ZELLA'S POV
“How come you're all alone here?”
He took a seat next to me on the white sand, which was immaculately clean. He then offered me his buko juice, but I politely declined.
Seriously? Will he allow me to drink from his straw? Is there no such thing as an indirect kiss with this man?
OMG! You have such a childlike outlook, Zella!
“Everyone is busy, and I'm not in the mood to help,” I replied in all honesty. Inaatake ako ngayon ng pagiging tamad.
“Why? Is something bothering you?”
“Nothing at all, SJ.”
Yes, I'm having a conversation with Sun Joshua Bonifacio right now. He looked a lot like his father, which is why he seemed so familiar when I first saw him.
But, I really adore how considerate SJ is, like, he seriously pays close attention to every word that is spoken. What an admirable young man!
Well, SJ is only 23 years old. Aunty niya na ako, but if only I am the same age as him, I probably get interested in him kahit kakakilala pa lang namin.
“Really?” he asked, grinning from ear-to-ear.
“Oo nga,” sagot ko naman.
“I don't believe in you. I'm sure you're bothered by something. Should I drop a hint?”
Ano bang pinagsasabi ng batang ito? Kinakabahan ako!
“About last night,” he continued.
He smirked! Ang sarap lang burahin dahil ang gwapo niyang tingnan—este, nakakainis tingnan!
“A-Anong about last night?”
Kaya pala ako kinakabahan. Damn! I think he saw what his brother did last night! God, nakakahiya!
Kinalimutan ko na iyon eh, tsaka mukhang kinalimutan na rin naman iyon ni Mona, sadyang lasing na lasing na siya kagabi kaya nagawa niya iyon. Hindi niya rin ako inaasar, busy siya sa pakikipag-bonding kay Lucas. Well, iyan naman talaga ang rason kung bakit nandito kami. Dinamay niya lang naman kami para hindi ganoon kahalata na ang gusto niya talaga ay ang magka-moment sila ni Mona. Haba ng hair, abot hanggang pusod nitong dagat!
“Okay, I understand, it's a private matter, but may I know why Kuya did it? I mean are you guys secretly dating? Is that why Kuya finds it so hard to love Lucas back?”
Secretly dating? Ayoko nga ng ganyan, eh. Tsaka, we're no longer teenagers na takot malaman ng mga magulang na may jowa na kami. Gosh, we're getting aged! And I probably won't keep it as a secret if I and Mona are in a relationship. But, duh! It won't happen unless we're still single at the age of 40.
“Masyado yatang seryoso ang pinag-uusapan ni'yo.”
Troy sat down as well. Nasa gitna na nila ako ngayon. The ambience is quite heavy now. Well, SJ said he doesn't like Troy because he's inconsiderate and a dumb. He kept on chasing after me when there's this woman who has been with him and who's trying all her best to let him feel that she loves him, but he kept on neglecting her.
