It was finally New Years and I smiled as I looked down at the people dancing in the ball room from the balcony.
I was wearing a tight and long emerald dress and beige high heels. My hair was slightly curled and big silver earrings tickled my shoulder as they hung from my ears.

As I looked down at everyone, I played around with the ring Draco gave me. I wiggled it from side to side and ran my fingers through the diamonds as I scanned the room for Draco.
"Miss," someone said from behind me, I turned around and met Ehrins brown eyes. "I see that your date is with someone else. Perhaps you'd like to dance with me?" I threw him a confused look and looked back down at the ball room where I saw Draco dancing with another girl.

My heart sunk, as he whispered something in her ear that made her smile even more. A tear rolled down my cheek, but I immediately wiped it off and turned around with a big fake smile on my face and nodded.
Ehrin stuck out his hand for me to grab as he bowed down, I took his hand and we walked down the stairs together, cameras flashing at us.

We stopped in the middle of the room, and he put both of his hands on my waist and I put mine of his shoulders.
"Do you know who the girl Draco's dancing with is?"I asked as we slowly moved from side to side as we danced to Hunger by Ross Copperman.
Ehrin spun me around and nodded when our eyes met once again. "Sherin Yoder, she's my half cousin."

I looked over at Draco and Sherin, and rolled his eyes. Is he serious right now? My heart was completely broken, seeing the guy I loved dancing with another girl was not the best feeling in the world.
My blood boiled as I watched them slow dancing, that was supposed to be Draco and I, not Sherin and him.
As I watched them dance together, Ehrin flinched and let go of my hands. I looked at him, and he looked down at my hands, they were on fire, but I couldn't feel the burn.

The room turned to look at me as they all gaped. I looked around at them with a worried look on my face.
"What the fuck is going on?" I whispered as everyone got away from me. I met Draco's grey eyes, and he walked closer to me, but Sherin pulled him back.
He ran to me and put his hands on my cheeks. "It's ok, just breathe." He whispered looking deep into my eyes. I was angry at him, but when I looked into his eyes all the anger I had for him went away, but that still didn't calm down the fire.
"Get away from her Malfoy! She's a monster!"
No matter how many awful things people yelled about me, Draco refused to leave my inside. "It's ok darling." He whispered, over and over again, it managed to calm me down for a second, but the anger would come back every time someone yelled awful things about me.
"Everyone out!" My mother yelled, everyone listened to her and yelled things about me as they left. Tears streamed down my cheeks, and I remembered what Blaise said in the letter.
"When you're feeling alone, just call my name and I'll be there by your side darling."
I closed my eyes and said his name over and over again, but my thoughts about Draco always interrupted my thinking.
His eyes, his smile, his smirk, his touch... They lived together in my head, and never wanted to leave.

"Vana."
I opened my eyes and turned around, meeting Blaises big brown eyes. I laughed and ran towards him, but he stopped me before I could even get the chance to hug him.
"We can't, bad things will happen if we touch." He whispered, I nodded and smiled slightly. I was so happy I was finally able to see him again, the fire burned in seconds.
Draco
Nirvana stood in front of the stairwell, just staring at it and nodding at it making all of us more worried than we already were. "She's gone mad hasn't she?" Jenna asked worriedly, we all turned to look at Jenna and hoped she was wrong.
The fire from her hands stopped and she turned around with tears in her eyes, but a smile on her face.
