeryeong said, she wiped off her tears.
"Well, Somi did tried to ask me out a few times" Natty said, she wanted to brighten up the mood.
"Yeah.... well, I guess I won't be staying here anymore" Chaeryeong said and sighed
"Why?" Natty asked
"Well, as much as I like Ryujin.."
"You love her you idiot" Natty said and chuckled
"Whatever you say, well I don't want to be seeing her that much, knowing that she's going out with Lia unnie" Chaeryeong said
"Where will you stay then?" Natty asked
"At Chaeyeon unnie's, I'll try to talk to her and if she allows me to stay wth her then I guess I'll stay there" Chaeryeong said and Natty just nodded
Ever since that day, Chaeryeong really tried hard to forget about Ryujin but it was impossible. She would always remember Ryujin because her sister in law Sakura was with Chaeyeon always.
End of flashback.....
"Hmm.. I hope you stay happy" Nako said
"I will" Chaeryeong said and chuckled
She dressed the little girl up and then went out of the bathroom with her. She let Nako play a little first before it was time for her nap.
She changed into some new clothes first since the first pair got wet already.
"Nako-chan, time for nap" Chaeryeong called for the kid
"Can you sleep beside me Chaeryeongiee?" Nako asked and pouted
"Sure" Chaeryeong said and chuckled.
Both of them went to Chaeyeon and Sakura's room since the two adults would always let Chaeryeong sleep there if they were away for work.
Chaeryeong placed Nako gently on the bed and then went beside her.
"Can we go to the park later Chaeryeongiee?" Nako asked
"Mhm, we can" Chaeryeong said, she hummed a song to the kid to make her fall asleep, it did work but then, she also fell asleep with Nako beside her. They slept for a few hours
