" I'm just playing Mya"

" don't play like that, Nasty"

" why you always gotta be serious all the time" he said taking a seat by me.

Ok he getting a lil to comfortable now.

" cause you know how you get and why you sitting on my couch like you ain't got no where to go"

" For one I don't and two what you mean I don't know how to act" he said while getting even more comfortable.

" Chai I'm not finna respond to you"

" you know this the most cordial we been in a while"

" you haven't cuss me out or even put yours hands on me"

" good hopefully we can stay that way"

" Mya there is something I have been meaning to tell you"

" like what chai"

" I plan to move to L.A in a couple of months from now, you know expanding my business"

" Chai . . . "

I had to really think of what I was going to say.

"you know what do what's best for you okay. Don't forget about your son."

For some reason, I was hurt but then I remember its Chai I should have expected this.

Especially the way his clothing company is taking off.

" so you not mad"

" nope not one bit" I said calmly.

I felt him giving me a weird stare. My curiosity was right.

" stop looking at me like that" I said to him.

" I think imma head out" he said gathering himself.

Good.

I walked him to the door.

" um see you later" he said

" okay" I said

I close my door letting out a breath of air I was holding in.

That was weird.

Brandy . . .

We both stared at each other as the timer went off

I was too nervous to get up.

" you can get it" I said to him.

He took a deep sigh going in the bathroom.

I was shaking so badly because I wasn't expecting this. We haven't even told our friends yet for God sake.

He walked in with an unreadable look on his face.

" it's negative"

I let out a breath I knew I was holding.

" that was a close call" Keith said.

" lords know, ion like kids" he said shaking his head chuckling a little.

For some reason that rubbed me the wrong way.

" you don't want kids . . . like in the future."

" hell no, I don't need  any crumb snatchers, I'm good on the lil guys" he said laughing.

Like it was sooo funny.

He looked at me and know something was wrong.

" you not going to laugh with me"
