Chapter 52
Gen's POV
"Ladies and Gentlemen we have now landed in Nassau in the Bahamas, please remain seated with your seatbelt on until the plane has come to a complete stop. The local time in Nassau is now 5:11am. Thank you for choosing to fly with Delta Airlines, we hope you enjoyed your flight"
"We are finally here!!" I squeal to Sandra who is sitting right next me.
"Yeah!" She says totally ignoring me
"C'mon let's go" she says once the plane has landed. She reaches under the seat in front of her and grabs her hand bag and slings it over her shoulder
"Right" I say and do the same
We exit the plane and on our way out, we thank the air stewardess and go to the carousal to collect our luggage
"This is SO beautiful!" I say to her
"Mmmm" she says but she is too busy texting
We ride a taxi to the beach house which we are renting for these 2 weeks
"I love this place!" I say to Sandra as we tour the beach house
"I know! I wish we could stay here forever" she says
"Do you want to stay in the same room or different rooms?" she asks
"I don't mind" I tell her
"Alright, how about you take the master and I will take the other one" she suggests
"You can have the master if you want?" I tell her
"I don't really like big rooms remember?" She reminds me
"Oh right. Forgot" I apologise. She just shrugs it off and walks into her bedroom
"Let's go down to the beach" She says after a while
"Ok" I say
She leaves to go get dressed and I close the door while I put on one of my new bikini's
I put on a sun dress to cover up my bikini since I am not going to be in the water the whole time and I take out my beach bag from my suitcase. I pre-packed everything in my beach bag and put all of it into my suitcase because we are going to be at the beach pretty much everyday.
"Sandra, are you ready?!" I call from my room
"Nearly!" she yells back
"Meet me out in the patio!" I tell her
I walk out onto the front patio and sit on one of the chair while I wait for her
"Ok, let's go!" She says and walks out of the beach house
We take a 5 minute walk down to the beach
"WOW! It's so pretty!" I say
"I know!" she says
We just stare in awe
We walk down nearer to the water, but not too near and lay out our towels. We decide that we will lay on the deck chairs another day
"Hey girls!" A couple comes up to us
The guy is tall and has brown hair and is wearing blue board shorts and the girl is wearing a blue bikini and they are holding a volley ball
"Hi!" Sandra says. I wave
"We were wondering if you would like to join us in some beach volley ball? We have a group of friends over there and we just need 2 more players" She says
Sandra and I look at each other and shrug
"Sure!" I answer for the both of us
"Thank you!" she says
We follow them to their group of friends
"This is Katherine, Lucy, Johanna, Jane, Amanda, Edward, James, Harrison, Dylan, Josh, Kallum and Cameron" she introduces her friends
"And I'm Sierra and this is my boyfriend Sam" she says
"Hi" I wave to all of them
"So do you want to get to the game or would you feel more comfortable if we got to know each other a bit more?" Sierra asks
"I don't mind just getting to the game" Sandra says
"Cool!" she says and splits us off into teams
"Best of eleven!" Sierra says who is on my team as well as Sam, Sandra, Kallum, Katherine, Edward and Jane
Sierra serves and it goes over nicely! Harrison ducks down low and digs to ball up and over the net. Sandra spikes the ball over the net and lands on the sand
"YEAHH!" The guys cheer and all run up to hug Sandra
Sandra has always been really good at Volley Ball so this is no surprise
"Your serve!" Kallum says and kicks the ball to Lucy
Lucy serves and Jane goes to hit it but she accidentally hits it out into the water
Since she was infront of me, I decided that I should go and get it
"I'll get it!" I say and jog over to the ball
When I get over there (in the water), I bend down to pick it up when a person comes out of the water below me and hits my head against theirs
The ball flies out of my hand and after getting up, I go to retrieve it but I can't find it
"Looking for this?" The guy says
"Yeah, thanks" I say and grab the ball from his hands
When I look up, the sight is all too familiar
"Zayn?" he looks at me in the eyes
"Gen?"
