"Uh, hello?" [father] answered. "Hey Mr.[father], we're sorry to bother you but we need to place 2 kids as an emergency and you're our last emergency Foster parent available." The social worker said. "Give me some information." [father] went to grab something to write this down so he could relay it to [mother] when he inevitably said yes.
"They're twin 4 year olds. Their foster parents apparently left them home for a week and they just found their social workers number to call. We have no rooms in the group home and we need to place them somewhere." [father] immediately agreed to take them in and they would be there in 10 minutes.
Great. Now to tell everyone he agreed to take in some kids. "We're having a couple visitors." Is what he decided to say as he walked back in the living room. "What type of visitors?" [brother 1] asked suspiciously. "The emergency placement kind." [father] smiled innocently.
[brother 1] and [brother 2] both gave each other a look neither [father] nor [mother] could decipher. "Info." They both said. "They're 4 years old and it was a case if neglect. They're gonna give me their files when they get here." [father] explained popping back down on the couch.
"And when will they get here?" [mother] asked. There was a knock on the door and [father] opened it to see a social worker, a blonde kid, and a brunette kid. "About now." [father] called back to his family. "Hello." He greeted the social worker, wanting to save introductions for when everyone was together.
"Thank you Mr.[father], for taking them in on such short notice. I do wish I could stay a moment longer but I have to get another kid to their new foster family 5 minutes ago. Thank you again. Boys my number is in your bag if you need me."
And with that the social worker was gone and [father] was left with two 4 year olds. "Wanna come inside mates?" They glanced at each other for a moment before the blonde nodded. They were both holding hands like it was their life line so [father] decided they would probably need to share the room.
[father] stepped aside and they walked in. He led them to the living room where hamilton was in the process of being paused. "Wait." The brunette spoke up. Everyone turned to him and he shy-ed in on himself. "It's the part where they introduce the Schuyler sisters." The blonde turned to the brunette who carried a sad face.
"Turn it off." He said said. "N-" The blonde cut off the brunette with a look. The [last name]s were confused. "He wants to see it." [brother 2] defended. "No he doesn'. I'was mommas favorite part, he cries for a long time when it comes on." The brunette looked sheepish.
"Sorry." He mumbled. "'s okay. I jus hate seeing you cry." The blonde said. Everyone else in the room had to try not to awe at the sight.
