SOTD: STOCKHOLM SYNDROME BY ONE DIRECTION...THIS SONG IS SO GOOD WOW

~

Holy crap.

"You've said that already" I whipped to my right and only just, then, registered that I was still beside Trish and that I had just said that out loud.

"Are you sure, though? Maybe you're wrong" I tried to look on the bright side but her dark eyes misted and I pulled her in for a hug, already knowing what was to come.

"Don't you think I've thought of that?" She sobbed into my arms, "I've taken five of these things and they all say the same thing"

I sat quietly as she wailed and felt tears of my own coming out. I couldn't help it, sad people made me sad.

"What am I going to do, Harper?" she asked, bleary eyed.

"Maybe we should call Andr~"

"No!" Her head flew up so quick that I had to dodge it so as not to end up with a bloody nose...the girl was fast, "You do NOT tell any of the boys. Not now, not tonight~"

"But tonight would be a good opportunity for you to get Seth alone and tell him"

Tonight was the night of Seth's late step father, Dennis', annual charity banquet that was now also something of a memorial for him. This banquet was one of the things that Dennis found incredibly important and no one could find it in their hearts to just stop having them because he was gone. Each and every one of Dennis' offices around the globe held one in their respectetive cities or towns and tonight was the one in LA. Seth had kindly invited us all, even Sophia and Tyler, and I couldn't deny how excited I was to finally be going to a big event that wasn't either about me or someone I couldn't care less for.

This was for a good cause.

"How about no?" she rolled her eyes and folded her arms over her chest.

I shook my head at her words, "But you're inviting everyone over for a celebration party after the banquet tonight..just slip it in"

"I can't just slip something like this in!" She shrieked pacing the room.

"Well if you hadn't slipped it in in the first place, we wouldn't be having this conversation now would we?" I murmured harshly.

Her jaw trembled and she slid to the ground in another heap of tears.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry" I sighed rushing over to her and patting her back, "That was insensitive"

"You and Andrew were made for each other; you're both jerks" She snapped continuing with her wails.

I looked down awkwardly at this, feeling badly for completely agreeing with her.

"You almost ready?" Andrew grunted from where he lay on my bed, fully clothed in an expertly tailored black suit, complete with cuff links and the shiniest black shoes I had ever seen.

True to fashion, he refused to show up not wearing a tie of some sort and only buttoned the middle button on his suit. The fact that his stubble had come in a little more and his hair was perfectly coiffed, made it all even better. He looked sexy and rugged; as if he couldn't care less that he looked better than most men could ever hope to look.

"Should I go for a bold lip and neutral eye or the other way around?" I muttered coming out of the bathroom in my underwear, holding the eye shadow pallet to my face.

Andrew looked up at me with a smirk before making a face at the rollers in my hair, "Does it really matter?"

"Yes, Andrew" I rolled my eyes stomping to the bed side table and grabbing my phone, "I apologize for making an effort"
