A Step Grandma or A Step Mother

Red snorted but didn't say anything.

April smiles.
"Also remember, whatever your step grandma says bad about me. Remember that It is not true."

"What would she say?"
Red asks.

"I don't know. Something awful?"

"Okay." Though Red looks confused, he nods.

April happily rubs his head.
"That's my cute son."

Red blushes and pouts.

"Good morning,Mrs. Argos."
April smiles.

Since she likes the title, just give it to her.

The old woman still looks young and beautiful.
Her super black hair looks unnatural though.
Her pale skin looks like the skin of a sick person,if not, is she a real time vampire?

April is insulting her inside her head but maintains a sweet smile.

"Oh my, Are you Richard's new wife? You look familiar."
The old b**** didn't even greet her.
There is ridicule and disgust in her eyes.

"Mrs. Argos," Red makes his presence known.
Since his mother called her that, he too copied her.
He never called her grandma anyways. Her real grandma is overseas.

The old woman smiles at Red.
"Red! My cute grandson, come to grandma."

April almost vomits blood.
She just called Red the same way.
Is it how b**** called kids nowadays?
Did she dug her own grave?

Red didn't come near her.
He hides behind April.
"I want to stay near Mom."

"Mom?" The woman looks shocked at April.
"Well, you are very capable indeed."

April smiles.
"What do you mean, Mrs. Argos?"
April got tired of standing. She seats on the opposite side of the sofa. Facing the old woman.

'This is my house. Why do I need your permission to sit down?'

She smiles.
"Sweetie, sit next to Mommy." April said, patting the space beside her.

Red nods.

'Okay, I am prepared. Throw me whatever!'

She looks at 'Mrs.Argos'.

The woman is looking intently at her.

"I really think I've seen you before. Where was that?"

April wants to vomit blood.
'Still want to continue that topic? As if you don't know, B****'

"I wonder. You didn't attend my civil wedding so I am not sure." April smiles.

'Take that b****, you think I will easily give in?'

This is not the first they met.
As Richard's secretary, April meets his family more than a handful of times. Especially these two leeches, stepmother and half sister of Richard's.

They only come to Richard when they need something.
Since Richard is not one to be swayed and used by others. It is unlikely that they will get their way but they keep coming back.

So as the secretary, she hated these two the most.

April likes Richard's mother.
When she visits Richard she will give her a souvenir from abroad that she visited.
Like perfume, bags or wallets.
Last year, she gave her a red envelope and there is money on it making her elated.

"It's not that I didn' want to come. Your husband didn't invite us. It is a bit disheartening. It's as if he didn't treat us as family."

"Maybe." April smiles.
The old woman glares at her.

April panics.
"I mean, Maybe it's because the wedding is too fast. We only have Sir Odyssey as a witness after all." April shyly smiles.

"Isn't it because it's just a contractual wedding?"

April eyes dilated.

'Ah. So you really come to humiliate me. What's your purpose in saying that?'
She smiles.
"What does Mrs. Argos means?"

The old woman laughs.
"My words," she looks at Red. "We can't let Red hear this. Baby, how about you leave us for a while?"

Red is already clenching his two fist.
Looking intently at his step mother.

"You can't honestly let the little boy hear this right?" Mrs. Argos said.
Sensing Red will not be on her side then she needs to eliminate him.

April smiles.
"Red, Sweetie, how about you go upstairs?"

Red shakes his head.
"Last time, Aunt Robina and her evil friend hurt you, Mom. I don't want to leave you behind."

Mrs. Argos frowns.
"Baby, that is not what happens. It is just a small misunderstanding."
She smiles awkwardly.

Red glares at her.
"Misunderstanding needs them to grab my mother and humiliate her inside our house?"

April blinks.
She wants to clap her hand and praise Red.
She grins and looks at Mrs. Argos with a loving gaze.
"My son was shocked to witness a horrible thing. I really don't want him to think badly of his Aunt but I also don't want to lie to him."

Mrs. Argos......Laila glares at April.
"You really am good! You even dare divide the family with your schemes."

April frowns
"What scheme? Who shamelessly comes here and wanted to be called Mrs. Argos? I am the only Mrs. Argos besides Red's mom in this house!"

"You!"

April sweetly smiles.
"Or do you also want to marry my husband?"

"How vulgar!" The old woman angrily stands up in anger

April snorts.
"What's wrong? Only in your house, you are Mrs. Argos. This house belongs to my husband and whoever marries him is the real Mrs. Argos. If I am wrong then please call my husband. He will explain it to you in better words for you to understand."
She looks at Red.
"Let's go and look at your notes?"

Red smiles at her.
