I stood around the table with the other Avengers, chewing at my nail as I let my mind fill with thoughts of Peter. I couldn't help but smile slightly as I remembered how his eyes used to crinkle when he laughed, his pearly white teeth showing when he did. I loved remembering how messy his hair was after a fight or when he'd just taken his mask off, even though he hated it being messy, but I knew that he had it like that sometimes just because he knew that I liked it. I remembered the first time we had trained together. I had only just gotten my powers and so he was a little too cocky about how strong I was compared to him, and that fight had ended in him being thrown through a wall by my energy. Though, I'm glad I did it, because he always claimed that that was the moment that he knew he loved me. My smile dipped slightly as I remembered that day on Titan, the boy that I was in love with begging for his life as he lay in my arms, more and more of his body turning to ash the longer I held him. The last words he ever said to me rang in my head: I'm sorry. Now, it was me that was sorry. After all, it had been five years and I had still failed to bring back the boy that I was still in love with, despite somehow living for half a decade without him.

"Y/N?" I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard Tony say my name. I looked up and sighed as everyone looked at me, concerned. I had slipped into somewhat of a depression after Peter and half of the population had been snapped out of existence, and everyone was worried that even thinking about the boy would send me back there.

"You good, kid?" Steve asked, putting a comforting hand on my shoulder. I nodded, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Y/N, did you hear what I said?" Tony asked. I sighed, rubbing my forehead.

"Um...no, sorry." I mumbled.

"It's okay, kid. But I said that since you're the most powerful one here, you're going to have to be the one to wear the gauntlet, and snap everyone back into existence." He admitted. I nodded.

"Yeah, f-fine, I'll do it." I shrugged.

"Y/N, I don't think you understand the magnitude of what we're asking of you. This could most definitely kill you." Scott spoke, looking at me.

"I know exactly what you're asking me to do. And "could" is the operative word there. It could kill me. It definitely would kill everyone else, so that leaves me." I nodded.

"I'm sorry, remind me again what qualifies this puny human child as not only the most powerful, but the only one who can wield the gauntlet without facing death?" Thor scoffed.

"You're going to wish that you hadn't asked that." Bruce mumbled as I held out my hand and opened it. Thor looked at me expectantly, making me raise my eyebrow as I knew what was coming. Suddenly, his hammer crashed through the wall and landed in my hand, making me wrap my fingers around the handle. Thor's eyes widened.

"That, for starters." I nodded.

"You shouldn't have asked." Rhodey chuckled.

"When Thanos came to Earth the first time, he kidnapped Y/N and transferred the soul stone's energy to her. Whilst the stone isn't actually inside of her, she still has its full power, which makes her even more powerful than a god. Since we have the stones instead of Thanos, Y/N is currently the most powerful being in the universe. And provided that everything goes to plan, and Thanos doesn't get the stones back, she will remain the most powerful being until she dies." Bruce explained.

"But of course, if you want to try and harness the power of all six infinity stones, don't let me stop you." I scoffed. Thor looked around the table sheepishly before looking at me.

"No, I think I'll let you handle this one." He nodded, making me return it.

"Y/N, the gauntlet is ready." Tony spoke. All of them looked at me, slight looks of sadness and concern in their eyes. I took a deep breath as I walked into the room where the machine was, everyone following behind me.

"Then so am I." I nodded. Tony returned it as he got the new gauntlet out of the machine, all of the stones in their places. My heart pounded against my chest as I stood in the middle of the room, everyone else stood around me, at least a few metres away from me.

"Okay, so all you're doing is bringing everyone back. You are not erasing the last five years, okay? You bring them back to here and now." Tony stated.

"Got it." I nodded. Tony returned it before giving me the gauntlet and stepping back to the distance that everyone else was at. I started to slip my fingers into the gauntlet, making everyone tense up.

"Wait." I spoke, suddenly stopping and making everyone puff out. I looked at Tony.

"This will work, so if I die, I need you to tell Peter that I love him." I nodded, a tear rolling down my cheek. Tony sighed.

"You're not going to die, kid. But I promise." He reassured before stepping into his Iron Man suit and letting the helmet form over his head. I gulped, looking at everyone as Steve held up his shield and Scott put his helmet on, as did Rhodey. Thor protectively pushed Rocket behind him, Bruce just putting his green hand in front of his face as Tony formed an electric shield in front of Clint. I took a deep breath before putting my hand into the gauntlet, the metal adjusting to my hand size. My eyes widened as the power started to kick in. I screamed out as the power of all six infinity stones surged through me, electrifying every part of my body, but not in a good way.

"Get it off, get it off!" Thor shouted.

"No, wait! Y/N, you good?!" Clint yelled. I screamed out again and squeezed my eyes shut as I collapsed to my knees, clutching the hand that the gauntlet was wrapped around. My eyes shot open, my orbs now glowing purple as the power of the soul stone that was inside of me tried to help me survive the power of all six.

"Y/N, are you okay?! Talk to us!" Steve yelled. I cried out as the power sent burns up my arm and to my neck, leaving the right side of my body feeling white-hot.

"She's just a child, get it off of her-."

"No!" I cried out, making everyone stop and look at me.

"I-I'm...I'm okay." I panted, slowly standing up and planting my shaking feet on the floor. Everyone looked at me with wide eyes, clearly shocked that I wasn't already dead.

"You good, kid?" Tony asked. I gulped and nodded, making him return it. I closed my eyes and panted, still cupping my gauntlet-covered wrist.

"Bring everyone back, to today. Leave the last five years alone. Bring everyone back." I breathed before opening my eyes. I couldn't help but smile as I felt my eyes burning purple, the feeling of immense power somewhat addictive. Even if it was about to potentially kill me.

"Bring Peter back." I whispered before snapping my fingers.
