Chapter 37: I'm Sorry I Loved You

"Tomura finally started thinking and making decisions for himself... I wish you wouldn't have gotten in his way. Now then, shall we do it?"

There he was floating in the air while you just stared at him from the ground. You knew what was going to happen next and it's not gonna be pretty.

"Dad..." You couldn't help but mumble his name. The mastermind who's been hiding all these years, he finally revealed himself to the world. It also meant that your true identity will also be revealed sooner or later.

And if that moment comes, you'll lose everybody's trust in a blink of an eye.

"As expected of the number four hero, Best Jeanist. I thought I'd blown everyone away. To be able to manipulate everyone's clothes and pull them to the side in an instant, that quick decision-making... and skill... you must have nerves of steel."

You watched as your Father killed the number four hero. It was a painful sight but you couldn't look away at the scene in front of you. All For One, this was the first time you've seen him fight heroes for real. He was way stronger than you thought, he's equal to All Might after all.

"Damn it! What... the hell...?!" You looked at the blonde in shock. The gooey portal appeared in front of your Father and so did Bakugo.

"Sorry, Bakugo."

"Huh?!"

More portals appeared from thin air as the League stepped in to the scene.

"You failed again, huh, Tomura? But do not be discouraged. Just try again. I have brought your associates back as well. Even this child. Because you judged that he was an important piece," All For One slowly walked towards Shigaraki as he held out a hand, "Do it over as many times as you need to. That is why I am here. It's all for you."

You could feel your heart being stabbed by his words. Everything was for Shigaraki... not you. You remained on the ground not far from where they were but they couldn't see you clearly. You eavesdropped on them while your heart was breaking into tiny pieces.

Why... why is it always him? I'm his daughter... and he doesn't even pay attention to me. Why did he choose that damn Shigaraki over me?! Why... why?!

Your eyes were wide as you placed your hand on your chest where you felt your heart ache. All these years, the reason why he hasn't been looking at you was because he was too focused on his successor, Shigaraki, and that name doesn't belong to you. You didn't understand why you were never chosen, instead, you were only used.

All of a sudden, All Might came from nowhere as he tried to land a punch on the masked man. It's been a while since he had a fight with his rival and he'll make sure he'll win in this battle.

"I'll have you return everything, All For One!"

"Will you kill me again, All Might?"

A strong force of wind occured causing you and the others to fly away. You landed on the ground next to a wide debris and watched as they spoke about things you've never heard about before.

"I won't make the same mistake as I did six years ago, All For One! I will take both Young Y/N and Young Bakugo back! And this time, I will throw you in prison for sure! And all the League of Villains you control with you!"
