I get out of the mini. I carry a sleeping Jawwad into our new flat. I know he'll have a massive fit tomorrow when he wakes up in a bed that's not his. Its nothing compared to home, but its a start. It was an open home, in Alabama. I couldn't go to California, I'd be seen in a heartbeat, so I chose a home far from everyone else
(Next morning)
"I don't like it"
"We don't exactly have a choice do we?"
"Yes" he argues "we could just go back to daddy and beah beah"

"Let's just eat breakfast for now yeah?"

"Do I have to go to school?"
"No" I say "you're not legal in this country so I have to home school you"

I leave the flat and sit on the porch. An unknown call. I let it go to voicemail. My skin begin to freeze. The hairs on my hand begin to stand. I knew I was being watched. I could always feel when I'm being watched. That's why I always woke up covered in goosebumps whenever Zayn would watch me sleep and take pictures. Unlike every person in the films, I went back in. I locked the door and left knives on the table before returning to studying

I sat on the sofa in regret. Maybe I should have stayed home. What if they're looking for us?
A knock on the door interrupted my thoughts
"Who is it?" I ask
"F.B.I"
"May I ask why you're here?"

"Marcus" I correct while letting them in "what's going on?"
"We have information about you keeping an illegal child? He's supposed to be in school" a lad who's badge read 'Spencer' says
I knew this would happen
"We need to search your home"
"Go ahead" I say "I'll go put on something decent"
I rush upstairs before he could say anything
"Jabir?" I call "I need you to hide"

I take his hand and put him in the closet "mummy I'm scared"

I throw on a robe and rush downstairs
"We heard another voice" a woman says

Some leave and some stay
"So..you love alone?" A random lad asks

I open the door and point outside. The minute they turn, I slam the door and run upstairs "Jawwad?"
"I'm fine mummy" he says coming out of the closet with a look of anger
"I'm so sorry, I didn't know that they knew we weren't legal"

"J-" there was a knock at the door. The knock was too specific. It was two knocks then a harder one. I could recognise it anywhere. It was my heart. Only he knew how it beats "get your stuff were leaving"
I quickly gather everything and we sneak out the back. When we reached the mini he got into the car without my help
"Where are we going now?"
"Wherever he can't find us"

Sorry if its a bit confusing. Basically, they move to a new home in Alabama. Its in Alabama because it was the first thing other than Texas that came to mind. Someone was watching her and reported to the F.B.I that she had a minor in her home that wasn't attending school which is very illegal. They were both aliens which means they're not from the country and could be deported...hope you enjoyed
