After the tournament concluded, all students were told to go back to class, and in there, Aoi and Bakugo were under supervision to avoid them going back to fighting each other. Aizawa entered the room and looked at all of the students for a moment.
"So classes tomorrow and the day after will be suspended for you guys to rest and recover from injuries and overall strength," Aizawa started. "Based on the performance today, I do believe you guys will receive agency offers."
"Mister Aizawa, do you think our positions on the hero class are safe?" Asked Aikou
"What do you mean?"
"A student told us that the sports festival also functioned as a way of getting more students to the hero course based on performance since there are several requests to transfer," answered Uraraka
Everybody agreed to the sentence and looked at Aizawa
Aizawa just let out a short sigh. "I doubt that any of you will be taken out of the hero course. You shall not worry."
Everybody cheered after hearing those words since they had nothing to fear anymore
"I am still not done talking!" Aizawa stated activating is quirk
All students were now back in their seats as if nothing had happened
"Due to the festival, we understand that you are all exhausted, so you may all leave the facilities early, but I do want several students to stay behind," Aizawa continued and then looked at Bakugo and Aoi. "Bakugo... Kuro, you two shall stay a little longer."
Most of the students were not surprised and started getting ready to leave
"Aoi," Aikou whispered, "I'll wait for you down the hall, good luck" Aikou smiled and left
Meanwhile, Aoi and Bakugo stayed in class; by mere sight, one could easily see how Bakugo had the urge to scream and fight while Aoi seemed unpleased.
"I want to make this clear... I was notified of your behavior after the battle and it was evident you both don't know how to contain your emotions, so if you both get in a non-professional confrontation and cause me any more trouble there will be consequences."
"Tsk... he was the one that started being aggressive after the battle!" Aoi started
"You gave up! How was I supposed to not get angry over your incompetence?!" Bakugo replied
"SILENCE!" Aizawa stated to make both calm down, "I will not repeat myself again, you both shall not fight unless it is under professional supervision or educational purposes. Is that clear?"
"Yes" they both replied
"You shall leave" Aizawa said, making both get their stuff and start to walk out. "I was not referring to you Kuro"
Aoi stood there and got a little angry but decided to just stand at the entrance and saw Bakugo leave
"Your performance today was also criticizable, you did well throughout the festival until you reached the battle tournament, it may not have been obvious to many, but your intentions to severely hurt your opponents were not discrete to me."
"I had no intention to kill anybody if that is what you are implying," Aoi answered with a serious expression.
"Miss Kuro, you need to understand that not everyone is your enemy, and if those types of behaviors become common, I will have no choice but to let you out of the hero course."
"What?!" Aoi answered surprised
"Your incident is no excuse to hurt people, if you let your emotions take over you, those emotions will endanger the rest" Aizawa answered with a serious tone.
"I am not using my incident as an excuse..." Aoi answered with a small knot on her throat that kept her from raging against him
"You are using it as your source of rage, you threatened Todoroki, and almost crushed Bakugo yet those behaviors were not present with Iida and Kaminari, so I believe you felt inferior to them and tried just to let yourself out to hide your real feeling."
"Mister Aizawa, I... I..." Aoi just stood there and gave no response to him "(I cant tell him... if I do maybe he will actually force me out o the hero course)" She stood there in silence
Aizawa looked at her and closed his eyes for a moment. "Miss Kuro you need to understand that you should not answer back all the time, take this as a warning, fix your attitude."
"How come you don't scold Bakugo after all he did today as well?!" Aoi answered angrily "HE WAS THE ONE WHO STARTED ALL OF THE FIGHTS! AND HE ALSO WAS INCREDIBLY AGGRESSIVE ON THE RACE!!"
"MISS KURO! This is not about Bakugo its about you" Aizawa answered
Aoi stayed quiet again while looking at the floor angrily, both hands turning to fists to train and contain herself.
"If you ever need to talk about something, feel free to talk to me, but whenever I am telling you something I want you to hear and understand, I am not here to be your father, I am here to be your teacher, and I must make sure you go down the right path, understood?"
Aoi nodded
"You may leave now," Aizawa said before Aoi left without saying a word
Aoi started walking down the hall and saw Aikou with her phone waiting for her, she had a bright smile on her face and showed pure happiness. Aoi as soon as she saw her, she felt calm, and her smile ended up making her smile as well. She walked up to her and tried to peek at her phone.
"Why are you smiling so much?" Aoi asked
"My dad just texted me and told me he was so proud of me! He is still out of town but watched me fight, and well I am so happy" Aikou answered with a big blush on her face
Aoi just smiled at her "I am so happy for you" she said while they both started to exit U.A
"Thanks! Also, you did great today! I knew you could do it... but isnt your body in so much pain right now? I thought that you were close to your limit yet you did so much in the last battle" Aikou asked with a concerned look "since when can you control so much?"
"I don't know... while I was there, I felt like I could dominate everything, I could feel my limbs on fire, but I guess the adrenaline made me not care" Aoi answered while looking at her bandages.
"Well, I think that you-" Aikou started
"MY DARLING~" interrupted a voice that sounded rather sensual and familiar
Both looked at the voice and noticed a woman with long wavy pink hair opening her arms as if to hug Aikou.
"Mom?!" Aikou asked with her eyes brighter than ever "I can't believe you are here! I thought you had business to do!" she commented while her eyes started showing a little sparkle due to her happiness
"Nonsense, how could I miss my baby girl's special day?" answered Aikou's mother
"Hello miss Rei" said Aoi and noticed how she got a serious look in response to hearing her
"Hello Kuro... Anyway, I came to pick you up so we can have a day to celebrate~" continued Aizou Rei, famous clothing and makeup model, married to pro hero Gunpoint
"Oh sure! But, can Aoi come? I wanted to celebrate with her" answered Aikou while looking at Aoi for a reaction. However, she was looking at Aizou since she was still looking at her with a serious look as if trying to force her to say no with sight alone until she noticed she was waiting for a response from her.
"Oh no, don't worry, go and have a mother-daughter day," Aoi answered with a smile "After all I am aware that you don't spend a lot of time together..." Aoi tried to remark that last part and Aizou clearly got pissed but tried not to make a scene about it
"oh, ok then, then I guess I will-" started Aikou, but she was grabbed by Aizou who started walking away
"Ah~ we should go to that restaurant you really like, I heard there is a new plate on the menu, oh and maybe since there are cameras, we can go ahead and start giving you some fame"
The two pink-haired girls walked away while Aoi was just standing there "She still hates me... never understood why tho, she made it clearer today" she let out a sigh and noticed that at a distance Bakugo was walking home, she looked around and then tried to catch up with him
"Hey you!" Aoi said making Bakugo stop walking and look back at her with an angry look "I am not here to fight, I just-"
"You really think I wanted to win like that? You think winning like this means anything?" he started with an angry tone
"If you really want to fight that bad again then-"
"I don't want to fight you, you are weak... I want to fight the person who was at the arena"
"Huh? What do you..."
"The one at the arena was determined to fight giving their all, you on the other hand decided just to give up"
"I don't under... (h£ m£an§ m£~)" once Aoi heard the other voice, she paralyzed
Bakugo still angry decided to just walk away "whenever she is ready to fight, I'll fight, but I won't go against people who still doubt themselves on everything."
Aoi just stood there, all she wanted was to rechallenge him in the future, but all she got was more questions, she was now scared that the so called awakening was getting over her. She needed answers and only knew one person who could give them to her. She grabbed the silver medal hanging over her neck and looked at it for some seconds. It is true she got far, but how far did she go by herself? She tightened her grip over the medal and started to walk out. She avoided as many people as possible and tried to keep her mind blank.

Aoi arrived home and noticed that the house was pretty quiet, she went up to the kitchen and found a cake that said 'congrats baby blue!' on the top and a piece of paper on the side.
"Congratulations on winning sweetie, I had to leave since I was requested on some things regarding the shop, I took the maid with me, and we should be back by tomorrow morning, I hope you like this cake I made for you
-Love Grandma"
Aoi took a piece of cake and just sat at the living room so she could watch the rest of the sports festival, letting her be able to watch some of the fights of the third years.
Hours passed and nighttime arrived, Aoi was almost asleep on the sofa watching the television when her phone started vibrating, making her fully wake up and take a glance at the notifications. And surprisingly, a message from Shigaraki was on her lock screen. Surprised she scrubbed her eyes and looked at the message again and then stood up and looked around just to make sure nobody was around her so that she could run outside.
-(shit shit shit shit shit shit shit!!!! Why would he want me to go now? It is really late)- Aoi stated while running, tripping most of the way
Her face started blushing and she got a little nervous -(Aaaah I hope he congratulates me for winning, I hope he noticed that I am a valuable asset on his team, and maybe he will reward me!!)- she thought while getting excited as she was getting close to the bar
Some time passed and she arrived to the bar panting as if she had just ran a marathon.
"You are late" said Shigaraki while seeing her
"I live 30 minutes away from here using the train and I forgot my wallet on the house so I came running and had to use my quirk to try and get faster, I apologize" she said while gasping for air "So, what is the urgent thing you wanted to talk about?"
"I want you to give me information on the guy you fought in the finale" Shigaraki answered.
"Huh?" Aoi looked at him, confused
"His strength and his anger would be of great use for us, I want you to give me information about him"
Aoi stood there, she was surprised. Not only did she feel dissapointed that he didn't praise her strength but felt anger that he praised Bakugo.
"if I may give my opinion, he is not suitable" Aoi started with a nervous smile to try and hide her disappointment
"I disagree, he was stronger than many, and that attitude is just perfect for a role here"
"B-but-"
"Are you doubting my decision?" Shigaraki stated with a pissed tone, despite not being able to see his expressions since he had a hand on his face, it was clear he did not like Aoi at the moment
Aoi just didn't have the guts to go against him but she was not going to let him just add a person he disliked and let him interfere.
"He is not what it seems, he is an asshole, he only wants to compete, he has no actual determination" She used as a response to try and make him forget the idea
"Quite the opposite, he showed determination to win, and won... he even defeated you, or may I recall... you gave up, it seems he is more of a fighter than you"
Anger, sadness, and many emotions started to mix up in Aoi's mind, she was not sure what to do or what to respond "(Tºld ¥ou w£ shºuld'v£ kill£d h¡m~.....) I only stopped because I started to go too far with my strength, I would've crushed him, we don't need him"
"The more you fight me about this, the more I want to just end you right here and now... all I wanted from you today is to give me details of him that can be of use for me, and if you lie, you will pay a big price"
Aoi stayed quiet for a moment and then lowered her head "as you wish..."
Kurogiri was just standing there, he never even glanced at Aoi. She felt useless, sad, angry, and it was all because she refused to hurt Bakugo. Now she felt like she should sometimes listen to that voice inside her more, and maybe then shall she be praised. Some anger once in a while wouldn't hurt anybody, according to her, it is what makes someone feel alive.
She started to talk about Bakugo with disgust but changed her tone as soon as she noticed how Shigaraki was getting pissed by her attitude. Even if she was not taken to account for what she accomplished, she still felt a little joy inside her since she was still being asked for help by Shigaraki, even if it was for information, she felt useful, but the thought of them preferring Bakugo over her, just opaqued her happiness with anger. Now she had a new declared enemy, and his name was Bakugo Katsuki.
As soon as she finished sharing all the information, she was told to get out, and nothing else was said.
She was standing outside looking at the starry night, hearing the noise of the crowd.
"I really thought he was going to congratulate me... even Kurogiri would've been fine... and now I have to walk all the way back, I should've asked them for some money for the train, wait... are there trains at this hour tho?"
She started walking back, she was not sure of what would be the league's next plan, but something was telling her that something new was going to be part of them, and it made her feel uncomfortable about it. She felt excitement, and with the combination of anger, her inner self wanted to burst out laughing to let all of her pain out since she thought that it was laughter the cure of all pain, so why not laugh out of anger?
