"O-okay.." the two girls walked into the gym, preferably backstage where a few other kids such as Leon, Sayaka, a tanned girl with a large bust and a leotard, and some short gremlin with dark grape hair that cover his face and was a bit wavy, deep violet eyes, checkered scarf that covered his paper pale skin and a mischievous grin on his face.
"You can d-do this Akamatsu, d-don't worry!" The girl encouraged the pianist, small twinkles in her eye, and even a slight blush dusted on her cheeks
"Thank you Tsumiki. You honestly didn't have to come here with me, but I'm grateful that you did" Kaede smiled gleefully, blushing as well

"Next!" The judges yelled, Akamatsu walked onto the main stage with her keyboard in her arms
"Good luck Akamatsu " Mikan whispered, at that same time she felt a hand grab her wrist and drag her out into the hallway far from backstage through the back doors. "Huh-"

"T-Tatchi?" Mikan looked up to find the comedian, who pinned her to the wall by her hair, pulling the shorter ends a bit too rough.

"F-Fukaina.." Mikan groaned, whimpering under her breath. She heard the sound of a belt getting undone and dropping to the floor, before eventually tying her hands together above her head on the floor.

H-huh?" Her eyes fluttered open, she looked at her surroundings, trying to see where she was and how she got here. "H-hello?" Mikan looked behind her for a second, before fixing her gaze on a field of tall trees, their branches filled with colorful leaves and even a few mandarin oranges growing on them, gently plopping onto the soft green grass.
"This is quite lovely.." she smiled to herself, slowly walking over to one specific tree she saw. It was just a normal tree, sure, but she specifically chose it.
Her hand brushed against the roughly textured bark, until it got to the base.
It was chopped, and before she could even realize, the upper body of the tree collapsed in front of her, revealing the wilting fields of dahlias and lollies near the pond. It got muggy and dirty, killing all of the koi fish that once happily swam through the waters.
"Oh no- oh no!" She panicked, tripping over herself when she began to sprint over to said pond. Her hands reached into the cold waters, picking up a beautiful white koi fish, that lay lifeless in her hands. "Poor thing..if only I came in time i-I could've saved you and your f-frie-" Tsumiki turned around, see all of the trees that once stood tall, collapsing from being chopped by an unknown force.
Under her feet the grass wilted to an ugly gray color, and eventually gave out, letting Mikan free fall through the dark, the koi fish rotting to bones

Before her face could hit the ground, she heard his voice
"Alright, just finished up. You're okay, right?"
"Huh?"

"I said...never mind. You weren't listening anyways. You were bleeding a bit, but everything's handy dandy! " Fukaina smiled, getting himself up. "I'm about to get called for the audition, wish me luck!"
With that he ran away, leaving Mikan to herself on the ground, writhing in pain
"I need...I need to get back to the dorms.." she hazily picked herself up, all of her strength was drained from all of the limbs on her body. She began to limp her way out of the building, soon collapsing outside, the white snowflakes gently sat in her hair as the sky grew cloudy and bitterly cold, and her vision became a shadow of everything around her
