The air was cool around you, the sun still shining behind clouds. Vili's boots crunched down on any twig or dead leaf, he didn't say anything and nor did you. He had offered to walk you home and right now that sounded like the best idea for you. Your mind was everywhere and you could stop thinking about Loki no matter what, you wondered if he was thinking of you too. Slowly your house came into view, Vili stopped, he scratched the side of his face before speaking
"I'll let ya go now, I'm sure ya can walk to your house just fine. Thank you again for visiting it was nice to have company." he smiled brightly
"That's alright thank you for walking me back, I'll try to visit again sometime." Vili nodded enthusiastically, you turned on your heels and began to walk
"Goodbye!" he called after you
"Farewell!" you replied turning around slightly to wave at him, he began to walk away. As soon as Vili was out of sight the thought of Loki settled back in your mind again. You were going to sleep early today that was for sure, your body was exhausted and you only realised that now. You entered your house and went straight to your room, ignoring the strong smell of food. As soon as your head hit your pillow you fell into a peaceful sleep.

You stretched your arms yawning softly, the blanket was silky-smooth, it slipped from your grasp easily. You didn't have silk bedding, only royalty did, you opened your eyes. Squinting at the soft light that the sun provided, that's when you became aware of the arm that was draped around your waist. You turned your head to see Loki there, he slept peacefully. His eyes closed and a small smile grazed his lips, you looked back up at the ceiling. This didn't make any sense but you didn't care, he was here and that's all that mattered. You wouldn't question anything, Loki shifted from besides you. His eyes fluttered open and rested on you, his hand caressed your face.
"Morning." he said groggily, you hummed in reply. Kissing him gently which he all too eagerly responded, smiling into the kiss. You broke apart for air resting your forehead against his.
"I love you darling" he hugged you tightly, pressing you against him. You opened your mouth to reply then abruptly closed it again, did someone just call your name?
"Y/n." Is that your mother's voice? What's she doing here?
"Y/n wake up."
"Mother?" you turned back to look at Loki to be met with nothing, he was gone.
"Loki?" you sat upright you eyes frantically searching the room
"Loki!?" the room started going black, you vision darkened, you could faintly hear someone talking
"We'll find a way darling, I promise." Loki's voice echoed through your head, as your eyes fluttered open. You woke up back in your room, in your bed, no sign of Loki. Your mother stood by the door giving you a worried look
"Are you okay?" she asked softly
"Yeah just had a strange dream that's all." you rubbed your temples before sitting up
"You were calling him, in your sleep." She gave you a sympathetic look
"oh, I was um sorry about that." a small wave of embarrassment washed over you
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah I'm sure, I'll be down in a minute, just give me a sec." Your mother nodded and left, closing the door behind her. That dream felt so real, you touched your lips lightly, they tingled slightly as if you really had kissed Loki. You remembered what he said to you and decided to tell him about it when you next saw him, the words still lingered in the back of your mind.
'We'll find a way darling, I promise.'
You decided to believe that, hearing those words said by Loki even if it was just a dream was comforting and it gave you a little more hope.
