"It's something I never thought I would say, but I give you permission to marry my daughter," said North Rosewood, Elizabeth's father.

It's been a few weeks and finally, both Elizabeth and I have reunited with our parents . . . except my father is spending some more time in Azkaban which is deserved. My mother escaped the charges, and I was thankful for that.

With Elizabeth's family being back in the picture, I have finally had the opportunity to ask for her hand in marriage, and I just got her father's blessing which I could not be happier about.

Just as we stood up from our chairs in the Rosewood dining room, Elizabeth came into the room. When she saw us, a suspicious look formed onto her face. "Why are you two together?"

"Just getting to know Draco better is all, dear. You picked a good one," he said as he squeezed her shoulders and then left the dining room.

"I hope he didn't scare you," she said worriedly.

I chuckled softly, trying to hide my excitement. "The complete opposite actually. How has your day been so far, darling?"

She smiled and faced me, wrapping her arms around me as she did so. "It's been great."

I returned the smile and pulled her close to me. I gazed into her gorgeous green eyes and was simply taken aback. No matter how many times I look into them, I fall in love again. She's absolutely gorgeous and I could not be more excited to think that I will be marrying her. In all honesty, I had to fight the urge to stop myself from dropping down in front of her and proposing right then and there.

However, the time for me to propose did finally come. I could barely wait so I wanted to do it as quickly as possible. The Rosewoods and my mother helped me out with it, and we somehow all managed to keep it from Elizabeth.

"You ready, Draco?" asked Oliver as he stretched. It looked like he was preparing to run a race.

"Yeah . . . why are you acting like that?" I questioned as I checked for the millionth time to make sure the ring box was still in my pocket.

"Well, you are finally proposing, why would I not be excited?"

I rolled my eyes and checked my watch. She should be making her way over here any minute now. "I'm just worried Elizabeth will say no."

Oliver stopped stretching and looked at me. "Okay, one. Let's get this straight, she loves you. No way will she say no. And also, two, why the hell do you still call her Elizabeth?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, everyone she is friends with calls her anything but Elizabeth," he explained.

"What's so bad about keeping things formal?" I asked.

Oliver shook his head. "Because you two are in love."

"Okay, okay, shut up, she's coming," I hissed as the lights in Elizabeth's room of the Rosewood home began to flicker. It was Sawyer's sign that she was on her way - I can't believe I got Sawyer Rosewood to help me propose to his cousin. I chuckled softly at the thought.

"Have you seen Draco?" I asked Ellie after I finished preparing for my date with Draco.

She shrugged but wore an unconvincing smile. "No, but you look gorgeous."

"Thanks . . ."

"He's downstairs," said Sawyer.
