Time had flown by at Hogwarts and we were just days away from the second task. I sat in potions next to Draco. We had grown rather close since we kissed the night of the Yule Ball, but haven't really addressed that night since.

"Aye Elizabeth, reckon Pottah will embarrass himself at the next challenge?" Draco said loudly, clearly wanting Harry to hear.

"Draco, shush. You aren't funny," I snapped.

"Really, darling?"

He placed a cold hand on my thigh, and slid it up to my waist, making me shiver. He chuckled.

Draco always does stuff like that. He won't bring up the kiss, but for some reason, he just loves to tease me until I become flustered - I just want to know where his heart is at in all honesty...not that I like him in that way.

At least not yet.

I think.

"I love the effect I have on you. You see, I think it's quite funny actually," he whispered as he toyed with the hem of my uniform.

"Whoa, calm down little man. We're in class," I said, placing a hand on his chest, and pushing him away from me.

"Little? Me? No. Quite la-"

"What on Earth has gotten into you?"

He smirked, "Oh nothing, darling. Although, I'd like to get in-"

"Draco! What part of 'we're in class' do you not understand?"

He started to draw shapes on my thigh with his finger, "Please! I'm sure they would all love to watch!"

My mouth dropped open, but I started to laugh, "You know, you are quite funny actually."

"Malfoy, switch seats Blaise. Clearly you and Miss Rosewood can't sit through a whole class without flirting."

The entire class started to laugh, and my cheeks grew red.

"But profes-"

"Now!"

Draco sighed loudly, and picked up his things. I watched him walk over to his new seat, and he froze when he saw who his new partner was - Pansy. He started to gag, and I had to cover my mouth to prevent myself from laughing once again.

"Mr. Malfoy, if you continue to distract the class, I'll have you cleaning potion bottles with me after school," Snape barked.

"F-fine," he said in between gags. He pulled the stool as far away from Pansy as he could. She pulled her stool closer to his though, so he started to scooch off of the side of the stool.

"Draco, stop denying your feelings for me!" she whined.

"Ew," he groaned, pushing her away from him.

I returned to my work, but was stopped when a paper crane landed gracefully on my desk. I picked it up, and unfolded it, revealing Draco's handwriting

Meet me at the Astronomy Tower at 10 tonight. No later.

-D.M.

I looked up at Draco who was already looking at me. He raised his eyebrows in a flirtatious way. I nodded, and he smirked as he turned back to his work.

'What are you up to, Draco Malfoy,' I thought.

When Snape finally dismissed the class, Draco sprinted out of the room with Pansy close on his heels.

"Poor Draco. It must suck having someone as crazy like her obsessing over you."

Blaise chuckled, "if only you heard the way he talks about you."

"What?"

"Oh nothing," he said, as he walked away.

That night, I excitedly ran up the stairs of the Astronomy Tower to see Draco already up there. He spun around when he heard me coming, and a smirk appeared on his face.

"Surprised you came."

"Me too, but I was intrigued as to why you wanted to meet me."

He walked up to me, and wrapped his arms around my waist. He did things like this all the time but we aren't exclusive.

"I just wanted to see you."

"Wow, Mr. Malfoy is quite flirty today," I teased.

"Shut up," he growled as he leaned in and gave me a much needed kiss.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed back. Did I know that what I was doing is wrong? Yes. Did I care at this point? No.

"Be mine," he said in between kisses.

"Wh-what?" I asked, pulling away from him.

"Be mine," he repeated.

"Like, girlfriend?"

He looked down at me awkwardly, "yeah, what else?"

My gut was saying no. I hardly knew this boy, and from what I've heard he's bad news. Not to mention almost my entire family hates him. On the other hand, my heart was saying yes. From what I've seen of him, he's very genuine, and not like everyone else says.

"So?"

I took a deep breath, and looked up into his eyes, "I-I would love to."

A wide smile spread across his face, and he hugged me, "I didn't think you would say yes...but Oliver said you would, so I decided to ask."

I laughed. Oliver was really committed to our relationship.

"I think we should keep this on the down-low though," he said.

"I agree."

I walked through Hogwarts to the Slytherin common room. She really said yes. There was just something special about this girl. The way she laughed made me smile, and she was gorgeous. The way she made me feel was different too...it was new...but I liked it.

"I take it she said yes," Blaise said as I walked into our room.

"How'd you know?" I asked as I sat on my bed.

"You have a stupid grin on your face is how we can tell," Oliver commented.

I glared at him, "shut up."

"Jeez. I was expecting to get a little appreciation considering I'm the one that convinced you to grow a pair and ask."

"Just keep your mouths shut. We want to keep our relationship a secret."

"Oh please. It's not us you have to worry about. You're the one that runs their mouth like crazy," Blaise said.

"I do not!"

"You kinda do," Oliver said, laughing.

"I just can't believe he managed to get Elizabeth. She could have anyone, and she chose Malfoy," Blaise said to Oliver.

"Maybe because she knows I don't have a new girl in my bed every night," I sneered.

"Someone's mad," Oliver teased.

"And someone's jealous," I said, glaring at Blaise.

Oliver laughed, "Okay. Stop. Both of you. You two sound like little girls. But really, I'm happy for you and Lizzie, Draco."

"Whatever."
