Chapter 101-France

"Julia what's wrong?" Stefan asked

"Dad had a heart attack, he's in the hospital" she said with her voice cracking

Stefan slammed on the breaks making me jolt forward and hitting my head on the dashboard. I was going to have a headache.

"Sorry" he whispered

"Julia when did this happen?" Stefan asked worried

"10 minutes ago, Louis called me" she replied

"Julia pack your bag, Im picking you up in 30 minutes" he said

"Ok" She replied

Stefan hung up the phone

"Are you okay?" I asked

"Yeah, we just need to pack to go to France" he said

"Ok, I can see if Lizzie can take care of rocky" I said

"No, leave him home. I'll have Diana my assistant walk and feed him" he said

"Ok" I replied

He sped home and we went upstairs to start packing. I didn't know how long I was going but I packed for a week worth. I grabbed my stuff from the bathroom and finished packing. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a Tylenol because I have a headache from hitting my head.

"You have a headache?" He asked

"Yeah, from hitting the dashboard" I said

"Shit, sorry about that again. I didn't mean to, I was just didn't expect to get that news" he said

"It's fine, I would have done the same thing" I replied

"Are you ready?" He asked

"Yes" I said

"Ok, let's go" he replied

We left the penthouse and picked up Julia. Her face was tear stained and eyes were red, you could tell she was crying.

"Will dad be okay?" Julia asked

"Yes he will, don't worry" Stefan said

"Hey, don't worry. He will be okay" I said comforting her.

We reached the private airport and sat inside the plane. It was an 8 hour flight, not too long.

"Stefan are you okay?" I asked

"Yes, I just need to make sure my dad is okay" he said

I know he wasn't okay, he acts tough but he needs to know it's okay to not be okay. I tried talking to him throughout the flight but he was very distant and he doesn't know how to express it.

We landed and headed straight to the hospital first.

"Hi what room is John Aveline in" Stefan asked

"Are you family?" The nurse asked

"Yes" he replied

"I.D please?" She asked

We all pulled our I.D out.
