Requested by simpforsoup: Y/N is friends with Harry and Sam because she takes the same cooking class as Sam. One day Y/N is at the Holland house, cooking when Tom walks in and makes her spill the batter
"I'm being serious, my pasta was so much better than yours." I scoffed, making Harry and Sam laugh as the three of us walked back from uni.
"You're just jealous that Natalia started to flirt with me." Sam teased.
"Ew, you know that you're like a brother to me, don't be disgusting." I winced before jumping onto his back.
"Fuck me, Y/N, could have warned me." he oofed as he held me up with his hands under my thighs and my arms around his neck.
"Don't worry, Y/N. We know that Tom is more your flavour." Harry teased, making me look at him as my eyes widened.
"What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" I scoffed as Sam continued to carry me along the street.
"You're such a bad liar, mate." Sam chuckled. I gulped and bit my lip. I had met Sam two years ago when we had both gone to UCL to study culinary science, AKA, cooking. I had met Harry through Sam, and also because he went to UCL for photography. I had quickly become good friends with the pair, the twins soon becoming my best friends. I had started spending almost every day with them and had gone back to their house for the first time after a month. Which is when I'd met their older brother, Tom. I had gotten a crush on the older boy immediately, his beautiful hazel eyes, equally stunning curls and absolutely gorgeous body making me fall in love with him immediately. And given Harry and Sam's comments, I hadn't been as subtle with that crush as I thought that I'd been.
"Whatever. You two chuckle fucks are just jealous that I crush on your brother instead of you." I retorted back as I jumped off of Sam's back.
"Yeah, sure, we want you so bad, Y/N." Sam sarcastically replied, making me smile at him and gently pinch his cheek as we approached their house.
"You still coming in, mate?" Harry asked. I gulped, my eyes widening slightly as I saw Tom's car on the driveway.
"Um, why is Tom's car here and your parents' isn't?" I asked.
"They've gone on holiday, so Tom said that he'd help us throw a party or something. Don't tell me that you're now not coming in because he's here." Harry teased, making me roll my eyes as we headed to the door. Sam unlocked it and let us into the house.
"Paddy? Tom?" Harry yelled.
"Did one of you get my text? We needed more milk-." I looked up, my eyes widening as Tom stood at the doorway to the kitchen. In nothing but a low-hanging pair of basketball shorts and a thin layer of sweat glistening against his skin. I looked back up to his face to see his eyes equally as wide.
"You two didn't tell me that Y/N was coming over." he spoke, looking at the twins as he spoke through gritted teeth.
"Sorry, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing." Harry lied. Tom rolled his eyes before heading back into the kitchen, making me gulp as I continued to follow him with my eyes.
"Take a picture. It'll last longer." Sam smirked. I looked at him and slapped his chest, making him laugh as we headed into the kitchen.
Tom's P.O.V
Tom stood in the kitchen, looking down at his phone as he waited for Harry and Sam to get back from uni. As if on cue, he heard the front door open.
"Paddy? Tom?" he heard Harry yell. He wandered out, his eyes still on his phone as he did.
"Did one of you get my text? We needed more milk-." Tom looked up, his eyes widening as Y/N stood with his brothers. Shit, he thought as he looked at the stunning girl. When Harry and Sam had brought her back to the house two years ago now, he had immediately fallen in love with her. She was absolutely beautiful, not to mention how kind, caring and funny she was. The issue was that there were four years between the pair, and Tom didn't know if she'd be willing to date someone a bit older. And so for now, he'd admire her from afar. Y/N looked up, her eyes widening too as she saw Tom's attire of nothing but a low-hanging pair of basketball shorts and a thin layer of sweat glistening against his skin due to the fact that he'd been working out before he came over. She looked back up to his face to see his eyes equally as wide.
"You two didn't tell me that Y/N was coming over." he spoke, looking at the twins as he spoke through gritted teeth. They could have warned him that his crush would be coming over and therefore he should have worn a shirt. Or should have taken the basketball shorts off.
"Sorry, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing." Harry replied. Tom rolled his eyes before heading back into the kitchen, his heart pounding at the fact that she'd just seen him half naked. Though Tom still hoped that in time, she'd want to see him fully naked.
Y/N's P.O.V
I stood in Sam and Harry's kitchen, mixing together ingredients to make cupcakes.
"There we go." I mumbled, tapping the spoon on the side of the bowl before picking it up and turning around. My eyes widened and I gasped as I walked straight into Tom.
"Shit!" he exclaimed as I dropped the bowl, dropping the batter all over the floor and making the bowl smash.
"Fuck, I'm so sorry, Y/N." he gulped as he immediately bent down and started picking up the broken glass.
"Don't worry about it. I hated that batter anyway." I chuckled, trying to make him feel less bad as I grabbed the mop from the cupboard.
"Don't lie, I know that you've been in here for half an hour making it." he smiled.
"What, you been watching me, Tommy?" I teased as I started to mop up the batter.
"I prefer to call it admiring from afar." he returned, making me chuckle and bite my lip as I mopped it up.
"Can I help you make a new batch? I honestly feel really bad about making you drop it." he smiled sheepishly. I looked at him.
"Sure. I could use some help. Especially if it's from you." I flirted slightly. He smirked and shook his head, making me blush as his reaction told me that he liked the flirting. He liked me flirting.
"Okay, here we go." I mumbled, both of us putting all of the ingredients into the bowl.
"You want me to stir first?" Tom asked.
"It's okay, I've got it." I reassured, making him nod as he stood next to me and started to put the cupcakes cases onto the tray. I started to mix all of the ingredients, though it was harder since it was the second batch. I'd been stirring the original batch for a good ten minutes, meaning that my arms were now really tired. Tom looked over at me.
"You sure that you're okay?" he chuckled.
"Y-yeah, it's just that after the first batch, my arms are kind of tired." I winced as I continued to stir it.
"Here, let me help." he nodded. My eyebrows furrowed, my mind not exactly sure what he meant by that. Until he went behind me. I gulped, my heart jumping as he put his arms around me and landed his hands over mine. He put his hand over mine, giving me more power to stir the mix with.
"Is this okay with you?" he mumbled, making me bite my lip as he rested his chin on my shoulder.
"Yeah. I like it." I admitted quietly. I felt him smile, my heart jumping at the feeling of being in Tom's arms. He smelt so good, he felt so good. I just wish that this could become a regular thing.
"I think that that's ready." I nodded as I looked at the now all-together mix.
"Hang on, let me taste it." he spoke as he dipped his finger into the batter before sticking it into his mouth.
"Mhm." he moaned slightly at the taste, making me blush harshly at the action.
"Come on, we need to get these into the oven." I chuckled, making Tom smirk at me as I started to put the batter into the cases.
"And...done." I nodded as I filled the last cupcake case with the batter.
"Ey, they're going to be great once they're cooked!" Tom exclaimed, making me smile and look at him.
"Hopefully they'll taste just as good as they look." I stated as I grabbed them. I bent down and put them in the oven before standing back up. I turned around, my eyes widening and a gasp leaving my lips as I once again walked straight into Tom.
"Woah." he chuckled, making me gulp as his arms curled around my waist in order to stop me from falling. But the action also pulled me into his body. Not that I minded. I gulped, Tom returning it as we looked at each other's lips.
"Fuck it." he mumbled before leaning down and pressing our lips together. My eyes widened but I quickly returned the kiss, my hands curling around Tom's neck and pulling him closer. He deepened the kiss, making me smirk and him smile as he slipped his tongue into my mouth. I couldn't help but squeal against his lips, making his smile widen as he lifted me up and slid my ass onto the counter. He stood in between my legs and gripped my hips as we continued to make out. I broke the kiss, in desperate need of air as we looked at each other.
"You were right. The batter does taste good." I teased. He smirked and shook his head, making me laugh as he leant in and kissed me again
