"Why I gotta go to school daddy ?" Sayir complained while I put lotion on her face.
"So you can learn Tink like a big girl. You wanna be smart right ?"
"No. I wanna be sleep."
I started staring at her tryna find something appropriate to say "Well sleep time is over. It's time to learn."
"Ima just go to sleep at school." She shrugged sitting in front of me with her eyes still closed.
"If your teacher call me or your momma and say you can't stay woke in class, Ima come beat you."
"Then that's gonna make me even more sleepier."
Saylor chuckled holding Sage hand "She is a mini you and you can't handle it and it's so funny to me right now."
"Go get your book bag." I sucked my teeth helping her off the counter.
Sayir walked out the kitchen rubbing her eyes. I looked at Saylor then down at Sage standing beside her dressed with her book bag on "Come here Dooda." I held my hand out for her.
"You talking Royal to school too ?"
"No. Ion got time to go to three different schools today." I picked Sage up fixing her hat "Look at my big girl." I held my hand out.
She gave me a five sucking on her pacifier "You needa give this up Dooda. You almost 3 still sucking on this." I tried taking the pacifier from her but she bit down on it.
"She do." Saylor scoffed walking out the kitchen.
I opened the snack cabinet grabbing the box of variety cookies. Sage took her pacifier out reaching for the pack of cookies I was taking out the box "Ut un. You ain't getting no sweets this morning." I put the box back then closed the cabinet.
She tried to grab the scooby cookie package out my hand "Ima beat you." I warned her putting the cookies in my coat pocket.
Sayir walked back in the kitchen looking over it "You ready to go ?"
"No." She turned walking away from the kitchen.
"She'll get over it once she get there." Saylor waved her hand looking at Sayir.
"She better." I turned the kitchen light out "You should be leaving too lil bruh."
"I am." She shooed me off "I gotta finish my hair."
"You ain't got that much time." I opened the front door then grabbed Sage sippy cup from her putting it on the side of her book bag.
"Don't worry about me. Go run your business."
"My business out of business until further notice." I walked out the house closing the door behind me "Stop looking like that Tink."
She walked down the steps beside me frowning "I don't wanna go to school daddy. I hate it there. They loud and stink and stingy."
