Chapter 6-Moving in

We both walked in and I turned on the light. It was the as I left it when I came with jenna and James.

"Woah, I love the house" Lizzie said

"Thanks, let me show you around" I said

"Ok this is the kitchen, and the family room. There's a bathroom over there" I said

We walk down a hall to the rooms

"This is my room, then this is your room. Originally it was a guest room but now it's yours, and lastly don't go in this room" I said

"Ok" she said

"The movers are coming tomorrow night so our stuff should be here by then. There's still a bed in the guest bedroom" I replied

"Ok, I'm tired so I'll see you in the morning" she said

"Ok, goodnight" I replied

She went in the guest room and I went to my parents room. I'll be okay, I can do this.

I opened my parents door, and it was the same. I took baby steps inside. I got this, I have to get use to this. I went towards my mom side of the room.

God I miss them so much, why couldn't they be here to see my journey. I grabbed my moms pillow and slid down to the floor.

Tears falling down my cheeks, it wouldn't stop. I wish they were here, I wish I could see them again. I wish I could say to them one more time goodbye.

I sat on the floor for 30 more minutes, contemplating and feeling like shit. I got up, pillow still in my hand and slowly went to my room. The pillow smelled just like her. It makes me miss her more but it also comforts me.

I slid into my old bed and started falling asleep. I woke up at 12pm my body thinks it's 9am. I get up and go towards the kitchen. I check the fridge like I thought there was food. It was empty, I don't know why I checked. I went to see if Lizzie was awake and she was not. She was not so I grabbed the keys and went to a cafe nearby. I grabbed some food for her and I and went back.

"I got breakfast" I yelled

I set it down on the counter, I saw Lizzie coming from the hallway, with a towel rubbing through her hair

"I found a towel in the bathroom" she said

"Ok, I got you a bagel" I said

"Thank god, I've been dying to try one" she said

"They are to die for" I replied

She took a bite out of the bagel and her eyes lit up

"Holy shit, this is amazing" she said

"Told you" I replied

"What time is the movers coming?" She asked

"Before 5, so we gotta take all the furniture out from the rooms" I said

"Ok, where we gonna put it?" She asked

"Storage locker, I'll rent one today" I said

"Ok" she replied

We finished our bagels and started moving furniture.

"I'm gonna get a uhaul truck" I said

"Kk" she replied

I grabbed my wallet and keys and went to rent a uhaul truck.

I got the uhaul truck and went back to the house.

"Ok, let's move the furniture" I said

We started with the couch, and put it in the uhaul truck. Then we went and did our own bedrooms. I kept my parents bedroom the same.
