Chapter 10: Battle Tournament - Part 2

The first round of battles had ended, only a few were able to pass including Midoriya, Todoroki, Aoi, Iida, Aikou, Tokoyami, Kirishima, and Bakugo. Now whoever won the round would go to the semifinals, the tension was rising abruptly.

The first battle of the second round was going to start between Midoriya and Todoroki, some of the students from 1-A were already voting for Todoroki since Midoriya still had to hurt himself in order to attack, while Todoroki just proved to everybody how powerful he is.

Both students got to the area and everybody started cheering. As soon as present Mic announced the start of the battle, they both started a type of counter attack fight style. Every time Todoroki launched an ice attack, Midoriya launched an attack breaking his finger so the attack could be stopped. The wind created by their attacks was cold so all of the audience was in some way freezing.

"Midoriya wasn't even using that strength against Hakkotsu..." commented Aoi with an amazed look, it was way too much power between them too, making her feel a small sense of fear since her quirk wouldn't be efficient if there wasn't enough metal around for her to use "(If I go against Todoroki... If make one mistake... I will lose)"

"Don't they have limits?" asked Niji who was there with all of them

"Oh hey! when did you get here? how is Hakkotsu?" asked Aikou

"Oh, after my fight was done I went and looked for some candies, Hakko-chan is resting right now and she will be like that until tomorrow, she lost a great amount of skin and muscles due to the fight, but she is ok and wishes you all good luck," Niji said happily with a cute smile

"Maybe we should all visit her later" commented Aikou

"I think we should just let Hakko-chan rest, it was a hard day and as to how I saw Hakko-chan react throughout the day, I don't think she is comfortable around many people" replied Niji

They all continued watching the fight and noticed how Midoriya was running out of fingers to use and was screaming constantly in pain. Many were commenting about how Todoroki had already the strength of an average hero, or even more powerful. And after some attacks and a weird speech Todoroki used his left side creating huge flames and destruction between them, to a point in which Cementoss attempted creating walls between them to diminish the impact, but it was useless.

All of the audience felt the heat and cold combined from Todoroki's quirk, it was almost unbelievable, they were unable to see anything due to the light of the fire. It was just a big explosion. And after a lot of mess, Todoroki was announced victorious, making him the first semifinalist.

"Can't believe we are all in the same class... well it is my turn to fight" Aoi said standing up without saying anything else to anybody and ran directly to her position

After everything was fixed, Aoi and Iida got into position, but Iida was taking off the things from his legs, he showed a small expression of pain and Aoi was totally amazed since she was unaware that they were detachable, but she could understand that he was trying to give her fewer opportunities to succeed

"you know that won't help right?" asked Aoi

"I am aware... but it will give me time" Iida replied

"if you say so... I still have things in my favor, I didn't watch your fight with Hatsume but with me, it won't be easy" She started to hear the whispers from before again, making her head get a little dizzy
