"What are we doing next dada?" Colby asked with cotton candy all over his face making me chuckle at how cute he looked. I took a napkin and poured some water onto it to clean his face and he giggled as I tried to get it out of his nose.

"There's a spy-themed escape room we can take him to, they have security beams and everything." Gregory said. That sounded pretty fun actually.

"Ok, we can do that." I said. Maybe that'll tire him out and we can just relax before we fly back to Georgia tonight.

The drive was pretty quiet as usual, just listening to music.

"Are you ready to do this champ?" I asked as we were at the start.

"Yea!" He giggled and we began.

The whole maze was like a true active spy mission. Even I realized how much work I needed to work on mentally and physically.

"Looks like you have an analysis on your hands babe." Gregory teased. Chase was not joking when he said Colby was quick to grasp information.

"Guess so…" I said and looked at my baby boy he was so lost in his own world looking through his spy goody bag of 'spy gadgets'.

"Where to next, kiddo?" Gregory asked.

"Mmm, can we go see the green lady?" I chuckled.

I love that he calls the statue of liberty the green lady. I find it adorable.

"Let's go then." Gregory smiled and we were in the car and on our way.

"We're so high up." Colby said as we went higher and higher.

I was getting tired honestly, as much fun as it's been these past two days, today has probably been the most tiring.

We walked around the zoo, did that course, and now in the statue of liberty. I may have the ability and training to push my body past its limits but that's the Army, New York with a toddler is a completely different story.

One our way back to the hotel after watching the sunset, we drove back listening to music and I sighed listening and falling asleep listening to "you’re still the one" by Shania Twain and heard my dork singing.

“When I first saw you, I saw love
And the first time you touched me, I felt love
And after all this time
You're still the one I love, mmm, yeah

Looks like we made it
Look how far we've come my baby
We mighta took the long way
We knew we'd get there someday

They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together still going strong

(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss good night

Ain't nothin' better
We beat the odds together
I'm glad we didn't listen
Look at what we would be missin'

They said, I bet they'll never make it
But just look at us holding on
We're still together, still going strong

(You're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss goodnight

You're still the one

Yeah (you're still the one)
You're still the one I run to
The one that I belong to
You're still the one I want for life
(You're still the one)
You're still the one that I love
The only one I dream of
You're still the one I kiss goodnight

I'm so glad we made it
Look how far we've come my baby”

He sang softly as he held my hand and I could feel his love for me in the words he sang, it was so overwhelming.

As we got to the hotel and began to pack, I was beyond overjoyed to go back home and relax in my own bed.

“Last check, do we have everything?” Gregory asked as we went room to room and looked everywhere for anything we may have forgotten.

Once we were content and confident we had everything including souvenirs for everyone  and stuffed animals my lovely boyfriend bought for my baby boy against my wishes which I really don’t mind because I’d probably do the same given his old ones are well, old.

Getting to the airport was a bitch and a half I’ll tell you with the city traffic. At least my champ had fun so that’s all that matters.

“Hey babe.” I said turning up the radio and began singing Amazed by Lonestar because I am amazed at how wonderful he truly is.

“Every time our eyes meet
This feeling inside me
Is almost more than I can take
Baby, when you touch me
I can feel how much you love me
And it just blows me away
I've never been this close to anyone or anything
I can hear your thoughts, I can see your dreams
I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby, I'm amazed by you
The smell of your skin
The taste of your kiss
The way you whisper in the dark
Your hair all around me
Baby, you surround me
Touch every place in my heart
And it feels like the first time every time
I want to spend the whole night in your eyes
I don't know how you do what you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do
Baby, I'm amazed by you
Every little thing that you do
I'm so in love with you
It just keeps getting better
I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side
Forever and ever
Every little thing that you do, oh
Every little thing that you do
Baby, I'm amazed by you.” We sang and kissed as we got to the airport.

“I really am, you know.” Gregory said, smirking and I blushed hard and I groaned. Damn this man and his sweet talking.

“Ready to go home and see Bolt, Colby?” Gregory asked him.

“I am.” He giggled and we loaded the jet.

“Can I sit by the window again dada?” Colby asked and I nodded.

“Yay.” He giggled and we all sat together.

The flight wasn’t bad going back given it was snowing. Of course before leaving we took more pictures and some of us everywhere we went like a picture journal.

As we landed, Gregory dropped us home and we both gave him a hug and kiss also thanking him for the wonderful weekend.

“See you guys later and thanks again Alec for watching the house and Bolt.” I said to him and he nodded.

“No problem, anytime.” He said and they drove off.

“Let’s get you in the bath and into bed champ, you have school in the morning." I smiled.

I had an amazing weekend but now it's time to get ready for the work week.
