Chapter 22

"No..." I whispered. I shook my head in disapproval when she pointed the blade at me.

I can't help but to burst into tears after remembering how painful it is.

"What the fuck is happening?" sabat ni Oliver.

Napabaling ang aking paningin sa kaniya, ngunit agad ring napatingin sa lalaking nakadapa habang mahigpit ang kaniyang pagkakahawak sa kamay nito.

His eyes were burning red while intensely glaring at me. His keen fangs were still there and he's trying to get away from Oliver's hands.

"Stop." I glared at Caroline when she stepped forward at me.

Naglakad ako papalapit kay Tobias habang sinalubong ang kaniyang titig.

"Leave us," mahinahon kong saad. Kita ko ang pagtutol sa mukha ng dalawa habang agad namang sumunod si Lara. I sighed heavily and looked at the both of them.

"Please... for him," mahinahon kong saad. My eyes were pleading.

Kahit naguguluhan ay sumunod naman si Oliver, maging si Caroline na hinabol lamang ako ng masamang tingin.

Nang saraduhin nila ang pinto ay agad kong ibinaling kay Tobias ang aking paningin. Before Oliver went outside the room he tied his wrist on the metal of the bed—which is incredibly hard.

His bloody eyes bore at mine. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I slowly walked towards him. Lumuhod ako sa kaniyang harapan at nanginginig na hinawakan ang kaniyang pisngi.

Tears started to form on the side of my eyelids while staring at him. Why do I need to get hurt to satisfy you?

He lowly growled at me and I looked away.

"I hope you're happy with her... Caroline." Hot tears streamed down my cheeks. I bit my lower lips as I softly cried. I glanced at him, smiling. Tears were still streaming.

I know I've been a coward for running away. Locking myself behind doors. Letting my demons hunt me for a year. And now I came back... I don't know who am I coming back for. I guess I just came back for... nothing. I did not want to make Di-A a reason for coming back. But I did.

I'm weak. I never wanted to get hurt. Physically or emotionally. I just... want to be happy. However, all I do was to run away.

But if I don't ran away from that crazy bastard who chased me along that lane. I will not have a chance to meet you.

I was so lonely... I was a girl who was reckless that time. But you changed me. You have changed me, Tobias.

Agad kong tinanggal ang pagkakatali sa kaniya at sa isang iglap ay ramdam ko ang paglapat ng kaniyang pangil sa aking leeg. I gasped loudly but I immediately maintained my balance.

His fangs dug deep down on my neck as I let him suck my blood. Numbness slowly rose up on my neck and the pain goes away after.

A smile curved on my lips when my blurry vision darted on the bloody moon.

The moon looks exactly like his eyes...

It is bloody red.

"Explain," Tobias roared. While Caroline starts to cry in front of him. After waking up, Oliver immediately informed him what happened. And whose blood that saved him.
