I was writing my 27th letter to Elizabeth. I already knew she wasn't going to respond, so I don't even know why I was trying anymore. I should've known she just pitied me, and dated me because she felt bad for me.

A knock sounded at my door, and I crumpled up the letter. No point in trying anymore.

"Come in."

My mother came in, and sat on my bed.

"We have guests. Dress nice."

"Who's here?"

"The Averys. We want you to meet their daughter, Faith," she explained.

"So you're trying to set me up?"

"Not exactly, but we just want to see if you two like each other."

"Okay..."

She stood up, and left. I slammed my door shut. They were always trying to control my stupid life. The one girl I wanted to be with...I couldn't because she was ignoring me, and now I was being set up with another.

I put on a black suit, and headed downstairs to see a family of four.

"Draco! Come meet the Averys," my father said.

I walked over to them. A tall man stepped up to me, and held out his hand.

"I'm Jonothan Avery. It's nice to meet you."

"Draco. It's nice to meet you too," I said, coldly.

A woman and a boy who looked to be about 19 came up to me next.

"I'm Alexandra, and this is my son, Braxton."

I shook their hands, and then a girl who looked to be about my age came up to me. She had long brown hair...like Elizabeth's, and she had slightly tan skin. Her green eyes looked into mine, and I felt like I was looking right at Elizabeth.

"I'm Faith. It's nice to meet you," she said with a smile.

She was breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous...maybe not as gorgeous as Elizabeth...but she was very attractive.

"Draco Malfoy."

"Draco, why don't you and Faith go take a walk in the gardens," my mother recommended.

"Sure..."

I led her to the gardens, and we took a seat on a bench.

"I've never seen you before. Do you not go to Hogwarts?"

"I attend Beauxbatons...but I'll be transferring this year to Hogwarts."

"Beauxbatons...so do you know Elizabeth Rosewood?"

She scrunched up her nose, "unfortunately."

"Do you not like her?"

"No. Everyone compares me to her all the time. Not to mention she thinks she's better than everyone."

I was slightly offended on Elizabeth's behalf. She was the sweetest person I knew...how could one not like her? And the way Faith described her just doesn't sound like her.

"Oh. So are you going to be in your 5th year?"

"Yeah. Are you?"

"Yep."

Faith and her family ended up staying with us. We started to become really close, and I'll even admit I was really enjoying her company.

Blaise came to visit for a few days about mid-July.

"So who's that girl?" he asked. "She looks scarily identical to Lizzie."

"Faith Avery. Our parents are trying to set us up. She's coming to Hogwarts."

He raised his eyebrows.

"Do you like her?"

I shrugged, "She's nice. Different from Elizabeth. She'll be a Slytherin for sure."

"That wasn't what I asked."

"I don't know, okay? Elizabeth hasn't responded to me all summer, and it's not like I'll ever see her again so I think it's best I move on."

"Did you forget her best friend died? She's having a hard time, and you weren't even at the funeral to comfort her."

"You weren't there either!"

"Well I'm not her boyfriend!"

"Whatever. I'm just going to see where things with Faith go. It's what my parents want."

"And what do you want?"

"For you to stop bothering me," I snapped.

-

I sighed as I looked out at the ocean in front of me. My family and Faith's family are currently vacationing together before we go back to Hogwarts...and let's just say things have been going really well with Faith and me. We had become super close the past few weeks, and at this point I couldn't deny that I had fallen for her.

Faith walked over to me, swaying her hips. She straddled me, and I looked up at her, biting my lip. She was so hot. I grabbed onto her hips, and she slammed her lips onto mine, kissing me passionately.

"I love you," she said with lust, as her kisses traveled down my neck.

"Let's take this somewhere else," I said, grabbing her face so she was looking at me.

"Sounds good," she purred as she slid off me.

I stood up quickly and followed her to the villa and all I could think about was how Elizabeth had taught me what love is...but Faith showed me what it's really like to be loved.
