Ngumiti siya bago kinuha sa'kin ang mga dala ko. He carried it effortlessly, the two eco bags were on his left hand while the other one were on his right hand.

I tilted my head as I wondered why he's here. "Why are you here by the way, Aaron?" I asked. I guess it was too formal considering that we are not close at all but then, what would I call him except for his name that I know?

He looked back at me because he was walking a little ahead.

"I went with my father for business purposes." He smiled.

I nodded. Aaron and I don't really know each other that much. I know he liked me but we haven't really talked about it so he was still a stranger to me, but a person I kinda know.

I nodded to him. "Thanks for helping me by the way..."

He smiled at me. "You know, I never get to greet you for getting married," He paused and looked me straight in the eye. "So I greet you and I wish for you to have a happy life."

I chuckled before nodding to him.

"Thanks." Nakangiti kong sabi.

Nagpatuloy kami sa paglalakad and Aaron kept our conversation alive.

"And there's one more thing I didn't say sorry about." Aniya at parang nagkaroon agad ako ng hula sa sinasabi niya. "Tell Arck that I am really sorry. Alam kong matagal na iyon but I never really talked to both of you about me liking you." He flashed an awkward smile.

Umiling ako dahil sa pag so-sorry niya. "It's okay." I even nodded twice to show him that it's okay.

He showed me a hopeful smile. "I'm glad it is."

I nodded again. I met a few friends on the way to the parking lot. Aaron and I weren't walking side by side so they didn't ask who he was.

"By the way, your father and my father are friends right?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

He slowly nodded as we rode the elevator. Inilapag niya ang tatlong eco bags sa sahig at namulsa.

"Then, you two must have met him?" I guessed and he nodded again.

"Yes, I actually came from meeting him but I left my dad there. I had to meet a friend here."

Kaagad akong napaayos. "What? Then what are you doing here helping me? You can go. Nasa parking lot na naman tayo eh." I said.

Now, I feel more like a burden to him. Napostponed ko pa ang meeting nila ng kaibigan niya. And I didn't like the feeling.

Nilingon niya ako. "No it's okay. I'll just drop these off in your car then I'll go." He smiled and nodded twice.

I looked at him, unsure. "Are you sure it's okay? You can go meet your friend if you really have to go now."

Umiling siya. "No it's really okay." Just as he finished his sentence, his phone rang.

"Excuse me." He politely said before answering the phone.

Tinanguan ko lang siya habang nakangiti at diretso ang tingin sa pintuan ng elevator. Siya naman ay pasimpleng sinagot ang tawag habang bahagyang nakatalikod sa akin at nakasiksik sa may gilid.
