Draco came out of the bathroom holding a wet rag. He walked over to where I sat on my bed, and placed it on my hand which had the cuts.

"Draco, I'm fine."

"No you aren't fine. You came out crying today. You hardly cry."

I sat up, and let him tend to my arm. I knew well enough he was too stubborn to listen to me.

"Thank you," I said after he finished washing
my cuts.

He slipped into bed beside me, and cuddled me as Ellie and Blaise came in.

"Aww Blaise aren't they just the cutest?" Ellie said, gleefully.

He nodded in agreement. "I'm glad you two are back together. I couldn't stand seeing you with Faith much longer."

"You only saw us together for like four days."

"Yeah, and it was gross."

-

"Hey Lizzie," Zacharias Smith called out to me as I was walking through the halls. He was the Hufflepuff Quidditch Captain.

"Hey Zach," I said, stopping.

"So your brother tells me you're good at Quidditch, and because um...Cedric is gone, we need a new Seeker. I was wondering if you would be willing to come practice with us this weekend?"

I smiled. I had never thought I would really have a chance to play Quidditch. "Of course. I would love to!"

"Okay, great! See you this Saturday at the pitch."

I turned around, and bumped right into Draco.

"Why are you talking to him?"

"He was asking me if I wanted to try out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team."

"No," he said in a protective way.

"No?" I repeated.

"I don't want you getting hurt."

"Draco, I'll be fine."

"No."

"Is this because you play Quidditch, and you're afraid that I'll beat you?" I said, teasingly.

"No. I know I'd beat you. It's Faith I'm worried about. She's on the team, and I don't want her murdering you."

I laughed. "You're cute when you're overprotective, but I'll be fine."

I started to walk off towards class, but he ran up beside me. "Please, I don't want you to get hurt."

I stopped walking, and pulled him into me. "I'll be fine. I've played against Oliver before who shows no mercy." I kissed him, and made my way into class.

-

I made my way down to the Quidditch Pitch with Ellie and Dylan. The rest of the team was already there.

"Lizzie! I'm glad you came!" Zach said, jogging up to us.

"Yeah of course."

After warming up, we mounted our brooms. We were scrimmaging, and I was on Zach's team. I took my place on the field, and Ethan Humberstone was across from me. He was playing Seeker for the scrimmage.

"Good luck. I'll try not to go too hard on you," he said.

I laughed. "Careful what you say, Humberstone."

He pouted. "Last name basis now are we?"

"Oi! Quit jibber jabbering! I already released the snitch!" Dylan shouted.

Before Ethan could respond, I took off.

"Hey, that's no fair!" I heard him cry.

I laughed as the game began to play out below me. Ethan flew up beside me as we both searched for the snitch.

"Oh look at that! Dylan just scored! 10 points for my team!" Ethan exclaimed.

"Won't do you any good when I catch the snitch."

"Wow! Cocky now are we?"

I cut in front of him, making him slow down, and almost crash. "Watch where you're going Humberstone! You nearly killed me!"

We continued to play for a little while longer, and I finally caught sight of the snitch. I could tell that Ethan did too.

Without hesitation, we both took off in pursuit of it, bumping into each other, and trying to outfly the other.

I bumped into him, throwing him off the path of the snitch, and I was in reach of it. I excitedly stuck out my hand, and grabbed it.

"ATTA GIRL!" Zach cried. He flew over to me, and gave me a high-five.

"Yeah, nice job Rosewood. You're good," Ethan said.

"So will you be our new Seeker?" asked Zach.

I looked around at the rest of the team, and they all nodded.

"Yeah, sure!"

They all cheered, and we flew down to the ground just as the Slytherin Team walked onto the pitch.

"Leave. You're cutting into our practice time," Montauge sneered.

"Relax. We're only two minutes over," Ethan murmured.

"Actually, it's okay. You guys suck, and need all the practice you can get, so I guess we can forgive you guys," he snickered. The rest of the team laughed too.

I looked at Draco, and he stopped.

"We've got a new Seeker this year. She's quite good actually," Zach said.

"Yeah? Who?"

The Hufflepuff Team parted, revealing me. Montague laughed.

"Please. Just because Mummy and Daddy played doesn't mean she's any good."

"Looks like you'll just have to find out next weekend."

"No need. We all know Malfoy will dominate."

I looked at Draco who was looking at me.

"I'm sure. Come on guys," Zach said, leading us off the field.

-

Draco walked into my room late that night still in his Quidditch practice jersey.

"Hey baby," I said, not looking up from my work.

"Quit the team."

I looked up at him. "What?"

"Quit."

"Why?"

He looked extremely angry for Merlin knows why.

"I already told you, it's because I don't want you hurt!"

"Draco, I'll be fine. Faith won't try to hurt me."

"It's not just about her! What if I accidentally hurt you?"

I couldn't help but smile at his worriedness.

"Stop laughing!" he snapped.

"I'm not!" I said, starting to laugh.

He glared at me, and I walked over to him. I wrapped my arms around him, and gazed up into his eyes. "I'm sorry, it's cute when you're being overprotective, but I'll be fine, and you won't hurt me."

"But Elizabeth-"

"Stop. Nothing you say will change my mind."

He rolled his eyes, but gave me a quick kiss. "I'll see you tomorrow. Goodnight."

"Goodnight Dray."
