When we initially began the tutoring session he didn't seem that interested. He would do the questions I would give him but like the first time he would initially just get them wrong repeatedly. He said he wanted to get this over with but because of how he was acting we would be here all night. What is wrong with him?

"Take the decimal and round it then divide it by your answer-"

"Why do you keep trying to teach me this. I've gotten it wrong over and over again."

"Because I'm required. I have to try to teach you this."

He sighed and leaned back in his chair. I don't know what was bothering him, but his mood was bad. I was starting to feel annoyed that Ba Wei and it was something I hadn't felt in a while. I stared at him for minute before I turned back for the notebooks.

"Just forget it," I said as I closed the books. This seemed to shock Ba Wei because even though I was looking at him I knew he was looking at me.

"What?"

I didn't say anything and just suffer my books in my bag. I wouldn't say that I'm angry in any way, but I was frustrated. Not because he kept getting the questions wrong, but because he wouldn't at least try to pay attention. He didn't even try to pretend that he wanted to be here, so why should I even continue to try.

I stood up from the table and swung my bag over my shoulders and started to walk to the door. I expected Ba Wei to try to stop me but he didn't. He just let me leave without a word. I couldn't help but think it was out of character for him. Not him being difficult in the learning process, but him disregarding that this is task for me.

I sighed and started to make my way to the far exit of the school. Walking this way by myself felt strange since Ba Wei usually walked me close to my house most of the time. Walking alone in these halls brought back the memory of before I had to tutor him. Before I knew he was. I can't say my life was better but it was less chaotic. Me and my father got along somewhat but now we didn't even do that. The large bruise that was forming on my chest was proof of that. Why have things become so complicated.

I pushed those thoughts to the back of my head and just kept walking. I had almost made it to the exit when I heard my name being called. I knew who it was but even though I wanted to turn around I just kept walking. He again called out my name, but this time it sounded like he was getting closer.

I stopped walking and sighed and looked behind me. When I made eye contact with Ba Wei I was a bit shocked at how close he was to me since I didn't hear him approaching me that fast.

"What?" He stared at me without saying a word for a few minutes before he shifted his eyes and sighed.

"Look I know you're mad-"

"I'm not," I said cutting him off.His eyes snapped to mine and he raised an eyebrow.

"Look-"

"It's fine. Your mind is somewhere else so it'll be a waste of time to try to make you focus."

"Just let me apologize," he said raising his voice. He ran a hand through his hair. "Look I'm sorry that I wasn't paying attention. I just have a lot on my mind."

"I can tell. I said it wasn't a big deal so just go ahead and go do whatever you need to do."

I was about to walk away when he suddenly pulled me into his arms. I didn't know how to react so I just stood there confused as he hugged me tight.

"Don't be mad."

"I said I'm not mad."

"Don't lie to me."

"I'm not. I'm just frustrated."

"Why don't I believe you?"

"You should," I said laughing. "Get off."

"Why should I?"

I didn't say anything and because I didn't his arms tightened. His head was buried against my shoulder. As we stood there in the quiet hall I couldn't help but think he was acting a bit more childish than he normally does.

"I'll give you a reward if you let go."

"What kind of reward?

When I heard that sentence and the tone that he said it in I knew exactly what he wanted. I wasn't dumb. I was once a playboy myself so there was no way that he wanted anything else but something sexual.

"What do you want?"

He was silent for a few minutes, and his arms slightly loosened. He lifted his head from my shoulder and right next to my ear he said something that sent shivers down my spine.

"I want you."

His breath was hot on my ear, and even though I wanted to have a reaction I forced myself to just be unbothered. His arms fell from around me and he stepped back from me and our eyes met. Even in a time like this I couldn't read him. My heart was pounding and any emotions that I had been feeling before had disappeared. Why do you make me feel like this?

"Let's go then."

I turned around and started walking and a small chuckle come from behind me. I glanced behind me to see a smile on Ba Wei's face. I raised an eyebrow at him, and he winked at me. I couldn't help but to smile and shake my head at the childishness.

When we exited the school the cool night air was refreshing. I looked around and to my surprise that all too familiar black car sat at the school gates. I stopped walking and let Ba Wei catch up to me.

"That's Kang Wu isn't it?"

He looked toward the gates, "Yeah. that's him. I'll go tell him I'll call him to come pick me up later."

"It's fine. Just get him to drop us off."

He looked at me shocked, "I'm surprised, but alright."

He started walking toward the car and I followed behind him at a slight distance. I honestly didn't want to get in this car, simply because every time I get in Kang Wu makes me uncomfortable. It's not like he talks, its the lack there of. He doesn't say anything he just stares at me with every chance he gets. It's honestly is weird.

Ba Wei opened the door to the car and gestured for me to get in. I didn't say anything and just climbed in the car. Immediately when I sat down I could feel his eyes on me.

"It's been a while young man."

I slightly bowed, "It has."

Ba Wei climbed into the car and Kang Wu looked over at him. I had a hunch that he knew he wasn't going to be going to his house.

"Where to?"

"Do you have to ask?"

Kang Wu didn't say anything and just started the car and pulled off. This night is going to be a long one.
