Chapter 38
Gen's POV
"We have to go back" Sandra told me while I in the bathroom brushing my hair
"But why can't we just watch the courses online like we did for this semester?" I reply. Right now Sandra is telling me that we have to go back to Florida to complete a semester of classes
"The webpage broke down" she says and I let out a sigh
"Ok, when do we have to leave?" I ask
"Well, the semester begins in a week so we have to leave either tomorrow or the day after because we also have to get some text books"
Sandra and I are taking the same courses because we both want to become a paediatrician which is a doctor that specializes in looking after children.
"Alright well we better start packing and we should ship some stuff back to our apartment" I tell her. Sandra and I recently bought an apartment back in Florida because the tour was ending soon and we wanted to stay together near our university.
"See you later" she says and walks off
I walk into the "lounge room" of the tour bus where all the boys were and I let out a sigh
"What's the matter?" Niall asks
"Sandra and I have to go back to Florida to complete a semester of classes" I reply and sit down in between Zayn and Liam because that was the only spot available
"Why can't you just take them online like you did for this semester?" Harry asks
"The webpage broke down or something, so anyway, Sandra is now packing her stuff and we are going to ship some things to our apartment today and then we are going to take off in a day or to" I tell them
"aww well that's a shame. We will miss having your company" Liam states
"We will miss yours too" I say and get up to go and join Sandra when Zayn's phone starts ringing
"I'll get it" I tell him
"Who is it?" he asks. I look down to see "Perrie" on the screen and my facial expression drops
"It's Perrie"
"Oh um, just decline the call" he says
"It could be something important" I state
"She has Sam by her side remember!" he nearly yells
"But you are her son's father, at least show some responsibility!" I nearly yell back
"Guys! If you keep arguing it is going to go into voicemail anyway!" Harry yells above us. I let out another sigh before picking up the phone
"Hi Perrie, it's Gen here" I say and look at Zayn who is now rolling his eyes
"Where is Zayn?" she asks
"Zayn is in the toilet" I tell her and Zayn smiles a little
"Do you know when he is going to be out?"
"No I don't sorry, but I can pass on a message for you if you would like"
"Yes that would be great! Please tell him that I need him over here in Florida to sign some papers of Oliver going to kindergarten and attend a school interview"
"Sure, I will let him know"
"Thank you. I have to go now but it was nice talking to you"
"Nice talking to you to"
"Bye"
"Bye" I end the call and put Zayn's phone back on the table
"What did she want?" Zayn asks
"She needs you to fly over to Florida to sign some papers for Oliver attending kindergarten and you need to attend a school interview as well" I tell him
"Well I guess I will be coming with you then" he gets up and walks over to the beds
"I guess so" I say quietly and roll my eyes
...
"All passengers boarding the plane from Chicago to Florida, please meet at gate 5, I repeat gate 5"
The minute we hear that, Zayn, Sandra and I rise from our seats to give everyone a hug. Zayn hugs everyone first, then Sandra, stopping at Harry and hugging him the longest with a few kisses here and there. Finally there's me
"Bye Liam" I say hugging him
"Have a safe flight and you better do well seeming as you are leaving us for a semester!" he says
"I will do my best" I chuckle
"Bye Niall"
"Good bye darling, have a safe flight"
"Yes father" I remark sarcastically
"Can I hug Harry?" I ask Sandra
"Yeah sorry" she says and gives he a quick peck on the lips and moves on to hug Louis
"Bye bye brother"
"Take care of my girlfriend" Harry says
"I will definitely not" I say winking and then I move onto Louis. Boy, will I miss him!
"Bye Louis" I sigh and give him a tight hug
"I will miss you" he says into my ear
"I will miss you so much more"
"I love you" he says
"I love you too" I say nearly crying
"We'll skype, call and text whenever we can right?" he says
"Yeah" I part from him and he uses his thumb to wipe away a tear
"Don't muck around with Zayn" he says sternly
"I won't! Don't you trust me?"
"As you know, he can get a little crazy, especially when he is drunk. We all know what happened to Perrie" he says and he is still holding me on my waist and I have my hands joined behind his neck
"Yeah, I know" I reply
"Come on love birds, we gotta go" Sandra calls from behind
"Well I should get going, bye Louis" I say giving him a faint smile
"Bye" he says and gives me a quick peck on the lips. I drag my suitcase behind me and walk onto the airplane. Missing Louis is one thing, but now I also have to put up with Zayn and I don't know if I am happy about it or not
