Kamira Marie Raines
East Harlem📍

"Mira this is so cute," Amira cooed at the outfit she picked out for Kamira. Kamira picked at the tight fabric and cringed.

"It tight... and it's showing too much," Kamira sighed. Amira had her wearing a pair of Jean shorts that stopped at her mid-thigh and a crop top that showed off her belly.

"But you look cute though," Amira chuckled. "Fine... you don't have to wear it if you don't want to. Let's find you something else then, the block party starts in a couple hours."

Kamira sighed. She knew her sister was just trying to help her and she was just giving her a hard time. "Okay... I'll wear it."

"Really!?"

"Yea really," Kamira chuckled. "Let's just go before I regret this whole plan," she sighed walking out Amira's room and across the hall to hers.

Kamira grabbed her purse and walked to the front door where Amira was already waiting for her. They walked out to their car their father bought them for their 16th birthday.

"I'm going to get Imaya... that's okay with you?" Amira asked as they pulled out of the driveway. Kamira shrugged her shoulders, she didn't have a problem with the girl.

If anything Imaya was the only friend of Amira's that Kamira liked. Most of Amira's friends were snobby and rude.

Amira had pulled up to Imaya's house within five minutes. Imaya and her twin brother Iman were both standing outside yelling.

"What is they arguing about now?" Amira said to herself as she watched the two go back and forth.

"Bye Manny, you irritating as fuck," Imaya groaned walking towards the car.

"Don't be out being a hoe Imaya, get yo ass beat if you want to," he hollered after her.

"Fuck you!" She yelled waving him off. "I can't stand his stupid ass," she climbed into the backseat shutting door.

"Hey to you too," Amira chuckled.

"Hey bestfriend," she said with her mood instantly changing. "Hey Kamira," she waved.

"Hi Imaya," Kamira replied.

"Let's go, I'm trying shake some ass and throw some cash!" Imaya yelled.

"We not going to a strip club, Maya," Amira laughed.

"Same diff," she waved her off.

"Mira you look cute, I'm not used to seeing you not in sweats," Imaya said.

"Thanks," Kamira mumbled.

Amira glanced at Kamira seeing her fidgeting with her fingers. "Imaya what you and Manny was arguing about?" She asked trying to take the attention off Kamira knowing she didn't like it.

"He think imma going to the block party to be a hoe. Talking bout I'm going out to be seen by some niggas, so we ended up getting into it like always," she explained rolling her eyes.
