"Ugh," You groan. "New Years is so boring."
"Boring?" Hiro asks. "How is it boring?"
"How is it not boring?" You ask. "You literally sit on the couch and stare at the huge glowing ball on the screen and wait for it to fall. And that's it."
Hiro nods. "Alright, so you're not a fan of holidays."
"Just New Years," You clarify.
"Well, it's midnight. Happy New Years!" Hiro throws his hands up in the air.
You laugh. "Ugh!"
On the screen, a couple kisses as confetti falls around them. Hiro smirks and leans down. "W-what are you doing?"
"I love you, ___," Hiro whispers before kissing you. You stay frozen. He pulls away and you grab his shoulders.
"I-I love you too," You whisper, and then you kiss him roughly.
