-A few hours earlier- (On the boat)

"Welcome to Chen's Island. The Tournament of Elements welcomes its brave fighters." Clouse turned to Garmadon, "Master Chen will be pleased you've returned, Sensei Garmadon..." Clouse frowned a bit.

"The pleasure is all mine, Clouse." Garmadon frowned as well, "Im sure it is." Clouse rolled his eyes and walked away as me and the others stepped to the side. "Definitely feeling some tension between you two." Jay said.

"Yeah, and how is it we're on an island I've never seen on any map?" Kai asked. "And care to explain how the face to Ninjago's most popular noodle house is secretly assembling an underground fighting tournament?" Cole asked.

"Master Chen used to be a friend. Now he is a traitor. During the Serpentine Wars, Chen turned against his own kind and sided with the treacherous snakes." Garmadon explained. "The battle you and Uncle Wu fought together in? He was an enemy?" Lloyd asked.

We started to walk behind the other people who were invited, "He used deception to divide the Elemental Masters. We barely defeated the Serpentine, and in deal for his surrender, Chen was to never leave this island. Little did we know, he'd begin to build his criminal empire from here." Garmadon frowned and glared at the building in front of us.

"He may have divided our ancestors, but he's not gonna divide us." Lloyd said. Kai looked behind him and looked at the cloaked girl in awe. He then pushed all of us aside and I fell into Lloyd's chest. Lloyd kept me steady by holding my waist and we looked at Kai.

"Uh... Ladies first. Fire will melt her icy heart." Kai said as she walked past. "Just wait.." Kai said. Lloyd started to walk ahead with me and Garmadon sighed, as they walked with us as well. We walked up the stairs and stopped behind the other elementals.

"This is a big island. Zane could be anywhere. Keep an eye out." Cole said. The doors opened and inside were a bunch of tattooed men chanting and hitting drums. We walked through the door way and Jay looked around.

"So this is the house that noodles built. Ha! Always wanted to go to a red carpet event." Jay said as he started to walk like those celebrities who have it way over their head. "Chen lives like a king. Here, he's totally self-sufficient. The only way on or off this island is with his permission, which you have to earn." Garmadon explained.

"You never told me about this place. How do you know so much about this island?" Lloyd asked. "Because before Chen was my enemy," Garmadon slid his sleeve off his shoulder and a purple snake tattoo was on his back, "he was my sensei." I bit my lip, 'I really hate it here..' I thought as we went inside.

~~~ (Lloyd's POV)
"You never told me you had a Sensei." I said to dad. Y/n started to take a nap so I let her sleep on my shoulder, "When I was your age, I sought a darker means of guidance. He taught me to win at all cost, no matter who I hurt. It wasn't until you saved me that I saw the light." I smiled but Jay looked at Garmadon.
"Uh, apparently he also never taught you to have a sense of humor. Lighten up, we're in an underground fight club. This is supposed to be fun." Jay said. Then someone had hit the gong and some music had started to play.
Y/n stirred in her sleep and I gently rubbed her back. "All rise for Master Chen." Clouse said. I sighed and gently helped Y/n stand up and she surprisingly stood still, although her eyes were still closed.
I looked forward and saw someone come down on a chair. Everyone had sat down already so I made Y/n sit down first then me. "Welcome to the Tournament of Elements. Now, everyone can all die." I widened my eyes and we looked behind us to see the doors closed.
