A/N - hi all, just a warning this chapter is basically all smut and has no real baring on the actual story but just the antics of a couple who have been apart for weeks, so if you're not into that, feel free to skip it, otherwise i hope you enjoy 😉 and the story will pick up again in 29 💚 L x

"I like being here, it feels nice, it feels like you"

"Oh yeah, my pokey little flat is so much better than your gorgeous north London mansion with the perfect music room and swimming pool" I scoffed, to which Harry squeezed his arms tighter round me tickling me as we laid snuggled on my sofa together, the soft notes of 'Beautiful Day' by Mozez floating around the room.

"It's not about one place being better, I just like being around your things, it tells me more about you"

I smiled settling back down into his chest

"Ok, tell me, what do you get from my things?" I asked intrigued arching my neck to look up at him.

Harry smiled and looked around my small lounge.

"Ok... so you express yourself with bold colours, but they are all dark and rich and earthy, like deep oceans and dark forests at dusk which I would bet would be some of your favourite places to explore, and then there's the hints to all the travelling you've done, there's obvious prints of New York but also there's the photos of you and friends which all appear to be in different places you've visited all over the US but there's also the copies of Rolling Stone under the coffee table, you can't get those here, so you must have them delivered in, the industrial touches in the lighting and tables and stuff that give that hint of New York loft, but there's also a couple of what look like aboriginal or Maori artwork telling me you spent some time in New Zealand or Australia, I'm not sure I'm no expert."

Harry was clearly very observant and intuitive, either that or I was a lot easier to read than I thought.  I smiled at him, urging him to continue.

"so I'm going to say that there's a couple of different eras you love, there's little hints of 40s and 50s in your décor, like those little vases" he said pointing to some small delicate glass vases on my mantle

"They were given to my grandparents on their wedding day in the 50's, my Nan gave them to me when I brought my first house" I explained

"And they're a beautiful reminder of your family too then.  Musically you love the 70's, and there's music everywhere I look, band posters, ticket stubs, vinyl, you have a set of headphones in every room, I haven't seen a piano but I'm so pleased to see you still have some guitars here even if you don't play them anymore"

He paused and held me a little tighter as he said this, gently placing his lips on the top of my head kissing my hair

"And then there's you're books, there's notebooks everywhere, I'm not sure if they are filled with doodles, writing or what but its like there's always one within reach just in case.  You clearly love to read I'm not sure you could have crammed any more novels in here if you tried, and you love the classics, I'm not sure why one person needs so many copies of Pride and Prejudice" Harry chuckled

"Hey I can't help it if people know I love it especially if they are beautiful and get them as gifts for me" I defended

"But weirdly in amongst all the classics, you have hundreds of crime novels and like, girly books, it kind of sums up the three sides of you that I love.  Girly and romantic, elegant, timelessly beautiful and intelligent, and slightly dark, mysterious, mischievous even."

"Everywhere I look there's just more of you oozing out of the things you surround yourself with, you unashamedly say who you are, you're bold, incredibly creative, organised, absolutely everything has its perfect place, your romantic but independent.  I love it" he concluded
