I walked into the room Brodie was placed in, he was up laughing a storm at his great grandpa.

" I'm surprise to see you here, yo ass done went ghost on everybody " He said staring at me soon as I came in.

" yea Ive been doing some thinking"

" well I hope it's something smart"

This man forever shady to me and pops.

" daaa-deee" Brodie said to me.

I was happy to see him doing soo good.

" how you feeling ?" Grandpa ask

" okay" I said truthfully

" I heard about the test"

I closed my eyes not really trying to hear that right now.

I know it was stupid, I should have never thought about second guessing if Brodie was mine.

" I get it you don't wanna hear it from me but as you know I don't give a damn"

" I just hope you learn from this, you don't wanna be a old man with a whole bunch of should'of would'of  and could'of"

" that's all I'm saying, but take care, I'll let you spend sometime with him .  .  . he needs you Chai remember that" he said patting my shoulder before leaving the room.

" Brodie you miss me" I said to my son.

He messed with the cross around my neck watching it dangle.

As of right now he is currently in my parents care.

I wasn't gone fight it because I needed to get myself together.

For him though.

" Daddy loves you, don't forget that buddy"

A tear slipped out my eye thinking about all the shit he been through so far.

I know I gotta do better with raising him.

Once he fell asleep I left out noting the people at the front desk of the children's part of the hospital.

I went to the 8th floor where I remember Mya was put at.

" hey sweetie how can I help you ?"

" I'm looking for Mya White"

I waited patiently as she looked at her screen.

" oh wow"

My heart instantly dropped thinking the worst. I felt myself getting dizzy a little.

" W-What's going on"

" It's looks like Ms. Sleeping beauty is awake"

" Room 110 make sure you sign in"

I nodded my head before heading up there.

Only to see her parents and mine.

All eyes went on me.

" Chai what are you doin here ?" My mama said.

" Mama K it's fine" Mya soft voice said.

My heart soften seeing half her head cover up.

" Me and him actually need to talk" she said giving me a straight face look.

" Well we will be outside"

Both Parents of me and hers got up leaving out. I watched as my father walked behind my mother shaking his head at me.

The bond we had was slowly leaving.
