"She's in the fucking lake," Blaise said, his expression blank, but his voice was quivering.

"I'm going in."

I started to remove my jacket, but Blaise pulled me back.

"No you don't, big guy. She'll be up soon. Diggory'll save her."

Time slowly crawled by, and I was on the verge of jumping in when Diggory's head finally popped up, and he was soon followed by Elizabeth. I sighed a sigh of relief as I saw her smiling face.

"See. You freaked out over nothing."

"Not my fault I actually care about someone," I called out as I made my way down to the lower level of the dock.

I was hoisted out of the water, and towels were wrapped around me - and a pair of arms.

"Hi Draco."

No response. He spun me around, and held me close.

"What if people see?"

"Let them."

Cedric came up next to us, his arm around Cho. I quickly jumped away from Draco.

"I'm so sorry Ced, I can explain!"

He laughed, "don't worry Liza. I'm okay with it."

He lowered his voice and leaned into me, "I mean if I'm being honest, you could do better than Malfoy, but I'm happy for you."

"You're serious?"

He smiled and nodded.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he hugged me back.

"This is why you're my best friend."

He chuckled, and I turned back to Draco who took me back into his arms. I cuddled into his embrace; I felt safe, happy, and somehow warm in his cold embrace.

Soon after, Krum came up with Hermione, and Harry came up with Ron and Gabrielle - Fleur's sister.

Dumbledore stepped up to announce the results of the Challenge.

"Congrats to all the Champions. In first place, from Hogwarts, Cedric Diggory..."

A loud cheer sounded out, and I clapped for Ced.

"...In second place, for his display of heroism and bravery, Harry Potter!"

The Durmstrang section yelled in protest as several Hogwarts students cheered.

"Stupid Pottah. Always stealing the glory. He's not even supposed to be competing," Draco grumbled.

I laughed a bit, and took Draco's hand in mine.

-

Draco, Oliver, and Blaise had snuck me into their room after the Challenge. Blaise and Oliver went somewhere else, and Draco was in the shower, so I sat on his bed waiting for him.

He came out a while later wearing just sweats. His hair was slightly wavy from the wetness of the shower.

"What?" he asked.

I realized I was staring.

"Nothing. Nothing."

He grabbed a shirt, and pulled it on. Dang it. He looked better without it.

He sat next to me, and wrapped his arm around me.

"Oh, it's okay darling. I know I'm irresistible."

The way he spoke sent shivers ripping through my body.

"No. That's not it," I said, teasingly.

"Oh really?" he asked, pushing me down, and climbing on top of me.

I gulped as I looked into his silver eyes.

He smirked, and began to lean in, but stopped when the door opened.

"Do you mind?" he snarled, not taking his eyes off of me.

"This is my room too," Blaise's voice called out.

Draco groaned.

"Why aren't you with Rosewood?" he asked, sliding off me.

"He's hooking up with a Hufflepuff."

"Tmi," I said.

"Oh hi Elizabeth. Didn't see you there."

"Hi Blaise."

"Can you maybe leave?" Draco asked him.

"Nah. I have a question for Elizabeth actually."

"No."

"It's fine Draco," I said giggling, "What's wrong Blaise?"

"Well I was wondering about your cousin...Ellie. Is she taken?"

I smiled as I remembered her saying a few months back that she fancied him.

"No. Why do you ask?" I pushed, even though I already knew what he was going to say.

He scratched the back of his neck, and looked a bit bashful.

"Do you think she'd take interest in me by any chance?"

"Really? You like El? Oh my gosh! I knew it!" I exclaimed happily.

"I don't like her...yet. I just find her very attractive."

"Well I'll see what I can do."

"Okay! Good, great! We're all happy, now can you leave, Zabini? I'm trying to spend time with my girlfriend."

I felt a small brush creep onto my cheeks. I was his.

"Fine, fine. Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

Draco mocked him as he walked out the door, and then turned to me.

"Now...where were we?"

He leaned in again, and kissed me gently, but it quickly grew more passionate as we fought for dominance.

"Give in, darling," he whispered, his voice husky.

I looked up into his eyes which were full of passion.

He leaned back in, kissing me once again. This time, he took over completely.
