"there was a boy who just entered the new chapter of his life.." mark started speaking again and because he's a good citizen, he listened carefully.

the tan male gulped as he stare at the older who's looking at the floor.

hearing this, donghyuck raised a brow. he find it familiar and it was creeping him out.
"he thought at first that the boy looked like he's around his age, maybe younger than him and the next thing he knew is that his eyes were glued to him until the boy went home and there he felt something inside that he couldn't explain"
"he wondered why his heart was beating so fast and images of the boy he saw that day smiling and enjoying himself. wanting to know the answers, he asked his father one night also sharing the sudden feelings he felt and to his shock, his father pulled him by his collar and the lines he said were then permanently imprinted on his mind.." mark stopped and released a heavy sigh.
"w-what did the father said?" the younger whispered enough for the both of them to hear. honestly donghyuck was speechless.

biting his lower lip to prevent himself from crying, donghyuck ran towards mark and gave him a tight hug.
he could never imagine how the canadian handled it all. if he was in his place he'll probably give up and just end it.

mark on the other hand didn't move. he wasn't expecting for donghyuck hug him but after a few seconds he eventually hugged him back and caressed the younger's hair, "if there's anyone that should be apologizing, it's me, i'm sorry for everything" he softly whispered.
it didn't help donghyuck though since he started crying when he heard it.
"y-you're so s-strong m-mark" he whispered back and slightly felt the older's heartbeat that was beating the same way as his own heart was.
"everything changed when he realized that denying it more will only destroy him so when his brother knocked some senses into him, he deicded to change and take the risk, face the obstacles for the person he truly loves"
renjun stopped eating and nudged jaemin's shoulders while pointing at a male who's just staring at his food looking so red.
jaemin coughed and poked donghyuck's cheeks which then startled him.
"w-what? did you say s-something?" donghyuck panicked and mentally slapped himself for spacing out again.
"hyung you're weird" chenle infront of him giggled, munching on the burger that jisung made.
"is your food bad?" the pink haired male worriedly asked and in just a matter of second a hand landed on his nape making him wince in pain.
renjun rolled his eyes, "idiot, he didn't even touch his food"
having a sadistic boyfriend is a tough one but jaemin find renjun cute when he's irritated or mad. he's like a walking warning sign.
"i-i'm sorry" donghyuck had his head down. his mind was occupied with what mark shared the other day.
"did something happen?" jaemin curiously eyes him waiting for a response but donghyuck's cheeks just burned even more and that didn't go unnoticed.
"hmm something did happen? or did something happen yesterday?" the tan widened his eyes at him. now he knows there's nowhere to run from their curiosity.
"spill the tea bestie" renjun smirked sipping the tea he bought .

of course he knows nothing, the boy wasn't there when donghyuck asked renjun and jaemin where jeno is to get mark's address. chenle was too busy with his chicken in chicken and dolphin land.
"donghyuck went to mark hyung's house yesterday" jaemin grinned throwing some teasing looks to the tan. chenle's eyes widened and turned to donghyuck who's redder than ever.
"woah! so did something happen hyung?!" he scooted closer to his hyung to hear his answers.
"i-i don't know if i'm in the right place to share but the important thing is we should never judge a book by its cover" the three of them seemed to understand his point and just replied with a nod.
"ok then, we will just wait for mark hyung to tell it to us"
they continued in eating until jeno appeared at their table wearing a smile on his face.
"nono!" both his boyfriends exclaimed making him chuckle.
"you two looks so cute i want to chain you in bed" jeno said earning a slap on the arm by renjun.

"chenle, jisung said to go the soccer field right now" jeno said and chenle immediately picked up his things and said goodbye before leaving.

to his shock, mark pulled his hand and ran outside. he didn't know if his heart is beating so fast because of the thought that he will ne skipping classes or if it's because of mark holding his hand while running away from the gate.
"w-wait!" donghyuck slowed down, his breath getting heavy, "where the fuck are you taking me?!"
"that's a secret" the canadian winked and ruffled donghyuck's hair using his free hand.
"a student council president kidnapping a student to skip school, the irony, isn't that violating school rules mister lee?" donghyuck eyed him after finally catching his breath.

the beautiful view of the see and the white sand welcomed them. donghyuck chuckled and followed mark in taking off his shoes.

donghyuck blushed hard after hearing mark saying the cute word. he furrowed his brows and slightly punched his arm, "why are we here?"
"it's almost sunset" mark pointed out instead and the tan whipped his head to the front to see the sky changing color from blue to pinkish orange.
it's always a beautiful sight where it looked like the sun and the sea are meeting with each other.
both the males slowly walked closer until their feet was met with something cold.
donghyuck was startled and looked down only to see his feet submerged in water and a stuck on sand. he let out a giggle and played with it.
he didn't notice a pair of eyes staring at him enjoying splashing the water using his toes.
"sun and sea" donghyuck lifted his head up after hearing mark's voice.
"huh?"
"it reminds me of you and me" the tan confusingly glanced at him waiting for his next words.
"the sun warms the world meanwhile the sea mostly brings coldness to those who dares to get close or touch it.." mark then turned his head towards the younger's direction, "you give comfort to the people around you donghyuck meanwhile me, i mostly bring coldness and darkness to them"
donghyuck bit his lowe lip, his heartbeat racing again.
"but the sun can give warmness to the sea to take away its coldness so that it can also give comfort to everyone..."
mark stared directly at his eyes, "just like what you did to my cold world, you gave me warmth enough for me to turn from a cold and a dark person to someone who can finally bring comfort and joy to those who wants to approach me"
"m-mark" tears rolled down to his cheeks and mark's hand went to caress it, wiping it on the process before smiling softly at the tan.
