Ashton: You sat on the couch watching as Ashton walked around the Christmas tree with the 3 week old baby resting against his shoulder. The baby's eyes were wide as they looked at the glowing Christmas lights wrapped around it. "You like the lights?" He asks the infant. He kisses the top of the child's head, "I love you," he mumbled before directing his attention back to the tree pointing out various ornament to the baby.

Calum: Calum sat the 4 month old in his lap ready to help open the presents he had received from 'Santa.' You handed Calum one of the things under the tree and he placed it in the baby's lap. Calum tore a piece and guided the baby's hands to it encouraging him to unwrap it. He unwrapped part of it but Calum eventually took over and unwrapped the rest of it revealing a little bear that sings. "I bet he still doesn't sing as well as daddy does when we're putting you to sleep though, now does he?" Calum asked the baby in his arms. The child obviously didn't respond so Calum just looked at you and said, "I'll take that as a yes that I sing better."

Luke: Luke sits at the table decorating cookies with the 10 month old placed in the highchair beside him. The baby began making grabbing motions at one of the cookies decorated like a stocking. "Well I guess one cookie won't hurt right?" He shrugs before taking off little piece for the baby to eat. "Mmm!" the baby exclaims as she eats takes a bite. Luke chuckles, "Well at least I know they're good." He then took one of the cookies himself to eat.

Michael: Your daughter was 11 months and had just recently learned to walk. Although you we're proud of her you kind of missed not having to constantly see what she was doing. The minute you and Michael put the decorations on the tree she took interest in the pretty things hanging on each of the branches. At first she was good just looking at them and occasionally taping some of them. It was soon after that she figured out how easy the things could come off the tree. So now you sat on the couch watching as Michael chased after her for the little Santa and Reindeer ornaments in each of her hands. There really was no point in taking them from her knowing that she'd just take another one off and run away with it. Finally he got them from her and sat down on the couch next to you with her. She moved around trying to get off his lap. "Oh no you don't," he said, "you're staying right here with me, daddy needs a break." To occupy her you grabbed one of the nearby toys she had gotten and allowed her to play with that as you three cuddled together.
