"Attention students! Kalianna is hosting a school dance in the courtyard at 9 o'clock p.m. You can attend if you'd like" Miss Bustier proclaimed.
"And you can bring a special someone if you want too" Kalianna said sweetly as the school bell ringed.
Everyone began packing up and exiting the classroom.
The Courtyard
"A school dance? This is gonna be so exciting! Who are you going with Alya?" Marinette asked, she and her best friend were currently sitting on a bench.
"Obviously Nino!" Alya chuckled, then she smirked. "Who are you going with Mari?"
The bluenette's eyes widened and she giggled sheepishly. "Uh, no one! I'll just tag along with you and Nino"
"I know who you could go with" Alya turned Marinette's head to Adrien, who was chatting with Kalianna.
Marinette's face flushed red. "N-no way! I could never go up to him and ask him to the dance! What if he rejects me?"
"Girl, sometimes you gotta build up the courage to ask your crush out"
"You know I can't do that"
"Sure you can, you just need a little push in the right direction" Alya spoke as she shoved Marinette towards Kali and Adrien.
The bluebell eyed girl bumped into Kal. Unfortunately, the noirette was holding a blueberry smoothie which was in a plastic cup with no lid, so when Marinette crashed into her, the smoothie splattered all over her polka-dot shirt and pants.
Alya's and Adrien's eyes widened in horror as Marinette apologized repeatedly.
"Oh my god! I'm sorry, Kali! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm so clumsy..."
"It's okay, I've always got some spare clothes in my bag just in case Chloé tries anything, good thing she's not here right now. I'll be right back" Kal said, directing those last four words at Adrien before she walked off to the bathroom.
"Uh...hi Adrin-I mean Adrien! I'm wondering-uh, I mean I was wondering..."
Adrien looked at Marinette patiently, waiting for her to get her sentence out.
"I was wondering if...well, uh, um..." In the corner of her eye, she saw Alya mouthing, "You got this girl"
"You were wondering if what Marinette?" Adrien queried.
"Wonder-I mean if you were wondering-I mean!"
Adrien was starting to get uncomfortable as Marinette continued babbling and mixing up her sentences.
His mood lifted when he saw Kalianna coming towards him. "Your back..." The boy trailed off and blushed when he saw his girlfriend's outfit.
She was wearing a red and white dress with socks and black shoes. In other words, she looked cute.
