"Youn want no juice ?"
She shook her head opening the cooler door. I held it open for her and watched her grab a water bottle. I closed the cooler then opened another one and grabbed a lemon lime Gatorade and Pepsi and closed the cooler.
I walked to the front of the store looking at Royal "You want anything else ?"
She walked away going over to the candy aisle and grabbed a cake and bag of Cheez-its. "Lemme get 3 Vanilla bluntvilles." I sucked my teeth seeing that was the only option behind him.
I grabbed the shit out Royal hands putting it on the counter. I took a twenty out my pocket handing it to him looking at Royal.
I'm finna interrogate the shit out of this lil girl. She too quiet.
I grabbed my change and the bag then walked away from the counter. I opened the door and held it open for Royal. I looked around walking over to Pri car and got in it "Royal?"
She turned around a looked at me "You miss yo momma ?"
She nodded "And Papa."
"You want your Papa ?"
"Mhm. Call Papa."
"Ion know your Papa or his number baby." I took the Pepsi out the bag and handed it to Pri.
"Poohbear wasn't you suppose to go to your granny birthday dinner ? You done missed it."
"I didn't plan on going anyways."
"That is sad how you act towards her and your momma now."
"They be blowing me dawg." I mumbled opening Royal Cheez-its "You got friends at home ?"
She nodded "Mhm. We play everyday at daycare."
"You just wanna play huh ?"
She nodded "Mhm. I want Mr. Frickles too."
"Who is Mr. Frickles ?"
"My bear."
"Why you didn't bring him ?"
"Cause I thought I was going to daycare with my friends."
"You ready to go to school ?"
"Mhm. I get to learn and be smart."
"Yup you do. You know your Abc's ?"
"Mhm."
