Her story so you can understand her more : Zoe was born on the 12nd of January during a cold winter in 1960 in a halfblood family.
Her father used to tell her how the magic world worked and once Voldemort started to raise in power, he explained to her how some pureblood families ( such as the Lestrange, Black and the Malfoy families) thought and about the " blood-purity " thing and how bad that was. Since that day she wanted to fight and that's how she got into The Order of the Phoenix.
She was Marlene's cousin. When they were kids, they didn't get along very well bc of childish arguments, but as they both became the marauders' and lily's friends, they got along again very well. Zoe became like a sister to Marlene and Zoe felt the same way.
Zoe was sorted into Ravenclaw. She was very intelligent and could figure things out very quickly. Although she was very witty, she had a fiery temperament as well when people attacked ( physically or verbaly ) the ones she loved. Her temperament got her several detentions which she thought wasn't fair because she was just standing for her friends. It happened mostly when people insulted Lily ( because she was a muggle-born ).
She couldn't stand Lily at first because she was very pretty and Zoe was jealous of her beauty. She also thought she was acting the way she acted only to show off. But in second year, they got paired together for their Herbology class and after a few weeks of classes, they became friends.
She was quite close with each ones of the marauders except James. She liked him, but wasn't close to him as much as she was with the others.
But the one to who she was the closest to was Sirius. When Remus and him started to date, she came out to him as bisexual. She was a bit scared at first, of course she knew he wouldn't react weirdly but she apprehended it anyways.
She is a big fan of muggle music. She got vinyls for her 12nd birthday and since then she doesn't stop playing them ! She is also a dreamer and a huge bookworm.
