The following day, his classroom of students have all arrived, a few of them hung over from the night before. He dives right in by announcing, "Let's begin today's lesson." The students all shuffle papers, awaiting the chosen one's mighty words.

Now that his formal testimony has been given, he looks up to Suzanne's side of the room as he preaches from his pulpit to find Suzanne sitting in her usual chair. She isn't glaring at him at all, but has a light smile on her face, as if to say to him, "Gotcha Motherfucker, don't try it again."

It's the first time he's ever seen that expression on her face instead of the usual stressed out mug he's accustomed to looking at. That is, of course, when she's not throwing eye daggers at his face. It's almost bordering someone whose expression could be mistaken for happy. She does seem like the type of person, after all, who is only happy when she's miserable.

He assumes all is well for the time being and proceeds with his talk. He's back to his old form, lightly musing with students as he delivers another solid presentation of the edutainment his young scholar fans went nuts for. Back on top again.
