Peace And Serenity (Luke Skywalker)

Resucing a Princess

"Princess?" Han asks but the breathless pair pay no attention to him.
"Where? Where is she?" Serenity almost tripped over R2 in attempts to get closer to the monitor.
"Princess? What's going on?" Han asks again but is silenced by Serenity's index finger. R2 turns and beeps at 3PO
"Level 5, Detention block AA-23." 3PO states.
R2 bloops and blips some more.
3PO translates, "I'm afraid she's to be terminated."
"Terminated?!" She stumbles backwards into Luke which causes to her fall. Luke tries to catch her but they both end up falling to the ground, Serenity on top, Luke underneath her.
"Agh! Seren...your crushing me." He giggles slightly.
"Sorry." She replies, gets up and brushes herself off.
"Well we gotta do something!" Luke exclaims once he returns to a standing position.
"What are you two talking about?" Han asks, tired of not getting answers.
Luke points to the two droids, "The droids belong to her, she's the one on the message. We gotta help her!" He gets up in Han's face.
"No look, don't get any funny ideas, the old man said to wait here."
"My father didn't know she was here." She faces 3PO "Find a way into the detention block."
"I'm not going anywhere!" Han sits down in the chair beside him. Luke did not return to where Serenity was standing but instead continued to argue with him.
"They're gonna execute her. Look a few minutes ago you said you didn't want to just wait to be captured. Now all you wanna do is stay?"
"Running into a detention center is not what I had in mind."
"But they're gonna kill her!" Luke exclaims.
"Better her then me!" Han doesn't back down.

"ENOUGH!" Serenity shouts. Her teeth are clenched together and her chest is rising and falling noticeably. Her blue lightsaber ignited in her right hand. "I will kill you both right now if you don't stop! My head is going to explode from all your kriffing yelling!" Luke looked at her in pure fear while Han's eyebrows had creeped up into his hairline.

Luke had never seen her so mad before. Her blue eye had darkened to a stormy grey while her hazel one had turned a sort of black. He shrinks and slowly backs away from her. Han turned around and shook his head in disbelief. That girl sure had a temper.

Serenity took a deep breath, deactivated her lightsaber and put a hand to her head. She widened her eyes. What was that?! She knew she had a temper but this was like never before.
"I'm S-sorry." She breathes. "I-I don't know w-what happened...I...oh Force what's wrong with me?" She turned and braced herself with her hands on a control panel. Luke immediately rushes over to her and rubbed her back in caring circles.
"Nothing's wrong with you Seren...we shouldn't have been yelling..."
"N-n-no you don't understand. I let my anger get to me. That-that's not good Luke. Not-not good at a-all." She runs a shaking hand through her hair. "Oh Force...oh Force."

Luke sensed she wanted to be alone so he went back over to Han. He knew something that might get him to change his mind. But he would do it quietly...
"She's rich." He smiled slightly. Chewie responds with a couple of arghs.
"Rich?"
"Rich, powerful...you if you were to rescue her the reward would be..." he waved his hands about.
Han presses Luke to finish, "What?"
"Well more wealth then you could imagine!"
"I don't know. I can imagine quite a bit." Han turns his seat around.
"You'll get it."
"I better!"
"You will." Luke nods.
Han jabs his finger in Luke's face. "Alright kid you better be right about this...what's your plan."

Serenity perks her ears up at the mention of a plan. She absolutely loved plan-making. She decided to put her little temper flare behind her and focus on the now. Luke rubs his hands together.
"I've got a great one! 3PO, hand me those binders over there will ya?"

"This isn't what I would call a great plan." Serenity mumbles. "I don't like being without my lightsaber."

Serenity and Chewie were cuffed and lead by the disguised Han and Luke. It was a clever plan but Serenity didn't like being restrained. Luke held her lightsaber tightly in his hand. He thought it would raise suspicion if she had it on her.
"Don't worry Seren. I'll give it right back." He whispers back to her.
"If you lose it I swear-" she starts.
"Shh!" Han exclaims making her shut up. The led the "prisoners" to an elevator. Once inside, Luke loosened their cuffs.
"This isn't going to work." Han said pessimistically.
"Why didn't you say so before?" Luke asked.
"I did say so before."
