Thirty

"Zeke, can you drive for me to the province?" I said the moment I sat on the backseat of the car. Sya lang ang kasama ko since he's all around.

"But young lady--"

"I already told my mother that I'll be staying in my unit tonight." I said pertaining to my unit back in college na mas malapit dito sa opisina, mga fifteen minute drive while it's just a walking distance to my school before.

I don't usually use it after graduation but I think I'll tell my parents that I'll move back to my apartment to start living independently too. Just to try things.

"Babalik din tayo agad later in the evening, I'm just so stressed and I miss Em-em." and George....

I wanted to add pero better make about us private na lang muna since I'm not really sure what George feels for me, alam kong gusto nya ako, pero hindi ko alam kung magkaparehas kami ng pagkagusto sa isa't-isa dahil alam ko sa sarili kong gustong-gusto ko sya. 

I already shopped yesterday after work for the things I wanted to give Tita May and the gang. Mildred and I are in constant communication, nakahanap na daw ng kapalit si Aling Martha a teenager looking for a part-time job na kinuha na din nila.

Today is friday so I have the weekend, pero babalik din ako kaagad sa metro dahil sa presentation na kailangan naming gawin ni Aaron, we'll even meet tomorrow after lunch. 

So far my first week was tiring, but I admit that I am learning a lot of things even on my own. Bukod kay Michelle at Lianne na tinuturuan ako kapag may hindi ako alam or kapag may questions ako, being observant has its perks too. Okay naman lahat ng tao sa opisina, except for Charice and her group na hindi ko na lang pinapansin, because honestly? She's not worth it.

The more I give her attention, the more it'll give her the satisfaction.

It's only fifteen minutes after five so I guess we'll be there around 7 or 8, ni hindi na ako nakapagpalit ng casual clothes sa sobrang pagkaexcited, I just did a retouch and here we are, buti na lang napapapayag ko si Zeke to drive for me. 

Habang nasa daan na kami kumain ng dinner, at least for me since pinahinto ko sa gasoline station yung sasakyan after we ordered in a drive-thru para makakain saglit si Zeke.

"You really liked your stay there?" tanong ni Zeke sa akin habang nasa sasakyan, hindi nya ako tinawag na young lady so I guess he's asking me as a friend.

"Yes, they're very nice Zeke. Oo nga pala, when I left, hindi ka inutusan ni Papa na hanapin ako?" tanong ko to confirm again sa kanya habang nakasilip sa space sa gitna ng driver's seat at passenger seat.

"No, I wanted to but he said that you'll be back in no time." sagot nya na ikinatango ko.

"Then did how did Aaron knew that I was not around? And how did he knew where I was?" takang tanong ko.

"Beats me. No offense, that friend of yours wouldn't be suitable for finding a lost person. He's too focused on himself." sabi ni Zeke na ikinatawa ko lang ng mahina bago umayos ng upo.

"Do you think my father is planning to set me up to some bachelors? Aaron included." I said while looking outside the window.
