Y/n pov
I landed on the cold, hard ground of the blood swamps, surrounded by decaying trees, corpses and with several zombies walking around the place. I looked up to so the Ingmore Sanctum towering way above the rest of the landscape. That's was where I was headed.
As I always used to do, I let the anger completely control me, destroying all of the zombies around me with my fists only before beginning my trek to the trials.
I was walking through a marsh area when suddenly an absolutely massive tentacle rises up from the ground. I immediately jumped up and into it before furiously slicing it with my blade. The tentacle wormed around and squealed as I continued to cut it up before it eventually exploded.
I landed on the floor of the swamp again before continuing to make my way forwards.
After killing a few imps, a revenant and a hell knight, I came to a gate.
"To open the gate, you must go up to your right and push the button." Hayden said as a yellow dot appeared on my HUD. I began to walk towards it but immediately, a marauder spawned Infront of me.
"I don't have fucking TIME FOR YOU!" I yelled as we ran at each other. He swung his argent battle axe as I swung my fist. We both collided with one another nearly simultaneously. His axe did nothing to me, but my fist, which I'd aimed at his head, absolutely obliterated his head in one, destroying it.
I pulled my super shotgun down and blasted any demons which spawned in as I made my way up to the button.
I pressed the green skull into its holding and heard as the gate down below me opened up. I jumped down from the ledge I was on and made my way through the gate. Immediately, I could see Maligog, and beyond that, the Ingmore Sanctum.
"There are two trials you must complete before you can face Maligog." Vega said. "One to either side."
I nodded as I made my way over towards the left trial and walked into it. As I walked through the black metal archway, the gate shut behind me, letting me know, the only way out was through, just how I liked it when I was by myself.
I began to make may way through the blood swamps, killing any Cacodemon, Arachnotron, Turret, Imp, anything which came in my way.
I'd just ripped a Cacodemon's eye out before sliding down a slope and into a new arena. Immediately, I saw red, totem buffed imps and gargoyles run at me.
"Great. A fucking Buff Totem." I said as I began to blast the imps and gargoyles to pieces with my heavy cannon. Once I'd mowed them all down, I looked over at the direction that the Totem was and saw it inside this building, surrounded by another metal cage.
"Great." I said, not having the best feeling about this.
I walked into the building as the gate shut behind me again. As I did, a portal opened at the back of the room and out ran a totem buffed marauder. Before I could react, he'd swung at me and hit my armour.
"Cunt!" I yelled as I fired a shotgun round at him. He instantly blocked it before going back on the offensive. He swung his axe at me again, but I caught it in my hands. I ripped it from him and swung it at him. He dashed back before charging me with his shield. I was sent backwards a fair bit, but nothing compared to how hard I could hit him.
I fired another shotgun round at him as he was forced to block it before instantly charging him. I grabbed him by the neck as I did so before crashing him into a wall. As I did, I headbutted his head against the wall and let go of him as he began to falter before ramming my blade up through his head, killing him.
As the marauder disappeared, the cage around the buff totem was lowered, and so I smashed it. The gate which I came in from opened up again and a hell knight ran at me. I swung my fist at him and whacked him around he head, expecting him to die to it, but no, he hit the floor and immediately leapt back up at me.
"Fucking Jesus Christ." I said as I grabbed onto his arm and swung him into a wall. As I did, I crushed his head into the wall and watched as a blue spirit hung in the air above him.
Use your plasma rifles lock on beam.
Ahsoka! I yelled into my head as I did like she said. I held the beam onto the soul for a few seconds before it exploded, sending out a shockwave as it did so.
Ahsoka, are you ok!?
I'm, dead (y/n). She replied.
Your life essence is at the Ingmore Sanctum, isn't it?
Yes it is. Please, hurry, I, I don't know how long I can hold off.
Hold off from what? I asked.
I, him! Ahsoka exclaimed as images of myself flashed through my mind.
Ahsoka, I will be there to save you soon! I yelled.
Please, for my sake, Urdak's, this realm's and our own, be quick. She begged.
I will be.
I felt as Ahsoka smiled before leaving me to fight and get as angry as possible.
I continued on my way through the swamp, decimating any demons which dared get in my way, before eventually, I came to the arena.
"If you defeat this arena, you will gain half of the shield." Vega said.
"Our scans indicate that hundreds have died trying to reach Ingmore." The intern from before said down my suit.
"I won't be joining them." I said as I stepped on the green pad and watched as tens upon tens of demons spawned in around me. I listened to their screams and rewatched that nightmare of Ahsoka being killed Infront of me and felt as the argent inside of me began to mount up to insane levels. Not as high as when I killed the icon and Sidious, but still, incredibly high.
Now! Ahsoka yelled.
I trusted her and let go of all of my argent energy out in a huge burst. I watched as hundreds of demons were evaporated again, leaving only a tyrant and a spirit buffed baron left alive.
I ran at the tyrant and grappled onto him before point blank blasting a shotgun round into his head and killing him.
I turned to the baron and began to unload rockets into him as he chased after me. He was insanely quick, but not very agile, meaning I could dash around corners and up walls and he couldn't really keep up. Eventually, after a lot of rockets, he got onto one knee and began to falter. As he did, I leapt at him and stuck my blade right through his neck, severing his windpipe, cauding him to choke almost immediately and die. As he did, the spirit inside of him appeared above him, like it did with the hell knight.
I pulled my plasma rifle our and held the trigger down on the beam as the spirit screamed in agony before exploding, just like the other one.
I looked around and saw that there was a knights sentinel holding half of a shield. I walked over to him and took the section from him.
"May you serve the Maykrs in all their glory." He said.
Yeah, whatever. Maykrs have no glory anymore. Not until Ahsoka takes rule.
I was teleporter back to the centre room and looked the way I'd just come from. The gate was still shut, so I could only go into the second trial.
Yet again, I began to make my way through the swamps, annihilating any demons which got near me. I'd been in hell now for a short while and I was beginning to get angrier as the norm more and more, and I liked it.
I'd just smashed a dread knight into a wall when suddenly an immense fog drops over the place. I could barely see 10 foot Infront of me, but through the smog, I could see an Arachnotron glowing blue.
I pulled my rocket launcher our and began to fire rockets at the thing, watching as it ranked each and every one.
I'd fired about three bursts into the Arachnotron before I was rammed into a wall.
"What the?" I asked as I looked to see what had done it. I couldn't see anything, but I could feel it. "Oh fuck off spectre!" I yelled as I rammed my blade down on top of the thing. Its head split open as I began to be able to see it, and the other ones.
"Come at me!" I yelled as the spectres began to charge it me. The first one, I smashed his face in with my fist, destroying his head and sending our a shockwave which damaged the rest. I proceeded to either cut it smash the remaining spectres until finally, there were none left and the only thing which was, was the spirit buffed Arachnotron.
I dashed around the side of his manic laser shots and fired another 3 rockets at him. He still stood after those hit but I could tell it wouldn't take much more to put him down.
I grappled onto it and blasted it in the head with my super shotgun. As I did, it's body exploded, revealing the spirit which was contained inside.
I did as I'd done before and fired my lock on beam at the spirit before it exploded.
I continued my way through this section of the blood swamps as I nearer the second trial. I had a parkour section which I had to do, and I had to kill a tyrant and some invisible whiplashes, before eventually, I arrived at the second trial.
I didn't hesitate to get this started. I stood on the pad and listened as the demon's began to spawn in around me. I heard an archive below me summoning demons in to kill me, and stop me from saving Ahsoka. I fueled my anger off of them and the thought of Ahsoka being permanently dead and her blood being laid on my hands, and in my burden.
I felt as the demons slowly closed in in me and smiled as I felt what was coming.
Now! Ahsoka screamed again.
I released my huge argent energy burst out and listened to the sizzling sounds which every demon made as their entire body's were evaporated into a fine mist of blood, just like what happend to Ahsoka.
I opened my eyes and saw another Knights Sentinel holding the other half of the shield which I needed. I walked up to it and grabbed it from him as he knelt down and repeat the same line the other one did.
I was teleporter back to the main arena, the one with Maligog in, because this was the trial of Maligog.
"This should complete the shield." The intern said. As he did, the two shield parts joined and merged into one on the side of a metal cube. As they did, the cube began to float into the air. It did so for a few seconds before dashing off away from me. As it did, the corners of the cube opened up to reveal an eye. This eye looked straight at me and shot several lasers in my direction. I dashed around the side of these lasers and pulled my ballista out as I aimed at the cube.
The corners opened yet again and I shot the eye dead straight with my ballista. The bolt connected with the eye and exploded, but the eye was still intact.
The cube dashed off again as I noticed a hell knight trying to attack me. I dashed away from him and kept my focus on the cube.
I proceeded to shoot the eye again, dodging the lasers and hell knight in the process as I went. I repeat this twice more before the box fell to the floor.
Smash the cube in the dome! Ahsoka yelled. I did as she said and smashed the cube into the blue circular dome shaped forcefield in the centre of the arena. As I did, the fine flashed blue and the cube was destroyed, before another cube rose up and began to do the same.
I repeated what I did with the last cube to this one, just now with a pinky also chasing me round. Soon though, the cube fell to the floor and I smashed it into the dome again.
This time, 2 cubes arose from the mist below the arena and began to dash around me. I decided it would be best to focus one of the cubes and destroy one first, so I did.
I treated this fight like the last two cubes, just while I paid extra attention to where the other one was and what it shot at me. Eventually, the first cube went down so I smashed it into the forcefield.
I turned to the last cube as it began to move quicker and shoot more. It made my life harder to hit and harder to not get hit, but eventually, it too went down.
I smashed this hopefully final cube into the forcefield and watched as the blue dome surrounding this centre terminal was destroyed.
I walked up to the terminal and placed my hand onto the sign. As I did, fires began to run up the centre of the terminal before it eventually evaporated from the bottom upwards. As it did, I felt the ground me beneath me. I looked at Maligog, the enslaved titan, and watched as his lifeless body slowly began to be awoken.
His huge eye opened up and gazed around before finally stopping and looking at me. As he did so, his hand which was underneath this arena, gripped the platform as he stood up, taking me and the platform with him.
I watched as the Ingmore Sanctum approached me and I was lifted to the top. Maligog placed me down on it and slid his hand out from underneath before going back down to his eternal rest.
I looked down at the soul essence orbs and saw the Seraphim standing near them.
"Fuck sake." I said to myself as I walked down to them. As I got nearer, Hayden turned to face me.
"Shut up and fuck off, you can't stop me resurrecting Ahsoka." I said as I looked him in the eyes.
"I, have realised the errand in my ways, (y/n). I made a mistake back on Coruscant, saying that the father should be resurrected, not Ahsoka. I was wrong." Hayden said. I didn't really know how to react. "I wanted the Father back so I would regain my power by his side and restore peace to the multiverse, but I forgot that if the Father is awakened, so is Davoth."
I growled just at the name as Hayden looked down at the orbs.
"Besides. There is only one heir to the throne of Urdak, and that is Ahsoka." Hayden said. "I will not stop you from resurrecting her."
I looked him in the eyes, not really trusting him all too much.
Trust him, (y/n). Ahsoka said to me. He is telling the truth. I watched him explain it to Anakin and Obi Wan on Coruscant.
Ok. I trust you Ahsoka. I replied.
I smiled as I picked Ahsoka's life essence orb up off the pedestal and held it in my hands.
"Go now, Slayer. Resurrect Ahsoka in the Holt. The multiverse hasn't much time left." Hayden said.
"What are you gonna do?" I asked him.
"All I can do. Take you there." He said.
I smiled as Hayden opened a portal to the Luminarium; the resurrection chamber, the beginning of all space and time, the first matter to exist, the oldest known land and most importantly, the place where I would get Ahsoka back and bring balance to the multiverse.
Holy shit, we getting Ahsoka back so soon. This is a big pog moment.
Ok, so I know that in the game we destroy the Father's soul sphere and take Davoth's to the Luminarium to resurrect him, but the second part of the DLC was age rated a few days back, meaning it should hopefully be coming out in the next month or so, so I'm going to be waiting until that before I do anymore DLC related stuff and instead I'm gonna be doing stuff with Ahsoka back on Coruscant and elsewhere.
