I held Nessie staring at her again she was bigger, having grown in the last 2 days, I also thought about Jacob. About possibly maiming him for imprinting on her when I hear Edward laugh. I look back at him, everyone else does too. "What?" I ask confused as I passed Nessie off to Esme.
"You didn't say anything?" He says I shake my head "You just said something about maiming Jacob," I froze staring at him my mouth open
"I didn't say that out loud," I whisper everyone looked shocked at this new information, "I thought it," No one knew what to say I looked off to the room where my sister transformed, had Bella been protecting my mind? Was that why both he and Aro couldn't hear me? No one could take the time to question it when Bella's heart stopped. Everyone in the house stilled and Edward smiled. Bella had turned, our lives could move into what ever form of normal we had or needed.
I look at Jasper and smiled, though my brain whirled with thoughts of confusion, how could Edward hear my thoughts and what did it mean. I knew this was futile, because it didn't matter at the end of the day. I smiled at Renesmee who wore a large smile having gathered that Bella was awake from Esme's thoughts.
